In this episode, we start off by reflecting on the first 3 months of the podcast and look at our listener stats. We then talk about our day-long adventure at South Bay Sports Cards and our experience with BGS' raw card review service. We discuss visiting a Clippers game and snagging two Luka autos, review some monstrous recent maildays, and do a post-mortem analysis of the MJ PMG Green #006/100 sale from last month. Finally, we look at the forthcoming PWCC auction of an MJ PMG Red PSA 6.5 and rip a box of cards.
In this episode, we focus exclusively on the forthcoming auction of the 1997-98 Metal Universe Precious Metal Gems Green Michael Jordan #006/100 PSA Authentic Altered card. We discuss the 1997-98 Metal Universe set, the sparse previous auction history of MJ PMG Greens, the bizarre trial run of the auction, the relisted auction, and theories surrounding the "altered" designation.
In our debut episode, we analyze 5 recent MJ sales, discuss our recent maildays, and predict a card that we think is currently undervalued.
