It's day two of the World Cup, and the biggest download winner isn't any of the football games anyone predicted — it's a Coca-Cola-sponsored sticker-album app. That's just one of three stories this week that matter for mobile.Felix Braberg flies solo for the Friday news segment. The FIFA Panini Collection is pulling roughly half a million downloads a day across Brazil, Mexico, and the US — 12.2 million downloads in 30 days and ~$1.5M revenue — built around Panini's physical collectible-card heritage and Coca-Cola bottle QR codes. Felix also crunched the numbers on Block Blast's 24-hour Google Play takedown (rumored IP infringement) and found it cost the game roughly $120K/day in lost ad revenue, with a 17% daily-active-user drop and a 14-month download low. And Supercell's US game development is winding down — one project killed, another in limbo after staff departures — feeding the bigger question of when (or whether) Supercell lands its next hit.Three stories, one theme: distribution is fragile, and even the biggest names are exposed.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⏱️ TIMESTAMPS00:00 Cold open — Block Blast's lost daily active users00:40 FIFA Panini wins the World Cup download race03:00 The Coca-Cola + Panini sticker-album playbook04:30 Block Blast's 24-hour outage — the real cost06:30 The $120K/day loss and the Turkey/Indonesia drop08:00 Supercell kills a US game, another in limbo━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dörtlü Masa bu haftaki bölümüne Dünya Kupası heyecanına değinerek başlangıç yapıyor. Bölüme gelen sorularla birlikte duş alırken şampuan sıkımı, berberde saç yıkama, toplumun birisini aşağılama sebepleri, islami kökenli astroloji, kopya hazırlama, Panini bağımlılığı, milli takım formaları, yazın cep sorunu, eski sevgiliyle arkadaş olma, sıralama soruları ve daha birçok farklı konuya değiniliyor.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off tomorrow, and Atlanta Soccer Tonight spends the eve of the tournament soaking it all in. Jason Longshore opens with a love letter to Atlanta, tracing the city's soccer history from the Atlanta Chiefs in 1967 through the 1996 Olympics to the moment the world arrives at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Clips from Georgia State coaches Ed Joyce and Brett Surrency and Atlanta United director of methodology Javier Pérez set the tone, along with a conversation with two-time World Cup referee Matthew Conger on what it takes to officiate on the biggest stage. Then Kevin Egan, voice of MLS on Apple TV, joins the show fresh off a busy World Cup week. He's hosting the FIFA Fan Festival at Centennial Olympic Park and co-owns the Irish Exit, opening this weekend in Centennial Yards. Kevin shares his World Cup picks, with a potential negative surprise, gives two players to watch, and picks ______ to lift the trophy (no spoilers here, listen to the episode). Jason closes with the 3-4-3: three surprise teams, four players who will define the tournament, and his predictions for top three finishers in this summer's tournament. Stoppage Time goes deep on group-by-group rooting interests, a full schedule breakdown for the opening weekend, and a few packs of Panini stickers to send everyone off right.

Less than 48 hours from kickoff and the World Cup is already delivering. Jason Longshore breaks down the pre-tournament storylines: Lionel Messi scoring a penalty at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn as Argentina cruised past Iceland, a chaotic US women's win in Brazil that ended with red cards raining down on the Brazilian bench, and the controversy surrounding Somali referee Omar Arten being denied entry into the United States. Jason also covers the managerial carousel in Spain with José Mourinho heading back to Real Madrid and Marco Silva taking over at Benfica, Atlético Madrid's very entertaining response to Real Madrid's 150 million euro bid for Julián Álvarez, and England's women heading to the playoffs despite winning five of six qualifiers. Then Madison Crews and Sofia Cupertino join for a Panini World Cup sticker pack opening, plus a preview of where the crew will be for the opening days of the tournament.

Use code "SCI" at arenaclub.comDid Panini use Artificial Intelligence to write the backs of their new sports cards? The new Panini Signature Series basketball set features player descriptions that are so poetic and absurd that many collectors are convinced they were generated by AI. Dr. James Beckett shares (very poor, apologies!) audio from a wide-ranging hobby dinner conversation at the Watters Creek Show discussing how to broaden sports card collecting across race, gender, and socioeconomic lines by “planting seeds” through outreach and welcoming environments. The group notes increased diversity and more female collectors, considers barriers like storage space, access, and rising prices, and points to entry points such as affordable retail products, low-cost packs, and Panini soccer stickers. They debate how breaks, allocations, and day-one FOMO affect affordability and wax pricing, and highlight direct-to-consumer models like Upper Deck ePack and on-demand platforms such as Whatnot. The conversation also contrasts the magic of blind pack opening with deterministic buying, touches on complete sets as a low-cost onramp for kids, and mentions growing athlete participation in collecting. 00:33 Growing a Diverse Collector Base 03:19 Meritocracy and Inclusion 03:41 Global Hobby Seed Planting 05:48 Prices and Entry Barriers 07:31 Stickers and Cheap Entry 08:40 Breaks and Staircase Strategy 10:26 Breaker Economics and FOMO 13:09 ePack and On Demand Buying 13:59 Is Convenience Killing Magic 15:39 Complete Sets and Kid Collecting
