It's Round 38 of the English Premier League. Liverpool have already confirmed their title and Arsenal have all but guaranteed a third consecutive runner's up position. Southampton, Ipswich Town, and Leicester City have confirmed their spots in next season's EFL Championship following relegation from the Premier League. Crystal Palace and Newcastle have won the domestic cups, the FA Cup and EFL Cup, respectively. All that is left to hash out is who will be in which European Competitions next season. Manchester City, Newcastle, Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest all have a chance to qualify for the UCL. This makes the Chelsea trip to Nottingham Forest such an interesting match-up for the final round of games. Southampton accomplished the only thing left for them in this season's league campaign, getting above 11 points and the shared title of 'worst ever season' that accompanies that point total. A game that looked like a mountain to climb was just that, as the deposed champions Manchester City dominated the game but failed to find the goal that would have won the game. Chelsea were hoping that their good form would carry them in their match against another team hot on the trot, Newcastle. Unfortunately, their hopes for Champions League football were dashed as Newcastle took all three points. Forest also dropped points as they suffered a late draw against already relegated Leicester. After Liverpool wrapped up the championship last weekend against Spurs, the question coming into Round 35 would be if the fierce Liverpool from the totality of the season would surface or would they take their foot off the gas. As the dust settled on the weekend, and Chelsea were victorious against the Champions, it would indicate that Liverpool took the weekend off. Southampton also failed to cash in on their best opportunity to overtake Derby County's record for least points scored in the Premier League history. Fellow EFL Championship side, Leicester, were 2-0 winners against the EPL'd minnows. Arsenal's defeat against Bournemouth leaves 2nd place wide open for the chasing pack, could Arsenal slip out of the Champion's League qualification spots? Let us know in the comments below. With only four games left in their Premier League season, Southampton have the chance to become the joint worst ever team in the history of the top flight of English football. Should Southampton fail to pick up a point in their last four games, they would equal Derby County's dubious performance from the 2007/2008 season. A match against Leicester might represent their best opportunity to get a point, as fellow relegated club Leicester are on a terrible run of form. After 34 games in the 38 game season, Liverpool have dethroned Manchester City and are the 2024/2025 Premier League Champions. A season that started with Liverpool being a dark horse, in what most believed would be a third consecutive battle between City and Arsenal, has seen Liverpool overcome all obstacles to be crowned champions. This week, RCR welcomes Jimmy to help break down this monumental feat and brag on the Red's as they celebrate their second Premier League title and record tying 20th first division title. This is the weekend that the Premier League could be won by Liverpool. After Arsenal failed to win against Crystal Palace midweek, a single point will crown Liverpool title champions. A face off against beleaguered Tottenham at Anfield could see the Red's win their second Premier League Title (though, their 20th first division title). In the cup, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa face off in the first semifinal while Nottingham Forest and Manchester City face off in the second. Conventional wisdom would put City as the odds favorite to win the Cup, but in the Cup anything is possible. After a thrilling mid week slate of fixtures, the EPL returns with the Manchester Derby. In a relatively strange circumstance surrounding this fixture, neither teams are - at this point - playing for the title. United will look to add three points to try and salvage their miserable season and City will hope to qualify for next season's Champions League. A fixture with relegation implications between Ipswich and Wolves could allow Ipswich to hold onto a glimmer of hope, or essentially relegate them with a loss. Villa and Forest both hold hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League, a win for Forest would go a long way in securing that for them. In what is the most grueling five game stretch of their season, Liverpool's fourth game in this stretch takes them to the Etihad to face last seasons Champion Manchester City. Should Slot's men prevail in this match, tanking all three points, they will maintain their lead over chasing Arsenal and put one of the toughest challenges remaining on their schedule behind them. A day earlier, Arsenal will meet West Ham at home in a London Derby. Arteta's men can heap extra pressure on Liverpool by winning and cutting the gap to just five points. Chelsea head to Villa park to try and stabilize their challenge for a top four finish while Aston Villa look to do the exact same. in they dying embers of the final Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park, Everton snatched a last gasp equalizer to deny Liverpool the opportunity to take all three points. Liverpool will feel aggrieved as the goal was scored in the 8th minute of what was supposed to be a minimum of five minutes of time added on. Elsewhere, City rolled over Newcastle with a first half hat-trick from a new signing and finished the game with clean sheet and a goal from the academy. Chelsea lost for a second time in a week to Brighton and Spurs and Arsenal both won. Dale Earnhardt Jr. kicks off the Download season with a bang by welcoming back NASCAR Hall of Fame car owner Richard Childress to the Dirty Mo Media studio. After what was essentially a hometown race for Childress at Bowman Gray Stadium, the two were eager to talk about the Clash and their impressions of the NASCAR Cup Series returning to the legendary venue. Childress explains that he showed up early on Sunday to sit and reflect on the beginning of his racing career, which dates back to the “claim” division at the football stadium when he was in his teens. In anticipation of his debut as Cup car owner, Dale Jr. asks Richard for any advice leading into the Daytona 500, to which he replies to keep following the dream. Dale and Richard talk about RCR working with Kyle Busch and how they were able to put their past drama behind them to find on-track success. Dale also inquires about Austin and Ty Dillon's roles at the company and what the future may hold for them beyond the driver's seat. They chat about the ongoing lawsuit between 23XI/Front Row Motorsports & NASCAR and what the other teams hope to gain in the new charter agreement. The conversation also covers Kasey Kahne's upcoming Xfinity race with RCR, how Richard got the number 3, and his brief history working as a stuntman.

This week is Steph's birthday, so in honor of her love for Mr. Bean, the boys decided to pair it in a 'Seeing Double' with another bumbling, accident prone European. A weekend full of matches after a European midweek sees last season's champions travel to last season's runners up. While Arsenals title challenge for this season is ongoing, City's has yet to take off; a win at the Emirates would jump start their beleaguered league season. High flying Bournemouth host current league leaders Liverpool. One of the most dangerous grounds to go to for opposition this year, Liverpool will look to avoid the same fate that Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester City faced when they traveled to the south coast. A London derby sees Chelsea welcome back former first team coach, Graham Potter's new outfit, West Ham United. Check all this out on this weeks preview of the Premier League on RCR. In a week that had lots on the line in the Premier League, Arsenal were handed a tough blow in the first half against Wolves. An erroneous red card saw the Gunners have to play the game down a man until an erroneous yellow card (a foul that should have seen straight red) saw the playing field return to parity. The Arsenal finally found the break through and won the match, saving a result that could have easily gotten away from them due to a very poor refereeing decision. Bournemouth continued their impressive run as they put five past visitors Nottingham Forest. Chelsea tasted defeat against City and Spurs dropped yet another game, this time against stragglers Leicester City. Check out this week's review of Round 23. As the calendar tips back over to January and the new year begins, the Premier League teams are welcomed with open arms into the FA Cup. The Third Round Proper is where the posh boys waltz in to. Across 32 matches, only two of those matches are comprised of all EPL teams. Aston Villa welcome West Ham United to Villa Park on Friday and Arsenal host Manchester United at the Emirates on Sunday. The Sunday fixture sees the current holders, United, face off against bitter rivals and the club that has the most ever FA Cups, Arsenal. Interestingly enough, if United win this iteration of the FA Cup they will equal Arsenal's total of 14 cups. The other big boys in the EPL all have lower division opposition, will any of them be upset this weekend? Check out this week's episode of RCR. In another week where Spurs squander a lead, questions are being asked of their outlook for the remainder of the season. If Spurs continue to meander around the middle of the table, will Ange Postecoglou survive to the end of the season? According to Brad, Chelsea's short lived title challenge has now concluded. In a run of form that earned The Blues only one point out of nine, Chelsea look like they're still going through growing pains. Check out this week's review of the EPL on Red Card Radio. Denny Hamlin dives deep into the controversy surrounding Martinsville with co-host Jared Allen. Denny breaks down the dynamics between JGR, 23XI, and the Chevy teams, exploring how alliances impact on-track decisions and contribute to tension in the Playoff structure. He also explains why banning point discussions over in-car audio won't solve the issue, and shares his thoughts on how the current Playoff format hinders the rise of true superstars in the sport. As for his own Playoff hopes, Denny reflects on coming up short this season but remains confident about future championship opportunities. Meanwhile, Ryan Blaney secured a dramatic walk-off win at Martinsville, earning his spot in the Championship 4 for the second year in a row.Amidst all this, Goodyear's new tires made their debut, and Denny gives his thumbs up on the performance improvements.
