HR3 - Falcons can get two highly graded pass rushers in first two rounds if they want In hour three Abe, Mike, and Beau spend some time with NFL Network Analyst and former Vice President of Player Evaluation for the New York Giants Marc Ross! Abe, Mike, Beau, and Marc discuss if Marc thinks there's going to be any surprises in the NFL Draft this year, how Marc feels about Marshall Edge rusher Mike Green as an NFL edge rusher, if Marc thinks a great defensive back can have just as much or a greater impact on a defense as a good pass rusher can, which pass rushers will provide good value as second round picks, how Marc feels about Shedeur Sanders as an NFL quarterback, if there's a quarterback that's not being talked about enough that could be a diamond in the rough, if Marc ever let public and fan perception dictate or influence draft picks when he was a player evaluator in the NFL, and how much general managers, player evaluators, and scouts take stats into player evaluations, or if it's just all about what the players put on film. Next, Mike, Beau, and Abe discuss if Marshall edge rusher Mike Green would be a good pick for the Atlanta Falcons at 15 overall, and also talk about whether or not they think James Pearce Jr. may be a good second round gamble for the Falcons if he falls to the Falcons second round pick at 46 overall. The guys also continue to recap and react to the Atlanta Braves winning their fourth straight game after a five-run eighth inning helps them beat the St. Louis Cardinals 7-6 last night. Mike, Beau, and Abe also continue to react to the news that Spencer Strider strained his right hamstring while playing catch yesterday afternoon at Truist Park, and was placed on the 15-day injured list after informing the Braves he would be unable to make his scheduled start against the Cardinals today. The guys also continue to react to the Atlanta Hawks announcing that they will begin the search for a President of Basketball Operations and have hired Sportsology Group, a leading provider of strategic advisory and operational support in the sports industry, to direct the process. Mike, Beau, and Abe also continue to react to the team also announcing that Landry Fields has been relieved of his duties as general manager, and that Onsi Saleh has been promoted to general manager of the Atlanta Hawks. The guys also discuss whether or not they think the Hawks can win a championship with Trae Young as their best player, and explain why they think Landry Fields didn't get a fair shake as the Hawks' General Manager.
