Pastor Andrew reminds us that no matter how poor our choices have been, God offers us forgiveness and restoration... most times when and where we least expect it.

On the last night of Passover week all is not quiet in Jerusalem. The rooster goes out to a place where he looks for olives to eat and finds the disciples sleeping and Jesus praying. He wakes up when loud soldiers grab Jesus and all the disciples, even Peter, run away. Peter is afraid and denies Jesus three times. The rooster crows desperately, twice.

Please welcome our guest speaker, Pastor Funwayo He comes to us from Medway Village Church in Medway. Massachusetts and will be sharing the word that God has impressed upon his heart----When the rooster crows it is time to get things right.- God wants a living and dynamic relationship in which he molds and forms us with his words. There are times we do not hear him, and he wakes us up to hear what he is saying He has many reminders for us. Peter became the leader for his friends after he got awakened by the crowing of a rooster.--What are the reminders you are missing in your life- Is God leading and speaking to you, but you can't hear- Pay attention to the roosters in your life.

Early Friday morning, Jesus is facing a trial that will condemn him to death. Most of his disciples have scattered, but a couple of his companions follow to see what their teacher will become. Peter is nearby and is recognized by several in the crowd as an associate of the Nazarene Jesus. Peter adamantly denies it, just as Jesus said would happen before day breaks. There are many takeaways from this Good Friday story. Pastor Philip leads us through this story on today's devotionable. Devotionables #302: Before the Rooster Crows Jesus's Final Week
Lent has taught us how attached we are to the pleasures and treasures of this world. We are not unlike the disciples. I will show you why Jesus succeeded where we have all failed. He will help your Lent to end well.
Mark is the shortest of the gospels, but it still packs a big punch. I like to say that Mark is mysterious and magnificent. My English teacher would be proud of such alliteration. I'm excited to jump into the last of the four gospels on our podcast series. If you'd like to check out the previous series on the gospels of Matthew, Luke and John, head over to 10WeekBible.com and check out the archives. As always, I want to encourage you to read through the book of Mark once a week for the next ten weeks as we go through this book. You will be amazed at how much more you get out of God's Word by filling your mind with it on repeat over the next two and a half months. -----------LINKS---------- Support 10WB on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/10weekbible The 10 Week Bible - http://www.10WeekBible.com Twitter: @DarrenHibbs - https://twitter.com/DarrenHibbs Sign up for my newsletter - http://www.darrenhibbs.com Get a copy of the 10 Week Bible Study today - https://www.amazon.com/Darren-Hibbs/e/B00B4I47CE/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=sl2&tag=darrenhcom0a-20&linkId=401f3d79974c70929517936977e32df9 My other YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChUU0XHSHuhSyN8qk-7efYg
