Ultimately, the doctrine of the Bible boils down to the question of its reliability and authority. As I said last week, if we can’t trust ALL of Scripture, how can we trust any of it? That’s why it is vital to be clear on what it means for God to inspire the biblical writers so that what they wrote are in fact the words of God Himself. That is our basis for the truthfulness, trustworthiness, and authority of the Bible. In this sermon, I'll unpack the implications of believing the that Bible is the Inspired Word of God.

How important is the “preaching of the word” to you? In 2 Timothy 4:1-5 the Apostle Paul highlights why it is an absolute necessity that the Scriptures are taught and the mindset and manner for doing so.

Why does preaching have such prominence in the worship service?
Is it really possible for a person to “unfollow” Jesus? The Bible states that “in latter times some will depart from the faith…” What does that mean and are there other indicators that help us better understand this statement? Pastor Chad will take us through 1 Timothy 4:1-9 and unpack the truth found in this text. The result has eternal ramifications, so it’s important to know the truth. Share with a friend.

Learning to cling to Sound Doctrine in these last days
Feeling stressed? Discouraged? Beaten down? We’re currently living in an extraordinarily difficult time. We are all feeling it, and we need to be RESILIENT - bend but not break. Get knocked down but get back up again. We need strength for the daily grind.

2 Timothy talks about a time when men will not endure sound doctrine. We are seeing this pattern that has been going on for several years, and it keeps getting worse. Good has become evil and evil has become good. Churches are becoming weak, and they are adopting new philosophies. All of this is leading toward men turning away from the gospel and God. There is only one way to be saved, and the Devil's doctrine is not it.

Every preacher has a pulpit. Not a pulpit made of wood, stone, or glass, but made of their life.

Paul warns of the draw into false teaching that will capture many in the end times. If false doctrine will be welcomed and accepted so widely in the church, how can we make sure we don't or that we haven't already? You don't have to wonder or be afraid. Paul isn't trying to scare anyone, just give them a warning to be aware. So, how do we become "False Teaching Proof?"

What we see today is that our commitment to, and preaching of, God's Word is to be the centerpiece is a faithful Christian ministry. There is a responsibility here for the man of God, but there is also a responsibility for the church.

Even when we are surrounded by those who reject the truth in favor of feel-good messages, we can be clear-minded and always ready to share the gospel, for Jesus is coming soon as Judge and King.

Pastor Mike welcomes the new year by discussing the Heart of what Center Point Assembly is about beginning with the heart of a Pastor. And then focusing on what it means to be the "church" as defined by Christ to be the "body of believers" or the "Body of Christ". Good questions are brought up about what it means to be committed to the body and what that looks like. Did Jesus think the church was important? Listen in to find out and then ask yourself the questions raised...

The Church has tended to adopt a mission of AGAINST…calling out sin, rendering judgments, overseeing and approve repentance, and maintaining the “sign-up list”. This is NOT our mission!! Discover in this message how the Kingdom of God makes a difference in modern culture.

This is the weekly Radio Broadcast of the Gospel Baptist Church, Burns, TN, Pastor Jimmy Moize. His message for this week is entitled; Therefore, Preach!
Old school Evangelism is a thing of the past. Pastor Joshua shares what God wants to do now through his people in the area of evangelism. Not every believer is an evangelist, but every believer is to do the work of an evangelist. When you begin to understand the creative ways God wants to do evangelism, doors of opportunity will be open to share the gospel in a non-threatening way. (Sorry about the sound quality, its the feed back off the sound board which I tried to clean up best as possible.)
