When you practice non-reactivity for a while certain things may start to happen to you. You may start to see the silliness in all of your thoughts and emotions. You may start to notice how uncontrollable they really are things like this. This is one thing we will be talking about in this episode.
Today I discuss two of my favorite qualities in life, curiosity, and play. I share one of my most memorable and beautiful s*xual moments in life. One of the first times I really brought that element into the bedroom with, we shall call him, Mr. X, and I speak to how transformative it was. I cover the wounded masculine and how that has impacted our views on curiosity and ways we can shift the behavior to be in our favor, I also discuss how Masculine and Feminine Energies play into curiosity and play, and share some common misconceptions around passion and polarity. I can't wait to hear what you think. I had a ton of fun with this one.1:30 A Night with MR. How many devices do we buy that are made for what we do? Honestly so many of them actually have a normal device they are based off, and are cheaper or more reliable. Most are total crap and don't amount to anything but making you look silly. Audio is a little poor for some reason may need to turn it up
Cindy's back! A draft happened, the Utah Royals selected three players. With the 23rd pick, Michelle Maemone from Pepperdine. The 27th pick, Maddie Nolf out of Penn State, and Alexandra Kimball from North Carolina as the 32nd pick. We talk a bit about these players and what we think they bring to the table. In terms of the draft, we finish with the winners and losers of the draft. More important than the draft itself, we talk about that while the league salary cap is at an all time high this year, the max salary cap is still lower than the MLS minimum. Additionally, we rant about some of the more recent drama from the Sky Blue catastrophe, the whole situation is ridiculous. Welcome to Nooks and Crannies! Episode 6: The Kinship of Neuro Anti-Inflammation This week the Evan and Matt kick things off by talking about a Spit Take Matty made a few months back after winning a trip for two to Vegas. The intro was recorded before he left, now he is back and Matty feels like he has been poisoned, so … good trip! J Matty (aka: Edward James Almos) informs Evan (aka; 1987 era Lou Diamond Phillips) that he has class which can only mean that it is the inception of ANTHRO 101 (6:41)!! Just one segment, to get your feet wet, we cover: “what the heck is anthropology?” (8:20) and “how in goodness gracious’ name does one do it??” (11:30) and a little bit on the wider philosophical debates (18:10). After this tantalizing anthropological discussion, we hear the second and last half of the interview that Matt did with Amy Longard, an Ottawa-based whole-food specializing nutritionist; all about concussion nutrition (22:00), anti-inflammation strategies that are not just a fad (25:30) and some of her views how to incorporate nutrition into our own overall wellness strategies (37:45). I wanted to end the chat with some specifics about Women’s health and nutrition, which like all topics of our conversation dovetailed into an interesting side talk on the Care-Taker role and women’s socially ascribed gender roles (40:35). Had a fascinating time talking with Amy, be sure to follow her on social, visit her website and sign-up for her newsletter for all sorts of interesting information and recipes *it’s free eh! Next week: We hear all about Phrenology and Eugenics-Darwinian Anthropology from the late 1800’s-plus a full run down on Matty’s Vegas-inspired debauchery and maybe a Great Chocolate Bar Debate with Paul Cosmo Csomo, co-host of the much more successful Varmints Podcast Talk to Y’ALL Soon :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Our Links: Archive of Episodes Tell Evan to re-admin his Pony-Tail: nooksandcranniespod@gmail.com See Matt Back-peddle his Comments on FB Watch Evan’s Sillyness on Insta: @nooks_and_crannies_pod Graphics by Donna Hume
