On this week's episode of The MacRumors Show, we take a look at the rumored design of the iPhone 17 "Air" and iPadOS 19's major productivity update. We take a closer look at the rumored design of the iPhone 17 "Air," which is expected to introduce a radically thinner design. It is rumored to be as thin as 5.5mm, versus the 8.725mm thickness of the Pro models. It has now emerged that even the buttons will need to be thinner than those used on the other models to simply fit on the device. We also discuss the rumored "Sky Blue" color option for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, which bears a resemblance to the "Sierra Blue" of the iPhone 13 Pro. Sky Blue was first introduced on the M4 MacBook Air earlier this year. Moreover, we talk through the purported "Midnight" colorway for the Apple Vision "Air." Top 10 Colors for T-Shirts, Sweatshirts and Hoodies in 2025 1. Classic WhiteThe perennial and original classic white isn't going anywhere this year. It's a classic for a reason (both style wise and from a technical design base perspective), so expect to see the classic white t-shirt, sweatshirts and hoodies wherever you shop. 2. CoralCoral is an interesting blend of red, orange and even a little pink. It tends to be more muted in tone but can be very light or very deep colored. Coral base shirts can have color names such as Terracotta, Burnt Sierra, Pastel Red or Salmon. 3. Olive GreenThe greens are an interesting color for casual clothing tops and olive green appears to be trending for 2025. Olive Green tends to be one of the warmer toned greens with a slight yellow undertone. 4. Powder BlueAnother trending color for this year, Powder Blue is one of the lighter blue colors. It's in the range of blue-greens if you look at a color palette. It tends to be a pale blue color that is much lighter than a navy blue, for example. Color names light Sky Blue or Light Blue would be in this spectrum, with something like a Baby Blue being a slightly more vibrant variation. 5. RedReds are looking to be popular again in 2025, following up on the trend that saw vibrant reds sell well in 2024. There are many variations of reds, but fiery reds will be a dominant red this year. Fiery red is a bold red, with a reddish orange tone. It can be a great base layer for the right graphic design, especially if you're looking for a statement top. 6. MustardMustard is an interesting color. It's sometimes a love it or hate it color, but for those who love it, it can be a statement piece. Rich and warm in tone, mustard is a yellowish-brown color, closer to a Dijon mustard if you consider the condiment. It can be a light or dark shade. Mustard falls somewhere between yellow and orange on the color spectrum. This will be an interesting trend to watch, because mustard has often been considered one of the least popular colors for graphic t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies. Will 2025 be a breakout year for mustard? 7. LavenderPurple is often a popular color and lavender is a very pale purple shade. It can appear in quite a range of shades and tones for t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies. Lavender is best described as a blue-tinged pale, light gray-purple color. It differs from lilac, for example, which is more pink where lavender is blue. In our shop, you may see lavenders more on dresses and swimwear. 8. Neutral BeigeThe neutrals is a trend that we clearly saw emerging in 2024 and it is expected to continue in 2025. Neutral Beige colors make a great base for graphics and as an option to a plain white top. Where white t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies are more stark in nature, the neutrals add a little more color structure and softness, making them a very popular addition to any wardrobe. Watch for color names like Sand or Natural for this color style. 9. PinkThe pinks were popular in 2024 and we expect to see this continue into 2025, based on all of the data and color predictions that we reviewed. Light or pale pinks, in particular, are what to watch for this year for many of the same reasons that neutral beige will be popular (but with a little more distinction than a true neutral color). 10. Navy BlueNavy Blue is a very popular base color for t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies and will be a go-to choice for a dark colored top in 2025. Since black did not make the trending list for this year, it's clear that Navy Blue is expected to be a solid replacement for anyone looking for a dark colored hoodie or top this year. Navy Blue can appear almost black, but it has just enough tone that it appears as a more elegant and rich option.These are the top 10 trending colors for 2025. I was informed I had a visitor coming up by the name of Libra Chalmers plus a guest. Quickly enough they appeared. The guest turned out to be Brooke Lee."Who are these two?" Aya glibly spoke as the two Vassar girls walked into the room."Hello Libra," I greeted my almost date from last night. "Hello Ms. Lee," I said to Brooke."It's Brooke," Brooke smiled at me; she was hungry and scenting around for something remarkably like me."I'm happy to see you; oh; this is my guardian and protector, Aya Ruger," I made the introductions. "No lie, Aya has been keeping up with my workload while I've been on 'light' duty. Aya, this is Libra Chalmers and Brooke Lee, both from Vassar College. Brooke is Trent's friend and Libra had mercy on me Tuesday night and kept me from being a 'fifth' wheel.""I'm actually Trent's fiancé," Brooke corrected."Fascinating," I lied. Oh fuck, that was Not good."Cool. I'm happy to see the both of you, but what brings you to my office today?" I continued."Well, I showed up to ask for Trent and Libra asked for you," Brooke gave a sly smile."The thing was," Libra picked up the tale, "they were looking up Trent, but the front desk knew exactly who and where you were; so we came here first." My mind was busily working out how to pull Aya aside to give her a friendly warning when Katrina waltzed in."Ladies, this is my boss, Katrina Love, Head of Executive Services for Havenstone," I plastered a smile on my face."Katrina, this is Brooke Lee and Libra Chalmers. I met them Tuesday night," I kept things simple. Doom was impatient."Brooke is Trent's fiancé," Aya chimed in gleefully. She wasn't being malicious. She just didn't know any better. Katrina had been in the process of giving some congenial nods.She stopped and turned on a dime. Damn it."Really?" Katrina's interest was piqued."Yes," Brooke beamed. Katrina resumed her stroll to her desk."Katrina," I started my appeal. My argument was going to be that 'promise' rings didn't really count even though I knew her omission on his survey/application was bad enough already. Brian was different. If he chose to 'follow his career', she'd shed the prerequisite 17 tears and happily get on with her life. Girls like Brooke came looking and that wouldn't do."No," Katrina didn't even turn around. When she got to her desk, the phone calls began. Brooke was starting to realize something had happened. I gained a level of importance that extended beyond my bedroom sexpertise."Cáel, is something wrong?" Libra took my hand in hers."Trent may have neglected to mention some things during his job interview," I explained."Like?" Libra was getting concerned."Like the existence of Brooke," I answered. See, if Trent had written down his acquaintance to Brooke, Havenstone would have investigated her in the same way they investigated my mentor, Dr. Kimberly Geisler. She had admitted to the length, depth and termination of our affair.The issue of her teaching me anything besides sex had never come up."What?" Brooke grew indignant. Not with Trent, but with me. "Only later did I realize I missed him and felt sorry about what I said.""Do you know if they talked to any of his other former girlfriends?" Libra inquired."I am absolutely sure they talked to at least one other person," Marla mumbled. Her Aunt."Who? I need to talk to them," Libra continued."That wouldn't be wise," Marla responded. "Suffice it to say they didn't give a glowing review either." Libra hung up and gave me back my phone."Cáel, do you have a problem with women?" They say you didn't list me as an acquaintance and somehow that's important," Brooke grumbled."I; um; I can explain," Trent was addressing; the room?"Be at peace, Trent," Tessa took over. This was her job and her fuck-up. "We only need your assurance that your relationship with Ms. Lee was terminated before you signed your contract with Havenstone Commercial Investments." Trent was looking for the right answer that would make everyone happy, but there wasn't one.Had he warned me yesterday that Brooke was his lady, I could have warned Brooke to NEVER come here. Trent hadn't done that because it would have necessitated him explaining to Brooke that he had denied her existence in order to get a cushy job. Trent had deluded himself into thinking he could have it both ways, probably because lying had always worked before."I think there has been a misunderstanding," Trent began. In 2009 he was awarded a Grammy for recording and mixing Loudon Wainwright III's record "High Wide & Handsome: The Charlie Pool Project" ("Best Traditional Folk"), then, in 2010 he won his second Grammy for John Legend & The Roots album "Wake Up" ("Best R&B") and in 2018 he won his first Latin Grammy for Pedro Giraudo's “Vigor Tanguero” (Best Tango Album) which he produced, recorded and mixed. Two years later, in 2020 he won his second Latin Grammy for Gustavo Casenave's album “Fuelle y Cuerda” (Best Tango Album) and his third Grammy for his work on the score for the film “Joker” (Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media). He's also been involved in various other Grammy winning and nominated albums such as “Barbie” with Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt, Billie Eilish and Dua Lipa, Maria Schneider's "Sky Blue", John Legend's "Evolver" and the song "Shine," Punch Brother's "The Phosphorescent Blues" as well as the cast albums for the Broadway productions of "Shrek" and "9 to 5" and Yo-Yo Ma's Silk Road Ensemble “Sing Me Home” which he helped produce and record. Life in Focus I gave updates on a few of my 24 for 2024 items #4- Read more books than you did in 2023 (50) well on my way with 10 books in first 2 months of the year. #10- Publish at least one new pattern redid the math and proportions for a shawl I came up with last year. talked to an indie dyer about yarn support #16- go skiing 6 of 24 completely done! On a Happy Note Valentine's Day software upgrade at work went well. I was awake at 2:30a so it was a long day and nothing festive really but it was a good day! We hosted Millie and Hattie for their birthday sleepovers. I took them to the Altitude trampoline park and Panera on Friday night. Saturday morning: Millie and I hiked while Hattie and Dan did a dump run and rode around in the tractor. We all did some crafts together before heading to the movies to see Migration. I tried a new OPI nail color and loved it. It's called "Pink in Bio" I've completed teaching 2 of 4 classes on the OMG Heel at my LYS and we've already got more than half of the class successfully turning heels. I enjoyed a movie night at my Mom's to watch Wonka. Dan and I did a 1000 piece Ford puzzle. I went skiing at Crotched Mountain. Tune in to hear a funny story about Megg's fall. We all had a fabulous time at my cousin Jenny's baby shower. She loved her crochet blanket. I had a lovely visit with my middle-school best friend Maribeth who is very sick. She was inpatient at the hospital where I work and I was able to go up and see her and catch up. I love the daily puzzles from the New York Times- especially Spelling Bee. On the 21st I got every possible word earning me Queen Bee status! My friend Trish gave me a souvenir from a trip she took to New Orleans; she went to a local yarn shop and bought yarn from Louisiana- which I'll definitely knit into socks for her. I worked 13 inches before the sleeves (4 inches longer than called for) Goofed up working on front left. Didn't read the instructions well and I bound off stitches for the underarm on the RS of the piece instead of the WS. Thankfully the rows were very short after that, so ripped back and was able to fix it in less than an hour. Seaming- I seamed the shoulders and then the sides before setting in the sleeve. I should have done it in this order 1) shoulders 2) sleeves, 3) sides. This post from Amy Herzog was helpful re: Setting in Sleeves. Collar- added a row of SC around the collar to make it look a little neater. Finished Project 700g. Loonyhiker shared that when she knits and walks she has a lot of interesting conversations because people are fascinated that she can do it. Deafelis shared the hot tip that Lowes or Home Depot are great places to practice because the aisles are wide and the floors are smooth (so fewer tripping hazards).
