The very conservative Sinclair Broadcast Group (think, further right than FOX News) has bought Tribune for $3.9 billion leaving questions about WGN America’s future and its flagship show “Underground.” Network Renewals/Cancelations: NBC - "Timeless" and "Powerless" canceled. All of Dick Wolf’s Chicago shows (except "Justice") renewed. "Blindspot" has been renewed for a Season 3 and "Taken" renewed for a Season 2. ABC - "Last Man Standing" has been canceled after 6 Seasons. "Scandal" is expected to end after Season 7. "Modern Family" has been renewed for Seasons 9 and 10. CW - "No Tomorrow" and "Frequency" have both been canceled after 1 Season. FOX - “Sleepy Hollow” and “Rosewood” have been canceled.
