“New” TETENAL, two years in: where do they stand, what are they working on? Peter Rasenberger, a major investor and force behind the restructuring of the company, gives us the inside scoop. We were surprised at the direction the conversation took! Beyond individual products, Peter gave us his perspective on why the company was worth saving, and where it fits into what he sees as a likely Post-Digital Era. As you already know I'm starting this series of interviews to document what is going on with this pandemic. We are featuring an array of people from different places in the world, so we get an even picture of what is happening. Full Article on Website. This is big news in Europe, however it has not made a big splash in the US and has flown under our radar. Literally the day after Photokina, Tetenal announced they're in financial turmoil. Due to some bad business practices from their suppliers, Tetenal is in a state of insolvency. We learn while the film resurgence is real, but it is still very fragile. Their collapse could potentially decimate film photography. Don't panic though! They have some ideas in resurrecting some old ideas to bring to consumers and want to hear from the film community for ideas!
