Distance marks the space between two things. This could be physical, emotional, temporal and more. And very often the distance between these two come with a measurement that will determine if the progress in distance was good. Our opinion determines if the distance gained was good, healthy or successful. So as we find ourselves at the start of a New Year, how are you measuring the distance you've achieved? Thanksgiving is a time that often causes is us to slow down and recognize the different things in our lives that we are grateful for. The word when is used frequently in our storytelling and in lines of questioning. It allows us to define, clarify and elaborate. Honoring yourself and your person by allowing your true self to be displayed is the greatest gift you can offer the world around you. We can sometimes feel pulled towards a course of action that cannot be explained. Trying to rationalize the internal sensing or knowing is only natural but often leads to dissonance in our being. We find ourselves pulled into polar opposites trying to accomplish one goal. Our intuition may not always make sense but it's purpose is to serve you and help guide you on your path. Learning to recognize and trust that nudging is the task at hand.
Relationships are hard to come by, so it is understandable that we often stick them out long after they have expired. You could turn a blind eye to these scenarios but have you considered the toxicity of the relationship?
