Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson serves as the President of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, and in that capacity provided the initial draft of Laudato Si prior to the promulgation of the encyclical by Pope Francis. He will lecture on the impact of the encyclical.
