Couch Grouches

We're back!  Finally, Joe watches CHUD!!! We eat Thanksgiving flavored Candy Corn, which is as dreadful as it sounds. We also do a lot of catching up!!!  

Better late than never...

Almost 2 months away! We never posted our last show (not our LAST show, but the last show we did). In this episode, Joe reports on spending the month watching the seminal "classic" Ice Pirates for a month. A MONTH!!! May God have mercy on his soul... (The audio is a little dicey; but hey, it's a pandemic!)

A listener question spawns a 30+ minute answer. So what do you do with that content? Ya make a show with it!!!!

Jim has uncovered a treasure trove of "lost episodes". Tonight, the Grouches listen to "Episode Zero" and comment on it. It's really NSFW, at times far worse than we are actually comfortable with. 

Another fun show. The Grouches talk life and such, and then start drafting a starter D&D dungeon. What will it contain? Listen to find out... News and a really good listener mail section included. 

We went in to this episode with a specific topic in mind, and ended up going off on a few very interesting tangents. Before long, we had ourselves 2 good hours of compelling content (if we do say so ourselves) consisting of several topics, such as politics, children, Mandalorians, model trains, etc. Plus we get a Tomb of Horrors update, and finally someone asks Jim how HIS day was for once (spoilers: it was Gonzo who asked and the week wasn't that great). Maybe we'll cover an actual topic next week.

We planned on watching the Mandalorian. While that happened, the show begins with a really good retelling of the Tomb of Horrors D&D adventure, all from Gonzo's memory (it's kinda scary...)

The Grouches finish up the Halloween Movie series with 1988's Pumpkinhead.

The Boys Watch The Howling 2. We blame Sarah.    Have Fun!!!

It's that time of year again! For the next few weeks, The Grouches will be watching movies. What kind of movies, you ask? Really anything Halloween, Horror, Monster Movies, stuff like that!   For this week's episode, Joe and Gonzo indulge Jim as he shares with them a movie that he knew was horrible when he was nine years old and STILL wants to subject them to; 1980's The Children. It's me: Gonzo... You know, the loveable scamp? Jim's not here, but somehow I figured out how to make this computer thingy do the recording, and Joe did too. So, since Jim isn't here, we talked about Anime. For 2 and a half hours, for some reason. I'm good at descriptions.
