In this episode of Half Hour, we discuss the 2026 Broadway revival of The Rocky Horror Show, now playing at Studio 54. Directed and choreographed by Sam Pinkleton and starring Luke Evans as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, the production revisits the cult classic with a renewed focus on theatricality, audience interaction, and design. We take a deeper dive into how this revival balances its original counterculture roots with a contemporary Broadway framework. From the staging choices that make full use of Studio 54 to the evolving role of audience call-backs, we break down what's working, what feels different, and how the experience compares to both the original stage production and the film adaptation. We also discuss standout performances, including Evans' interpretation of Frank-N-Furter, and how the ensemble supports the show's tone. Along the way, we look at the show's cultural legacy, its continued relevance, and how this revival positions itself within today's Broadway landscape. If you've seen The Rocky Horror Show before or are considering this production, this episode offers a closer look at what to expect and why this revival is generating conversation. It's built in the quiet, ordinary ones that shape how we show up every day.Across my life and work, one pattern has stayed consistent, especially amongst high achievers. When we're under pressure, we work harder. Try more. Push through. But without understanding what's actually driving the challenge, at the level of belief and biology, that effort creates a disconnect. Over time, it shows up as burnout, disengagement, and corporate values nobody really believes in.I'm a resilience coach and facilitator, and Founder of Emotive Work. My work has taken me through leadership and advisory roles, building businesses, living and working internationally, and supporting leaders and teams through periods of change and uncertainty. Along the way, I've seen what happens when capable people are expected to cope without the tools, language, or systems to support them. That experience shaped my purpose. Helping individuals and organizations understand that culture is behaviour repeated, resilience is biology before behaviour, and belief is what makes purpose work. When those layers are aligned, people don't just perform better. They feel better, and the work becomes more sustainable for everyone.Today, I work with leaders and teams to build resilient, purpose-led cultures grounded in how humans actually function. Not through quick fixes or wellbeing initiatives, but through everyday practices that support regulation, connection, and accountability.Because real change doesn't come from big ideas alone. It comes from small, repeatable moments, done well, over time.If you're noticing your people are struggling more than they should, or your culture isn't helping you grow, the work starts here.

It's less than a week to go until opening night for the cast of the Rocky Horror Show on Broadway and Luke Evans who plays Dr. Frank-N-Furter is ready to march out on stage in his fishnets and 7 inch platform heels.  “I think I enjoy the process of tech…because you still have the license and the freedom to try things and change things up,” says Evans, “but if we open tomorrow, I feel very, very good about what we have.”“I feel giddy,” echos director Sam Pinkleton. “Always with live theater, you could tinker until death…And at a certain point you have to be like, "Pencils down." And I think with this show especially, I mean, we've had such a good time making it.” The duo joined guest host Marley Marius, Vogue's Senior Editor, Features & News on The Run Through podcast to talk about their collaboration in Rocky Horror Show on Broadway. Recently, the cast photographed for Vogue by Norman Jean Roy and styled by Tonne Goodman. The photo shoot took place on the first day that the ensemble met each other. “I'm not just saying this because I'm on the Vogue podcast. Tonne and Norman got it on a molecular level,” explains Pinkleton. “And I was like, oh, it's like the DNA of the thing… That shoot set a path for making the show in a way that I didn't totally expect.” And while the cast prepares for opening night, Pinkleton has also started working this week with Maya Rudolph as she is set to take over the titular role in the hit play ‘Oh Mary!'"You know, when Cole [Escola] and I were first making “Oh, Mary!”, we were like, 'Well, no one will ever play this part other than Cole.' I mean, no one could really do it other than, I don't know, like Maya Rudolph." So we're really eating our words now,” says Pinkleton who sees parallels between the two shows. “Mary Todd Lincoln is such an amazing character. There's no one like her…Much like Dr. Frank-N-Furter.” says Pinkleton. “She is a character who is largely misunderstood by the world. Who knows that she contains greatness. Who wants to show the world and the audience all of the things she's capable of…Much like Dr. Frank-N-Furter.”The Run-Through with Vogue is your go-to podcast where fashion meets culture. Tanks, the longest runway ever, and one perfect (albeit pants optional) trilogy. We're celebrating our 2nd anniversary with what might just be the greatest bad movie we've ever covered. That's right — after Fast and Furious got us started two years ago, and Fast Five blew our minds at our 1-year anniversary, we're closing out Justin Lin's perfect trilogy with Fast and Furious 6 (or as it's known in the actual movie: Furious 6).This is peak Fast and Furious. A tank on a highway. The longest runway in cinema history. Vin Diesel catching Letty in mid-air. Luke Evans being absolutely perfect as Owen Shaw. Gina Carano with a Han Solo gun. Shea Whigham getting his nose broken again. And practical stunts that put modern CGI-fests to shame. We learned that Letty can't remember anything (but knows one thing about herself). That Owen Shaw has a code, and it's precision. That the Rock is very, very shiny. That this might actually be better than Fast Five. And that after watching the credits roll, Greg literally shed a tear.Justin Lin delivers a masterclass in action filmmaking — with seven different vignettes happening simultaneously during that insane plane sequence, all perfectly edited together by a team that deserved Oscar nominations. The direction is flawless, the stakes feel real (they actually lose battles!), and somehow a movie about stealing a component for a weapon that can blind a country's military for a day makes perfect emotional sense. Is this the high watermark for the franchise? Absolutely. Is it borderline ridiculous? Yes. Is it objectively terrible but undeniably pleasurable? Without question. Did Greg think to himself an hour in, “this might be the best movie I've ever seen in my life”? He's not joking. This three-movie run (Fast and Furious → Fast Five → Furious 6) is some of the best action movie storytelling you'll ever see, and we're honored to cap off two years of Great Bad Movies with the conversation that needed to happen about this film. Also: Drinking Games (tire squeals, glass breaks, and Vin Diesel's lip flare), Very Important Questions, Joe's Real Back of the Box, what album this movie is, and why both of us think this might be the greatest bad movie ever made.If you'd like to advertise with us or sponsor us, please e-mail greatbadmoviesshow@gmail.comSubscribe to Great Bad Movies wherever you listen to podcastsMore Great Bad Movies online:InstagramGreat Bad Movies WebsiteYouTubeEmail us at greatbadmoviesshow@gmail.com Hosted on Acast. Welcome back to another week of BEHIND THE LENS! This week, we're taking a look at WORLDBREAKER, an apocalyptic, action-oriented, sci-fi, creature feature with a dad and daughter dynamic that is told from the perspective of a young teenage girl, directed by BRAD ANDERSON. Described as a pulse-pounding sci-fi action thriller about survival, sacrifice, and a young woman's fight to step out of the shadows and into the war she was born to face, we encounter this apocalyptic world at a time of war following "The Stitch", a rift in the earth that released the Breakers, monsters that infect and twist their victims. There are also the Hybrids, the term for infected humans when attacked and injured by the Breakers. Men succumbed first to the Breakers, leaving women to lead the fight. Willa's mother is one of the war's fiercest warriors. Her father, a battle-scarred veteran not yet infected by the monsters, hides with Willa on a remote island, training her to survive. Their fragile peace is shattered when a mysterious girl drifts ashore. Willa, longing for connection, shelters her in secret—until the truth emerges and danger follows. With Breakers closing in, Willa must rely on her father's training and her own courage to survive. As I mentioned, WORLDBREAKER is directed by Brad Anderson and written by Joshua Rollins, and stars Luke Evans, Billie Boullet, and Milla Jovovich, with the bulk of the film carried by Evans and Boullet as Dad and daughter Willa. For Brad, WORLDBREAKER is another exploration of the space where genuine emotion and genre tension meet—what he calls the yin and yang of heart and horror….and with this film, he finally got to do a creature feature! http://eliasentertainmentnetwork.com

This movie is exactly what you think it is. (And exactly the kind of movie we'll be watching in our livestreams very soon.) But maybe, just maybe, our watching it "together" will make it that much better.   Love and Rockets, Corey and Joe ------------------ If you'd like to show your support for members of WGA, SAG, IATSE, as well as other workers in the entertainment industry, please take a look at the link below and maybe make a donation: Entertainment Community Fund https://entertainmentcommunity.org/support-our-work ------------------ As always, and maybe even more than ever, here are some mental health resources for North America: United States  https://www.mentalhealth.gov/get-help/immediate-help https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org/ The Suicide Hotline phone number has been changed. Wirework lover and wife guy Paul W.S. Anderson tries his hand at an adventure classic with 2011's The Three Musketeers! How is he going to find a way to add Matrix fights, laser traps and exploding airships into this one? Starring Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, Orlando Bloom, Mads Mikkelsen, Chrisoph Waltz, and, you guessed it, Milla Jovovich. After a successful heist in Venice, the musketeers and Milady manage to steal Leonardo la Vinci's famous airship plans. Athos (Matthew Macfadyen) uses his classic scuba ninja skills, Aramis (Evans) his Assassin's Creed cloak-wearing skills, and Porthos (Stevenson) his getting into prison on purpose skills. However, tragedy strikes when Milady, with the help of the Duke of Buckingham (Bloom) betrays the team and steals the plans for the duke. One year later, D'Artagnan (Logan Lerman) is a Gascon bumpkin heading to the big city to start duels with everyone he meets. After picking a fight with Rochefort (Mikkelsen), the best swordsman in France, he picks fights with the 2nd-4th best swordsmen in France: the Three Musketeers. But they become friends anyway, and engage in a highly bastardized version of the book's plot in order to thwart the evil plan of Cardinal Richelieu (Waltz). Will the team accomplish whatever they were trying to do? Will they integrate a bunch of 2010s style 3D elements? Will an airship be shot at by an even bigger airship? You'll just have to listen to find out!

Dracula may never stay dead, but his film incarnations sure evolve—or devolve—across decades. In this episode, Kyle Olson guides Pete Wright, Kynan Dias, and Tommy Metz III through three flavors of Dracula: Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992), Dracula 2000, and Dracula Untold. They dig into Coppola's sweaty gothic melodrama, where Oldman chews the scenery and Keanu Reeves gets chewed out. Then it's on to Dracula 2000, where Gerard Butler's vampire has some serious history, and finally Dracula Untold, where Luke Evans broods his way through a Marvel-ified antihero origin story. The team debates: Is Dracula sexy? Is he even supposed to be? Is he best as a metaphor for carnal desire, theological vengeance, or medieval honor? Incheon took a one-nil lead into the break, and even though Suwon talked about making a fast start to the second half, Incheon struck again, inside four minutes. Suwon rallied and closed the gap with a 65th minute response, but ultimately Byun Sung-hwan's team were left to rue poor finishing and some dreadful defending. But with good reason. The first round robin fixtures are done, and now that the dust has settled, Luke joins the show to discuss Incheon United's near-perfect start to the season. The leaders have opened up a big gap at the summit having dropped just five points thus far.   Andrew looks back on a typically roller-coaster start to the season for the third-placed Suwon Samsung, who missed a huge opportunity last weekend to close the gap on their Gyeonggi-do rivals and jump Seoul E-Land in the table. Before all that, Mike opens up about the life of an Ansan Greeners fan, normally derided in Korean football, but this season showing signs of a welcome improvement.
