Even under dire enemy persecution, the Lord will protect and prosper those who fear him.
A calm and quiet soul is occupied with the LORD and His purposes.
God is a very present help in times of trouble. Three truths that we see in Psalm 46 are; 1. Those who trust in God do not need to fear - God is God, he is working and mighty. 2. We are made glad, truly, the Spirit of God is manifest and working among us, he is making us glad. 3. Our souls can be at peace. We are told by Psalm 46 that our souls can be at peace, because God is truly working all things that come our way for good. We can have peace in times of trouble because we know that God is our fortress.
God wants you to be happy in him forever!
Stay Away, Stay Alert, Stay Assured. The path to victory over the evil, deceptive, and divisive world is marked by wisdom and obedience to the God who reigns supreme.
What shall we say to these things? Paul poses the question and presents the foundation of our faith, and the promises which that foundation is looks to. If God is for us, who can be against us? God, who delivered up his own son, surely will give us all things.
The golden chain of salvation is a foundation laid through Scripture that Christians called by the grace of God can look to for encouragement, building faith, and for gospel fruit to be born in their lives. Those whom God predestined, God also called!
