Marriage is the foundation of all society. However, our culture has abandoned and defiled marriage. This destruction has even crept into the church. But Genesis 24 teaches us that God is faithful in His plan for marriage.
God doesn't change. His words are true. He is completely and totally reliable in every way. While everything else around us changes, there is Someone who does not change. He does not lie, and we can build our lives on His Word, His plan, and His promises. It's a sure deal! The writer of Hebrews said it this way, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever,” (Heb 13:8). This means that GOD is faithful! We can trust Him. What He says is true. What He said He will do, we know He will do. Moses spoke of how God was faithful to bring Israel through to the Promised Land (Dt 7). David said that the faithfulness of God “reaches to the skies,” (Ps 36:5). The prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah both spoke of how faithful God was to them and the nation of Israel. And in our text today, we'll read several times where the Apostle Paul spoke of how faithful God was in it all and through it all. Midnight. That sacred, silent moment when one day ends and another begins—but everything still looks the same. Maybe that's where you are right now. In a midnight season. When the prayers feel unanswered, the promises look delayed, and the silence of heaven feels deafening. But what if your midnight isn't your end… it's the setup for your miracle? In this raw, faith-stirring message, Pastor Travis Hearn unpacks the truth that Every Miracle Has a Midnight. Drawing from the powerful midnight stories of Paul and Silas, Ruth, the Passover, and even Jesus in the tomb, Pastor Travis reminds us that God does His best work in the dark. Midnight is not the absence of movement—it's the hidden hour of preparation. It's the waiting room. The weight room. The battlefield of faith and hope.
Death is an inevitable fact of life in a fallen world. Death is difficult to handle. As Abraham faced the death of his wife, we see God's faithfulness through it all.

God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. [NIV]
Pastor Dean Franklin preaches on God's faithfulness.
Each of us most likely has someone in our life who might be living under a false sense of security about their own eternity. Romans chapter three brings clarity about the future regarding the destination of our soul. Many today have adopted a mindset that says, “I was raised in a Christian home", or “I am a good person,” so “I'm sure I will make it to heaven one day.” Paul speaks to the Jewish people of his day who thought their own righteousness was enough to save them.If you are interested in attending a service or finding out more, please visit us at https://mvcchome.org/If you feel led to support this ministry, then follow this link. https://mvcchome.org/give
Two takeaways from todays program. 1. God is faithful to the faithful and 2. He will not be mocked or tempted without bringing judgment! In these dangerous times we need to be faithful.
Everyone who has been saved by God is being sanctified. God begins the work at the moment of salvation and continues the work until it is fully completed when he raptures the church. The fundamental truth to understanding 1 Thessalonians 5:23-28 is that God is the one who saves and the one who has, and is, and will completely sanctify every believer when he raptures the church. The church is a congregation of people who have been saved and are being sanctified. How are you, as those who have been saved and are being sanctified, to live in the present?Paul concluded his letter with a prayer for sanctification, instructions for living faithfully, and a blessing of grace. All three of which teach how the redeemed are to live in the present.Ben Smith is the pastor of Central Baptist Church, Waycross, GA.This sermon was originally preached on 4/13/2025.Books and downloadable PDFs of Pastor Ben's sermon notes are available at http://bensmithsr.org/resources.For more information on Central Baptist Church, visit www.cbcwaycross.org.
This message explores the story of Moses and the burning bush from Exodus 3, highlighting God's unwavering faithfulness to His promises and His pattern of using passionate individuals for His perfect purposes. We see how God called Moses, despite his past and self-doubt, to lead the Israelite's out of Egypt. This narrative reminds us that God's promises endure through generations and that He often works through unlikely individuals to accomplish His will.
Consider how God’s faithfulness has remained, even in the ugly moments.

Christians are to faithfully wait on the Lord to accomplish His promises in His timing.
God is faithful—through every valley, every trial, every season. This Communion Sunday, Pastor Alex reminded us that God's love never fails, His Word never changes, and His presence never leaves. The Lord is our Shepherd, and when we follow Him, we lack nothing. “Great is Your faithfulness.” – Lamentations 3:23 Will you trust Him, follow His voice, and take the step of faith? Sermon preached by Joshua Ashwill on March 23rd, 2025 on Genesis 21.
The Faith of Christians, Churches, and Nations Can Be Tested and Doubts Arise in Today's World; However, God Is Faithful and Will Not Forsake You MESSAGE SUMMARY: God will never leave you or forsake you. Even when difficulties arise and you are tempted to walk away from your faith, God will not leave you. When you are tempted to doubt God, remember that God is faithful. When the Apostles questioned Jesus about faith and prayer, Jesus told the Apostles, in Mathew 21:21-22, that your faith is powerful and that God will respond to your faith: “And Jesus answered them, ‘Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' it will happen. And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.'”. Hold, unswervingly, to the hope and faith you profess because God, who promised us, is faithful. While you are endeavoring to hold onto your faith in God and Jesus' Gospel, you need to always remember the faithfulness of God, even in those times in which you may be doubting or questioning your faith. Do not give up your faith! TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, fill me with the simple trust that even out of the most awful evil around me, you are able to bring great good — for me, for others, and for your great glory. In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 91). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that because I am in Jesus Christ, I will seek God's perspective on my situation. For I know that in all things God works together for good to those of us who love Him and are called according to His purpose. He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. — Philippians 1:6 I remember a time when everything in my life seemed to be falling apart. I felt like a work in progress that had been abandoned. I began to doubt whether God's promises would be fulfilled in my life. Then a wise mentor reminded me of Philippians 1:6. She shared how God had been faithful in her own life, bringing her through trials and unfinished projects to a place of fulfillment and purpose. Her story gave me hope and renewed my faith in God's ability to complete his work in me. God is not like us; he does not leave things unfinished. When he starts a work in us, he is committed to see it through. The process of transformation and growth can be challenging and slow, but we can trust in God's perfect timing and faithfulness. In self-analysis, I see how God has been at work in my life, shaping me through both triumphs and trials. Every step, whether forward or seemingly backward, has been part of his plan to mold me into the person he created me to be. Today let's take comfort in knowing that God is faithful to complete the work he has started in us. No matter where we are in our journey, we can trust that God is working all things together for our good and to his glory. Dear God, thank you for your faithfulness in our lives. Help us to trust in your timing and process. Strengthen our faith, knowing that you will complete the good work you have begun in us. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Fr. Mike points out why it's important that the tribes of Reuben and Gad agree to fight in Numbers 32 and also reflects on how God knows that his people will be faithless, and yet He remains faithful to them. This is message 25 in the Isaiah series. Isaiah 25:1-12 God's people have always waited for Him, trusting His promises and hoping in His salvation. Isaiah 25 points to the day when that waiting is over—when the Lord reigns in glory, evil is defeated, death is conquered, and all nations gather to worship Him. Jen Drakopoulos knew from an early age that overseas ministry could be a part of her future. As a teenager, she experienced firsthand the impact that healthcare training could have for the Kingdom of God, so she pursued an education in nursing. God has allowed her to use that training for many years, including a decade in community healthcare. In the last several years, God has transitioned Jen to a new country and subsequently, a new ministry. And while that transition is ongoing, Jen is sharing today about the ways she continues to see God's faithfulness, even in the midst of unknowns.

So Much More: Creating Space for God (Lectio Divina and Scripture Meditation)
God’s faithfulness isn’t dependent on our actions; it’s rooted in God’s unchanging character. This meditation on Deuteronomy 7:6-9 reminds us that God is faithful even when we falter. In this passage, we’re reminded that God chose and rescued Israel—not because they were deserving, but because He loved them. In the same way, God chooses and rescues us, not because we deserve it, but simply because of His great love for us. Whatever you’re facing right now, this passage will remind you that God will always be faithful to you. You can trust in His unfailing love, no matter your circumstances. This meditation invites you to reflect on how God has been faithful to you in the past and will create space for you to rest in His faithfulness today. God is faithful. The entire meditation text is as follows: Deuteronomy 7:6-9, NLT 6 For you are a holy people, who belong to the Lord your God. Of all the people on earth, the Lord your God has chosen you to be his own special treasure. 7 “The Lord did not set his heart on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other nations, for you were the smallest of all nations! 8 Rather, it was simply that the Lord loves you, and he was keeping the oath he had sworn to your ancestors. That is why the Lord rescued you with such a strong hand from your slavery and from the oppressive hand of Pharaoh, king of Egypt. 9 Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands Discover more Christian podcasts at lifeaudio.com and inquire about advertising opportunities at lifeaudio.com/contact-us.
