Atlanta • Perth • Abuja • Santiago • Singapore HOPE • ENCOURAGEMENT • CONFIDENCE Christian prayer for hope today • encouragement when life feels difficult • trusting God in uncertain times • finding strength through faith Romans 15:13 (NIV) “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” There are seasons when hope feels easy to hold onto. There are other seasons when hope feels much harder. Not because God has changed. Not because His promises have changed. But because life can sometimes place heavy demands upon the heart. Disappointments happen. Prayers can seem unanswered. Circumstances can take longer to change than we expected. And if we are not careful, today's challenge can begin to speak louder than tomorrow's promise. Yet biblical hope is not built upon circumstances. It is built upon God. Hope is not pretending that difficulties do not exist. Hope is choosing to believe that difficulties do not have the final word. The God who has carried His people through every generation remains faithful today. His power is not diminished. His love is not weakened. His promises are not uncertain. Father, thank You for being the God of hope. Thank You that my confidence rests not in changing circumstances but in Your unchanging character. Jesus, where disappointment has tried to settle into my heart, bring fresh hope. Where weariness has taken hold, bring renewed strength. Where uncertainty has clouded my vision, help me lift my eyes and trust You again. Lord, remind me that You are still working in situations I do not yet understand. Help me resist discouragement and hold firmly to the hope found in Your promises. Let joy, peace, and confidence grow within me as I place my trust in You. Across the world, from Atlanta to Perth, from Abuja to Santiago and Singapore, may hearts discover fresh hope in the God whose faithfulness remains constant through every season. Jesús, llena mi corazón de esperanza hoy. Jesus, enche o meu coração de esperança hoje. Jesus, punuin Mo ang puso ko ng pag-asa ngayon. In Part 66 of our study through Romans, Pastor Byron Chesney examines Romans 15:8-13 and Paul's final teaching on God's plan for both Jews and Gentiles. This message explores Christ's ministry to Israel, the fulfillment of God's promises to the fathers, and the inclusion of the Gentiles in God's redemptive plan. Through a series of Old Testament prophecies, Paul demonstrates that salvation through Jesus Christ was always intended to reach all people. The message concludes with a powerful reminder that true joy, peace, and hope are found only through faith in Christ and the power of the Holy Ghost. Join us as we consider the blessed hope found in "the God of hope."

Send us your feedback — we're listeningRomans 15:13 — Hope Is Still Growing Even If You Cannot See It Recorded live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Charlotte • Sydney • Manila • Buenos Aires • Nairobi HOPE • TRUST • PERSEVERANCE evening prayer for hope • Christian prayer when life feels uncertain • prayer for strength and encouragement • trusting God with the future Romans 15:13 (NIV) “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” As this day begins to draw towards its close, you may be looking back over moments that did not unfold as you hoped. Some prayers may still feel unanswered. Some situations may still seem unchanged. Some questions may still be waiting for clarity. It is often in these moments that hope can feel distant. Yet hope is not measured by what we can immediately see. Hope grows quietly. Hope grows steadily. Hope grows whenever we continue trusting God, even when the full picture remains hidden from view. Father, thank You for bringing me through another day. Thank You for the strength You have already provided, even in ways I may not have fully recognised. Thank You that Your work in my life continues, even when I cannot see every detail. Jesus, help me not to become discouraged by what has not yet happened. Help me not to lose heart over things that remain unresolved. Teach me to trust Your timing, Your wisdom, and Your faithfulness. Lord, where disappointment has settled, bring fresh hope. Where uncertainty remains, bring confidence. Where weariness has appeared, bring renewed strength. Across the world, many people are carrying concerns about tomorrow, about family, about finances, about health, and about the future. From Charlotte to Sydney, from Manila to Buenos Aires and Nairobi, may hearts be strengthened by the assurance that God is still working, still guiding, and still bringing hope into situations that seem unfinished. Jesús, ayúdame a confiar en Ti una vez más. Jesus, ajuda-me a confiar em Ti mais uma vez. Jesus, tulungan Mo akong magtiwala sa Iyo muli. Father, I place my future into Your hands and choose hope over fear. Amen. A genuine move of God will manifest itself in a desire to give and a desire for fellowship. Those who are led by their carnal nature will likewise reveal, through their choices and actions, what they value most. Therefore, accountability in ministry is essential. We are encouraged to stay the course, remaining generous with both our time and resources.

One Year Bible Podcast: Join Hunter and Heather Barnes on the Daily Radio Bible, a daily Bible‑in‑a‑year podcast with 20‑minute Scripture readings, Christ‑centered devotion, and guided prayer. This daily Bible reading and devotional invites you to live as a citizen of Jesus' kingdom, reconciled, renewed, and deeply loved. TODAY'S EPISODE: Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible, where we journey together through the pages of Scripture each day. On this June 3rd episode, Hunter guides us through Proverbs 25-27 and Romans 15, reflecting on wisdom, patience, encouragement, and the centrality of Christ in the Christian life. As we read and pray together, we are reminded that the Bible points us not to itself, but to Jesus—the true living Word and source of hope. Join Hunter for insight, encouragement, and a time of prayer as we discover anew how grace takes the pressure off, and how God's love is the motivation for all we do. TODAY'S DEVOTION: The Scriptures teach us and give us hope and encouragement. It's easy for us, as followers of Christ, to misunderstand the role of the Bible in our lives. We can become so enamored with Scripture that we risk turning it into an end in itself, forgetting its primary purpose: to direct our hearts to the living Word, Jesus Christ. The Bible is not the Savior; Jesus is. And as Speaker A points out in Romans 15, "Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us, and the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God's promises to be fulfilled." What is this hope? What is this encouragement that God is giving? Speaker A references back to Romans 14, where Paul reminds us that the kingdom of God is not about arguments over religious practice or culture—what we eat or drink, or even the observance of days—but about a life marked by goodness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. It's so easy to get lost in our religion and miss the point entirely: we can argue and hurt each other over differences, missing the heart of the gospel. The invitation of the kingdom is greater; it's about being transformed, healed, and empowered to serve and love—even our enemies. This kingdom life is about reflecting Christ to the world—a life of loving one another, of patience, of hope, of encouragement, of finding our identity not in religious observance or perfection, but in the abiding presence of God's Spirit within us. The fruit of this life is not fear, not anxiety, not striving to earn favor, but the freedom that comes from grace and the confidence that comes from being God's beloved. Let the Scriptures remind you and teach you that all of this—patience, hope, encouragement, peace—these are gifts from God. The Bible points us to Christ, the source of our courage and confidence. The kingdom is bigger than anything we imagine—a life richer than anything religious practice alone could provide. The best is yet to be revealed. That's a prayer for Speaker A's soul. It's the prayer for his family, his wife, his daughters, his son. And it's the prayer for you: May God give us, this day, hope and encouragement as we fix our eyes on the One who is the source, the One who invites us to live in the joy and freedom of his kingdom life. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. And in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose through Jesus Christ Our Lord amen. Oh God you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth and sent your blessed son to preach peace to those who are far and those who are near. Grant that people everywhere may seek after you, and find you. Bring the nations into your fold, pour out your Spirit on all flesh, and hasten the coming of your kingdom through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen. And now Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light. And where there is sadness, Joy. Oh Lord grant that I might not seek to be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in the giving that we receive, in the pardoning that we are pardoned, it is in the dying that we are born unto eternal life. Amen And now as our Lord has taught us we are bold to pray... Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not unto temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Loving God, we give you thanks for restoring us in your image. And nourishing us with spiritual food, now send us forth as forgiven people, healed and renewed, that we may proclaim your love to the world, and continue in the risen life of Christ. Amen. This message challenges believers to examine whether they have a critical spirit or a Christ-like spirit. Looking at the example of Christ, Pastor Byron Chesney emphasizes the importance of bearing one another's burdens, building up fellow believers, and maintaining unity within the church. Rather than focusing on our own preferences or criticizing others, Christians are called to edify, encourage, and receive one another just as Christ has received us, all for the glory of God.

Send us your feedback — we're listening Romans 15:13 — A Midday Prayer for Quiet Hope, Emotional Rest, and Steady Peace Live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope Nashville • Texas • Bogotá • São Paulo • North Carolina QUIET HOPE • REST • STEADY PEACE midday prayer for emotional rest • Christian prayer for quiet hope • prayer for peace during difficult days • prayer for emotional calmness and strength Scripture — Romans 15:13 (NIV) “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him…” If this day has started feeling emotionally heavy again, pause for a quiet moment with Jesus. You are safe to slow down for a moment. God sees the emotional tiredness that can quietly build through busy days and difficult seasons. He understands the inner pressure, overthinking, and emotional strain that can slowly leave the heart feeling worn down. Before this day moves any further, allow your thoughts to become still again gently. Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before You now. Jesus, stay close beside me through this day. When my thoughts begin feeling emotionally crowded and overwhelmed, help my heart settle quietly within Your peace again. When tiredness and uncertainty begin draining my hope, remind me that Your presence is still gently holding me steady. Lord, help me receive quiet peace today. I place every hidden burden into Your hands now. I release the emotional strain, inner heaviness, and discouragement that have been exhausting my spirit. And now, I choose steady hope instead of fear. Jesus, walk gently beside me through the rest of this day. Lead me beside still waters and let my thoughts rest safely within Your calm presence. God has not stepped away from you. Even now, while life feels emotionally tiring, His peace remains close beside your heart today. Jesus is with you now. Across the world, people are quietly searching for emotional calmness, reassurance, and steady hope through difficult seasons. From Nashville to Texas, from Bogotá to São Paulo and North Carolina, Jesus is bringing quiet peace, emotional strength, and gentle reassurance to weary hearts today. Paul is pleased with the progress of the church in Rome. He sees in them God's goodness, their knowledge, and their ability to instruct others. In like manner, Yahweh will become for us everything we need to live productive, fruitful lives.

The strong are to limit their liberties in order to show love to those with a weaker conscience. If we want to be like Jesus by bearing the weaknesses of others, we must become familiar with Him. The more we read His Word, the more we understand Him. The more we understand Him, the more we become like Him.

Pastor Marshall Ochs | April 12, 2026In this message, Pastor Marshall teaches from Romans 15. In this chapter, Paul calls believers—especially those strong in faith—to sacrificially support and welcome others, following Christ's example, in order to cultivate unity within the church. This unity is not the ultimate goal but a means to a greater end: the worship and exaltation of Jesus among all people, both Jew and Gentile. Paul concludes by reminding the church that this unity must be lived out tangibly through mission, generosity, and prayer.
