With a new and interesting guest each week, the Friday Sharpeners podcast covers a range of topics from around Australia and the globe. Presented by the Boss Hunting team.

This might be our last for a while team - Jack's off to Europe for 6 weeks and Garry's already punching a cheap pack of darts in his budgies somewhere on a Greek island. See you in a month or so.Support the Show.

The fellas have trekked it down to Albert Park for the 2024 Melbourne Grand Prix, where John actually got some one-on-one time with Mercedes' George Russell. Check it out now. Support the show
In 2024, a cracked content unit was sent to internet prison by Zucc for crimes they definitely committed. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Sydney underground of Surry Hills. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as flogs of fortune. If you have time to waste, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can listen to... The D-Team.Support the show
[This was actually recorded two weeks ago but we just forgot to upload it... mea culpa.]
Jack and John take advantage of the podcast studio's new furniture setup by having Gaz recline for a squirmy psychoanalysis session.
Not our best. But that's the signature, babyyyy. Happy holiday, folks. Catch ya in 2024!
The buzz is real and the mercury is high as we roll into a massive holiday period ahead. There's a bit of chat about made to measure suiting, Garry's single game, and the best TV & film of 2023. Roll on the weekend. Sorted.
Who's the most in touch with the common man?
Zero direction. Plenty of enthusiasm.
Back on our bullshieeet.
Nedd Brockmann, future Australian of the Year, stopped by this week to chat about how life has changed since his jaw-dropping run across the country — and the book that he's just written. Use the code BOSSHUNTING for 20% off when you purchase it via neddbrockmann.com.
There are roughly five minutes missing from this episode. Hit up John for the deleted scenes.
Let it be known that John McMahon spends more time in a helicopter than on solid ground.
Jack knows an inordinate amount of people who've been murdered. We get into some of 'em in this episode of Friday Sharpeners.
What better way to kick off Friday Sharpeners 2.0 than have the one and only James Michael Langlow Want dial in live from Singapore?
Despite Jack's half-hearted threat to can Friday Sharpeners as we know it, the fellas return for another quick session of shit talk. Watch this space... Friday Sharpeners 2.0 coming soon.
A lot of who knows what about not much at all. The first time we've all been back in the same room since late May...
This isn't the first time we've been too preoccupied for a poddy. And it certainly won't be the last. Here's what we've been up to since the last time you heard from us.
The boys had an interesting brush with the law this week. But unlike every other occasion, they were the victims of this heinous crime.
Graced by the presence of Jimmy W. Sponsored by Starward. It doesn't get much better than this.
You know... we really don't understand why more people don't hate us.
John's private jet chat, Jack's GP weekend, and why the boys are crossing to you live from the middle of absolutely nowhere - driving from Sydney to Melbourne via the scenic route.
... but only for a month while he goes full Bourdain in Vietnam on Jack's orders.
Really don't know who's still reading these. All you need to know is that this one was alright. Have a cracking weekend!
So it's finally come to this. Shaving Gaz's hair for entertainment/charity.
A lukewarm cola challenge, brothel chat, and other high-octane nonsense... just another day in the BH office.
This isn't a joke. We've hit new lows. Need James back.
After an admittedly slow start to the year on the podcast front, Jack, John, and Gaz return to the mics for more time-wasting content. Topics of discussion in this one range from Garry's cageside experience at Perth's UFC 284: Islam Makhachev vs Alexander Volkanovski to the animal kingdom for some reason.
Normally, this is where you'd find a half-assed description that Gaz bangs out in a drunken stupor. Instead, we'd like to take this time to thank you - the Friday Sharpeners family - for sticking by us through thick and thin. Mostly thin. Catch ya in the new year, shaggers!
Suffice it to say, a few of the lads have seen better days after last night's blowout courtesy of Moet & Chandon (ft. Calvin Harris). While all this was happening, James unleashed the inner craftsman by assembling what is potentially the greatest silly hat for his annual tradition.
Did you miss us? Because we missed you. And to make up for it, we stuck around for almost a full hour revisiting the team's recent trip to Bali - where the booze and shenanigans were plentiful, and the stomachs were delicate. Classic Friday Sharpeners material. This episode has been proudly sponsored by our friends over at Wild Turkey Longbranch.
Just because we felt like shaking up the format - and because Gaz was pressed for time - this week's episode of Friday Sharpeners features Jack and John with a rotating third man every 15 minutes or so (and like 35% more nonsense).
We really half arsed this one, apologies. Maximum energy next week. Enjoy!
Australia's hero, Nedd Brockmann, has literally just clicked over his $1 million fundraising target as he rounds the corner to Sydney after 40 gruelling days on the trot. He'll be hooning to the finish line this Monday night. Be there. In other news, James, Jack and John dissect their tormenting relationship with the city of Sydney, as well as recaps of Boss Hunting's Buffalo Trace brewery tour, a Bentley track day, and a dinner with Grand Seiko. Enjoy.
Rumour has it John McMahon & Martin Garrix have never been in the same room... until last week. JM recaps his absolutely bonkers blowout in Las Vegas as a guest of JBL, and the full squad reunites for a much-need catch-up on all things Nedd's Record Run and Garry's attempt at eating the world's hottest corn chips. We're also trialling a video record of the podcast's best moments from each episode. Let us know in the comments on BH HQ if you're keen to see more.
