To remind us all to pray for persecuted pastors and believers (such as Pastor Wang Yi) as Hebrews 13:3 teaches us to do (“as bound with them”), by sharing from his own published writings in China, as well as more prison stories and sermons from others like the late Richard Wurmbrand. Here’s my humble attempt at expositing Hebrews 13:3: https://chinacall.substack.com/p/remember-my-chains But today it dawned on me that there was an opportunity to honor John MacArthur and keep mostly to the topic of this mid-week podcast, reminding us to pray for the persecuted church. A new MP3 sermon from Alpha and Omega Ministries is now available on SermonAudio with the following details: Title: Johnny Mac's Legacy, Stupid Critics, Alex Jurado Situation, Response to Trinity Radio Subtitle: The Dividing Line 2025 Speaker: Dr. James White Broadcaster: Alpha and Omega Ministries Event: Podcast Date: 7/15/2025 Length: 94 min.
A "jumbo" edition of a Road Trip Dividing Line today from Albuquerque, New Mexico! We talked about John MacArthur, told a few stories, then talked about the sad, silly, inane folks trying to cash in on criticizing him. Spent a few minutes on the Alex Jurado controversy and how we can't just accept electronically produced evidence anymore, even in situations like this. Then we spent about 45 minutes responding to the guys from Trinity, including David Allen, looking at how their own language admits that our primary criticism has always been correct: they start with man, not with God. Then we looked at 1 John 5:1 and how both sides deal with it, or, in their case, don't deal with it at all.
