So Singapore then? Yes we got to see George Russell on the top step with a seemingly resurgent Max Verstappen taking 2nd, which only leaves 1 step on the podium for McLaren and this time round it was Lando Norris, but it was in a way that didn't exactly please Oscar and the other side of the garage.Congratulations to McLaren on clinching their 2nd consecutive World Constructor's Championship, but now the hard work really starts for them. They've got 2 drivers in contention for the driver's crown, but it seems like things aren't exactly cordial right now. After Forcing Oscar to let Lando past after a fudged pit stop in Monza and now not letting him by after the usual Sinagpore GP lap 1 "3 into 1 doesn't go" first corner. Do we get the impression that Oscar is now driving for Oscar, due to the team having got their spot at the top?We try and make sense of what's coming for the rest of the 2025 season as well as a stack of our usual going off on tangents (there's more in the Patreon show if that's your kind of thing). Along with our usual team by team lookback at the race and some of the best radio we've heard from Fernando Alonso since the last time he let the pitwall know his thoughts! And if you want to join in with the chat during the races (along with practice and qualifying) head over to our Discord where there's always a great crowd of people to watch along with. And on the socials we've got our Facebook, Instagram, BlueSky & Twitter (or is it X) and Paul's attempts at Sim Racing on our Twitch channel. Unsurprisingly, McLaren win the 2025 Formula 1 Constructors' Championship, equaling Red Bull Racing's record of least races taken to win the teams' title. Surprisingly, George Russell scored his first win around the streets of Singapore - building on a classic pole lap from Saturday. He was unmatched on Sunday, as Max Verstappen, in second, couldn't charge further, and held back the "faster" McLaren of Lando Norris. The Ferrari duo struggled with brake wear issues with Lewis Hamilton picking up a post-race time penalty of 5 seconds. Fernando Alonso, who was furious with Hamilton's "track limit" violations had a feisty race with a slow pit stop. Carlos Sainz went from P18 to the points after Alexander Albon's team work helped keep Liam Lawson at bay. Whilst Kimi Antonelli's future looks brighter, George Russell and Toto Wolff are locking horns...and neither one are backing down.Climb the ladder with me on Patreon: https://patreon.com/lawvsThe Russell vs Mercedes saga is heating up and whilst there seemingly HAS been progress...it's gotten very technical. Yes, Toto Wolff has publicly promised Kimi Antonelli a seat for 2026...verbally. On Italian TV. For now, it's not signed, sealed and delivered. Meanwhile, George Russell has gone from pushing for a multi-year deal to being offered a single-season extension with no conditions...yep. In this episode of the 'EverythingF1' podcast, hosts Coops and James dive into the details of the recent Baku Grand Prix. They begin with some light-hearted banter before delving into an analysis of the race, which they agreed was not the most exciting. They discuss various drivers' performances, focusing heavily on Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri from McLaren, noting missed opportunities and Piastri's unusual mistakes throughout the weekend. They also highlight the performances of George Russell, who finished second despite feeling unwell, and Carlos Sainz, who secured third place for Williams. Further discussions include the missed opportunities for Ferrari and the strong performances from other drivers. The episode also covers significant news: Christian Horner has officially left his roles at Red Bull, with speculations about his future in Formula 1 possibly beginning as early as 2026. The hosts wrap up the episode by discussing upcoming plans and engaging with their social media followers' opinions on the race and predictions.

Simon and Ted are joined by Jamie Chadwick to catch up on another mega weekend of racing in Azerbaijan. Oscar, Lando and McLaren are looking over their shoulders at a resurgent Max Verstappen. Carlos Sainz scored his and William's first podium of the season. George Russell battled an illness to take second place and much more on this episode of the F1 Show.
Just two blokes, Andrew & Bruce. talking motorsport over a beer… well, maybe not this week. We pull apart the Azerbaijan Grand Prix: Oscar's slips, Lando's missed punches, Max's metronomic dominance, and Red Bull Racing's revival under its new regime. George Russell, Carlos Sainz, and the small matter of a Williams podium all get a run, too. Then we swing back to The Bend 500, seven days on, to ask what actually mattered, who nailed the start, and who never fired. Plus, Cameron McLeod's big weekend at Indy in GT4, and a word on TCR's quiet resurgence. It's RevLimiter: no fluff, no fence-sitting, plenty of throttle. #F1 #Supercars #NASCAR #IMSA #WEC#hypercar #LandoNorris#OscarPiastri #SVG Musicby:bensound.comArtist:DollshadeLicensecode:JMWGOIMLZNKZYGBR
It was Red Bull-Honda's Max Verstappen all the way at Baku - from the pole, throughout the race and with fastest lap to his credit. In terms of a Grand Slam like this, Max is now only two away from...Jim Clark. George Russell finished a valiant P2 for Mercedes, ahead of Williams-Mercedes' Carlos Sainz, who drove beautifully from the front row. With Ferrari finishing only P8/P9, and McLaren-Mercedes P7/DNF, the minor placings were filled by Kimi Antonelli (P4 in the other factory Mercedes), Liam Lawson (Racing Bulls-Honda) and Yuki Tsunoda (Red Bull-Honda). This week on Paddock 43 we unpack one of the wildest (and longest) weekends Formula 1 has seen this year. The Baku GP delivered pure chaos with six red flags, heartbreak for Oscar Piastri, and Carlos Sainz calling it “the best podium of my career” after Williams pulled off a smooth operation. Plus some slightly insane conspiracy theories around Lando Norris. Off-track, the gossip was just as juicy: Hadjar rumoured as Max Verstappen's 2026 teammate Arvid potentially joining Racing Bulls (and what this means for Liam Lawson or Yuki Tsunoda) Azerbaijan GP extended to 2030 Lando Norris in British Vogue and liking an OnlyFans model's page
Six-time IndyCar race winner, James Hinchcliffe, and F1TV's lead presenter, Laura Winter, join Tom Clarkson in the Baku paddock to dissect a chaotic Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend. Max Verstappen's fourth win of the season means he's now 69 points behind championship leader Oscar Piastri. With seven races and three F1 Sprints left, is the four-time World Champion back in the title fight? Red Bull Technical Director Pierre Wache shares his thoughts and explains how the team have transformed their performance since the summer break. With Piastri crashing out on lap one and Lando Norris only finishing P7, how big a missed opportunity was this weekend for Lando to close the gap to his title rival? And was McLaren's difficult weekend a ‘hangover' from their team orders in Monza? You'll also hear reaction from a very happy Carlos Sainz, after he scored his first podium for Williams, while Tom, Laura and Hinch also discuss a much better weekend for Mercedes duo George Russell and Kimi Antonelli, a very important battle between Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda on track, and a weekend to forget for Ferrari.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Despite ceding the lead to McLaren-Mercedes' Lando Norris at the end of lap one, Red Bull-Honda's Max Verstappen brilliantly won the Pirelli Italian GP at Monza, beating both McLaren drivers down into the minor placings. For their part, McLaren introduced more controversial team orders to enable Lando Norris to finish second ahead of Oscar Piastri. Charles Leclerc drove the skin off his Ferrari to finish fourth ahead of Mercedes' George Russell and Sir Lewis Hamilton, who started with a five-place grid penalty after a yellow flag infringement at Zandvoort.
The 2025 Dutch Grand Prix had it all - a maiden podium, surprise DNFs, a bold Max Verstappen, the Orange Army, an over ambitious teenager & lots of "lucky" strategy under the 3 x Safety Car periods. Ferrari's double DNF, Lewis Hamilton's driver error leading to a crash & retirement, Andrea Kimi Antonelli's crash with Charles Leclerc, Leclerc's spirited overtake on George Russell, and the Sainz-Lawson incident. Lots of talking points from the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix. Oscar Piastri won the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix from pole and led every lap of the race. However, Lando Norris' unexpected (and unfair) power unit failure swung the points gap to 34 points. A championship deciding power unit failure, is it? Lewis Hamilton handed a 5 place grid drop for the 2025 Italian Grand Prix, Ferrari's home race, for failing to slow down for "double yellow" flags on the reconnaissance laps to the grid. Basically, Hamilton was penalised for his pre-race actions on grounds of safety. F1 is finally back after the long summer break, and so are we. This week's live stream gets rolling with a little game: is it a George Russell insult or the name of a bird? (Harder than you think.) From there we dive into the latest silly season chatter, including the rumored Cadillac driver lineup that has us raising eyebrows. And of course, we look ahead to the rest of the season with some bold, probably wrong, predictions. It's the return of racing, a reset of the grid, and a reminder that while IndyCar is fun, it just can't quite fill the Formula 1–shaped hole in our hearts.
