Ils donnaient rendez-vous à des hommes majeurs qui pensaient séduire de jeunes filles. Mais ces rencards étaient en réalité des guet-apens ultra violents. Les agressions, filmées, étaient ensuite diffusées sur des réseaux sociaux comme TikTok ou encore Telegram. Précédés de mois de tensions, les cinq jours de conflits armés entre la Thaïlande et le Cambodge fin juillet 2025 ont déplacé des centaines de milliers de personnes dans les provinces frontalières où se sont concentrés les affrontements. Selon les autorités cambodgiennes, au moins 700 000 travailleurs émigrés en Thaïlande seraient revenus au Cambodge depuis le début de la crise. Alors que les relations entre les deux pays sont au plus bas malgré le cessez-le-feu, les perspectives d'emplois semblent très incertaines pour ces travailleurs peu qualifiés, précaires et revenus à la hâte. De notre correspondante à Phnom Penh,  Sur un chantier de la capitale Phnom Penh, Lors et Sanan s'estiment chanceux d'avoir pu retrouver un emploi. Fin juillet, ce couple d'ouvriers du bâtiment travaillait encore à Bangkok. Quand le conflit armé éclate entre la Thaïlande et le Cambodge, ils se sentent menacés. « D'autres travailleurs migrants nous ont prévenu qu'une bande d'une dizaine de Thaïlandais avaient cherché à les intimider. Et puis, ils sont venus nous trouver et ont demandé : " Eh toi ! Tu viens d'où ? "J'ai eu peur de me faire frapper si je leur disais que j'étais Cambodgien. Alors, j'ai répondu que je venais d'une province thaïlandaise et ça s'est arrêté là. » Au même moment, le couple est prévenu que leur famille restée au Cambodge doit évacuer le village en raison des affrontements : « Nous avions déjà peur ici. Et ma mère nous appelait tous les jours avec les enfants. Nous avons redouté que ce gang (thaïlandais) nous retrouve et nous cherche plus d'histoires. Alors, nous avons demandé notre salaire et nous sommes rentrés fin juillet. »  Comme Lors et Sanan, au moins 700 000 travailleurs émigrés sont rentrés au Cambodge en raison du conflit. Jusqu'à présent, ils étaient près de 1,2 million Cambodgiens à travailler en Thaïlande, dont seulement une moitié en situation régulière. Regardez ! » Khun Tharo est responsable de programme à Central, une ONG cambodgienne de défense des droits des travailleurs.  Sur son ordinateur défilent les vidéos envoyées par leurs équipes déployées sur un poste frontalier : « Regardez ce qu'ils transportent : des matelas, des couvertures, leurs bébés sur leurs épaules, etc. On comprend qu'ils ne vont pas revenir avant un long moment. » La panique a poussé ces travailleurs à quitter leur emploi, quitte à se priver de tous revenus une fois au Cambodge : « Ils ont dû choisir entre leur sécurité et leurs revenus, explique  Khun Tharo. S'ils n'avaient pas été confrontés à cette situation, ils seraient restés en Thaïlande où ils avaient un salaire régulier. Quand ils reviennent ici, ils ne savent pas s'ils pourront retrouver un travail ou combien de temps cela prendra. Ils s'inquiètent de savoir comment ils pourront subvenir aux besoins de leur famille ou rembourser leur emprunt. Le problème, c'est que je doute qu'il y ait assez d'emplois disponibles pour la masse de travailleurs qui sont revenus. » Malgré un cessez-le-feu le 29 juillet, ils sont encore nombreux à dire ne pas vouloir retourner en Thaïlande. Mais, même si les autorités cambodgiennes se mobilisent, le marché du travail risque de ne pas pouvoir absorber ces quelque  700 000 travailleurs supplémentaires issus de milieux précaires. Or, côté thaïlandais, les secteurs de la construction, du service, de la pêche, de l'agriculture ou encore de l'industrie alimentaire, des secteurs qui employaient cette main d'œuvre cambodgienne peu qualifiée, se confrontent à l'urgence de la remplacer. C dans l'air du 9 août 2025 - Gaza : qui peut arrêter Netanyahu ?Emission présentée par Salhia BrakhliaEn Israël, c'est la stupeur qui domine après l'annonce cette semaine par Benyamin Netanhayu de son intention de "prendre le contrôle" de la bande de Gaza. Ce plan, examiné par le cabinet de sécurité jeudi, vise notamment le quart de territoire qui n'est pas encore sous contrôle israélien, et notamment Gaza ville où vivent 1 million de Palestiniens. Le gouvernement se donne jusqu'à la date symbolique du 7 octobre pour accomplir son objectif. Depuis deux jours, les questions se multiplient : où iront les centaines de milliers de Gazaouis évacués ? Par qui seront-ils gérés ? Et qui administrera l'enclave une fois l'armée israélienne partie ? Pour de nombreux observateurs, le plan de Netanyahu relève davantage de l'idéologie que de la stratégie militaire, en témoigne cette lettre signée par 600 anciens responsables de la sécurité israéliens et adressée à Donald Trump pour lui demander de faire pression sur Israël et de mettre fin à la guerre à Gaza.En Europe, les lignes bougent aussi. Deuxième fournisseur d'armes d'Israël après les Etats-Unis, l'Allemagne a annoncé la suspension de toute exportation d'armes susceptibles d'être utilisées dans le conflit "jusqu'à nouvel ordre". Le ministre des affaires étrangères français, Jean-Noël Barrot, a condamné le plan israélien, estimant que cela "ne ferait qu'aggraver une situation déjà catastrophique". Une réunion d'urgence du Conseil de sécurité de l'ONU doit aussi se tenir aujourd'hui.Aux États-Unis, celui qui avait pris l'habitude de soutenir bruyamment les décisions de Benyamin Netanyahu est resté étrangement silencieux cette semaine. Soutien tacite ? Toujours est-il qu'après des mois des mois à accorder son blanc sein au Premier ministre israélien, Donald Trump semble un peu plus embarrassé par son allié. Fin juillet, lors d'un voyage en Écosse, il a publiquement démenti Netanyahu qui avait insinué qu'il n'y avait pas de famine à Gaza : "D'après ce que l'on voit à la télévision, (…) ces enfants ont l'air très affamés", avait dit Trump, "ce n'est pas un trucage". Selon la chaîne américaine ABC, Donald Trump se serait même emporté au téléphone quand son allié lui aurait expliqué que ces images étaient manipulées par le Hamas.Côté arabe, le sujet palestinien continue d'embarrasser les monarchies du Golf ou encore l'Égypte, tous soutenus militairement par les États-Unis et certains commerçant encore avec Israël. Le 7 août, l'Égypte a signé un accord d'une valeur de 30 milliards d'euros avec l'État hébreu pour la livraison de gaz naturel israélien. Signe du malaise, en Égypte et en Jordanie, pays frontaliers de la bande de Gaza, les manifestations propalestiniennes, ne sont plus autorisées. Fin juillet, plusieurs pays arabes dont Arabie saoudite, le Qatar et l'Égypte ont publiquement appelé le Hamas à se désarmer, pour confier l'administration de Gaza à l'autorité palestinienne. Le Hamas a répondu en les accusant de lâcher le peuple palestinien.À quoi peut ressembler la mise en œuvre du plan de Netanyahu pour Gaza ? Le Conseil constitutionnel a retoqué jeudi l'article 2 de la loi Duplomb, sur la réintroduction partielle de l'acétamipride, un néonicotinoïde réclamé par certaines filières agricoles, mais potentiellement dangereux pour l'environnement et la santé. L'institution, qui s'est appuyée sur l'article 1 de la Charte de l'environnement, souligne que ces produits ont des "incidences sur la biodiversité (…), ainsi que des conséquences sur la qualité de l'eau et des sols et induisent des risques pour la santé humaine". À droite et à l'extrême droite, on se désole de cette décision : "En se comportant comme un législateur alors qu'il n'en détient pas la légitimité démocratique, le Conseil constitutionnel scie la branche sur laquelle il est assis", a déclaré la présidente du groupe RN à l'Assemblée nationale, Marine Le Pen. À gauche, on se félicite de cette censure, mais on espère que la loi sera carrément retirée après la pétition qui a récolté 2 millions de signatures : "Le président Macron devrait permettre une deuxième délibération pour qu'il y ait enfin un examen en Hémicycle et une réponse à la grande mobilisation populaire de cet été contre l'ensemble de la loi", insiste Aurélie Trouvé, la présidente LFI de la commission des affaires économiques à l'Assemblée nationale. Quant au député Laurent Duplomb, il n'exclut pas un nouveau texte pour réintroduire le pesticide, en tenant compte des critères imposés par le Conseil constitutionnel.Cette petite victoire pour les défenseurs de l'environnement ne saurait cacher les nombreux reculs enregistrés ces derniers mois. Fin juin, le Réseau Action Climat a listé au moins 43 reculs sur les six derniers mois : suspension de MaPrimeRenov, soutien aux modes d'élevages industriels, coupe des aides sur les véhicules électriques et le vélo, reprise des travaux pour l'A69, la suppression des ZFE, ou encore des coupes budgétaires pour la transition écologique. Le camp présidentiel qui s'était engagé à faire de la transition écologique une de ses priorités a même participé à certains renoncements, à l'image des zones à faible émissions : "L'analyse des votes montre que, si ces reculs ont souvent été initiés par l'extrême droite ou la droite républicaine, le bloc central en a soutenu plusieurs ou a été trop divisé pour les contrer", analyse le Réseau Action Climat. Signe de ce relâchement, le rythme de baisse des émissions de gaz à effet de serre a fortement ralenti l'année dernière, passant de 5,8 % en 2023 à 1,8 % en 2024.À Marseille, on pense les plaies après l'incendie, parti des Pennes-Mirabeau, qui a ravagé 750 hectares le 8 juillet. Un mois plus tard, les habitants du quartier de l'Estaque, où 90 maisons ont brûlé, se sont regroupés dans un collectif pour porter plainte contre X et réclamer des comptes à la préfecture des Bouches-du-Rhône. Ils estiment que les pompiers sont intervenus trop tard, et que le préfet n'aurait pas dû recommander le confinement aux habitants touchés par les flammes. "Quand [le préfet] a fait sa déclaration en disant qu'il a bien fait de confiner les gens, je me dis que si j'étais resté dans ma maison, j'aurais cramé", témoigne un membre du collectif auprès de Franceinfo.Pourquoi le Conseil constitutionnel a-t-il censuré l'article 2 de la loi Duplomb ? C dans l'air du 5 août 2025 : Droits de douanes américains, Chine...l'Europe prise en étauÉmission présentée par Saliah BrakhliaLes nouveaux droits de douane de 15% entre les Etats-Unis et l'Europe entreront en vigueur jeudi. Mais déjà, plusieurs voix s'élèvent pour critiquer l'accord obtenu entre la Commission européenne et la Maison Blanche. Ancien ministre de l'Économie, Thierry Breton considère que cet accord est "déséquilibré", et qu'il a été imposé par Washington, alors même que l'Europe est le premier partenaire commercial des Etats-Unis. Ce week-end, l'ancien Premier ministre Michel Barnier a vivement critiqué Ursula Von Der Leyen, qualifiant la négociation d'"immense défaite". Parmi les secteurs les plus touchés, les produits pharmaceutiques (120 milliards d'euros d'exportation en 2024), et les vins et spiritueux (8 milliards) s'inquiètent de leur avenir. Le secteur du luxe devrait s'en sortir un peu mieux, en répercutant la hausse des droits de douane sur les prix. Quant à l'industrie aéronautique, elle a bénéficié d'une exemption de droits de douane.Autre victime de la guerre commerciale, l'industrie automobile est en berne : fin juillet, le groupe franco-italien Stellantis (Peugeot, Fiat, Chrysler…) a annoncé une perte de 2,3 milliards d'euros sur le premier semestre, notamment en raison d'une baisse des ventes de véhicules en Europe et aux Etats-Unis. En Allemagne, l'automobile est aussi en crise. Mercedes a annoncé fin juillet une chute de 69% de son bénéfice au deuxième trimestre, et Porsche de 91% par rapport à la même période en 2024. Le marché du véhicule haut de gamme allemand, qui se tournait avant tout vers la Chine, est confronté à un repli des consommateurs sur leur propre marché : ces derniers privilégient désormais les marques chinoises plus abordables et connectées, à l'image de la berline Xiaomi SU7, trois fois moins chère qu'une Porsche Taycan.Et les Chinois ne se contentent pas d'envahir le marché de l'automobile européen. Ils investissent également dans les autres secteurs clés. Fin mai, le groupe chinois Wanrun a ainsi repris Safra, le seul constructeur français d'autobus à hydrogène, qui avait été placé en redressement judiciaire depuis février. Le consortium chinois a repris pour 7 millions d'euros l'ensemble des activités du groupe ainsi que 120 salariés (sur 169). Ce rachat n'avait pas plu à tout le monde : "Au moment où le gouvernement en appelle à la souveraineté industrielle et veut renforcer les territoires d'industrie, (…) une nouvelle erreur se profile à Albi si le tribunal de commerce faisait le choix du groupe asiatique", avait pointé Jean-Louis Chauzy, le Président du Conseil Economique et social de Midi-Pyrénées. En bon enfant du Bassin d'Arcachon, Patrice est fils d'ostréiculteur ! Très énergique, il teste divers sports, dont le foot et l'athlétisme, avant de s'essayer au rugby et de parapher sa première licence à Gujan Mestras !Rapidement sollicité par de grosses écuries, il s'engage en 1980, pour le CA Bègles avec qui il découvrira le meilleur niveau Français. Sélectionné par ailleurs dans les équipes de France jeune, il quitte la Gironde 2 ans plus tard pour rejoindre la région dans laquelle il construira sa vie : le Pays Basque.En 1982, le voici donc débarquant du côté de l'Aviron Bayonnais, récent finaliste de première division. Dès l'année suivante, il honorera ses premières sélections avec le XV de France, participant entre autres aux 2 premières Coupes du Monde, en 1987 et 1991.Dix ans après son arrivée à Bayonne, il effectue un saut de puce pour rejoindre Biarritz, et son ami Serge Blanco.Retraité des terrains en 1997, Patrice devient rapidement entraineur et participe à forger l'immense Biarritz Olympique des années 2000. Pour cause, ils décrocheront notamment 3 boucliers de Brennus et un Challenge Européen.Fin 2011, il devient entraineur du XV de France pendant 4 ans, puis sélectionneur du Portugal. Il est d'ailleurs le grand architecte de l'épopée Lusitanienne lors du Mondial 2023.Mais résumer la vie de Patrice au rugby serait bien réducteur : il a en effet accompli une très belle carrière dans l'assurance et a fondé l'association Chrysalide, en soutien aux enfants en situation de handicap. Toujours très actif, il a aussi une vie de famille accomplie et des journées à 100 à l'heure.Cette rencontre avec Patrice était tout simplement passionnante !
