We are childhood best friends launching a brand new podcast: Having a MOMent. We have been friends since we were six months old and, over 30 years later, we were lucky to have become first-time moms within a year of each other. As we try to navigate the unchartered territory of first-time mama-hood, we connected not only with our hilarious, wonderful, and challenging experiences as new moms, but we also are focused on keeping what makes us ... US. We are so excited to share who we are with you and to chat about why remaining true to our passions is so important as we begin the new year!

We are SO glad that you are here, and we hope that you will join us today as we talk about the importance of mercy. At the end of this episode, we pose a challenge to you! Please connect with us to share your chosen opportunity this week! @having.a.moment.podcast@hj_pacheco@tone_that_ash
It's Week #2 of our new series: Perspective MOMents! Today, we talk about SELF-AWARENESS! How aware are we on a daily basis of how our words and actions affect the people around us? Do we go out of our way to communicate politely and behave considerately? It is so important, now more than ever in our society, to consider how what we say and do makes someone else feel. Self-awareness affects all facets of our lives, from out children, friends, co-workers, family members, spouses, and even random strangers! The more self-aware we are, the more positively we will impact the lives of those around us and we all can agree that the world can always use more self-awareness! If you take on our challenge mentioned at the end of our episode today then please connect with us and share!! You can find us at the following: @tone_that_ash@hj_pacheco@having.a.moment.podcast

Whether you are debating starting an important new chapter in your life or simply wanting to find more ways of being successful in your business, talking it out with a friend is everything!

Judgy much?? If you're anything like us, we love to people watch and are totally guilty of judging parents from afar before we ourselves became mamas. We had opinions about everything! We were also told by parents, "You just don't get it. Just wait..." And they were RIGHT!! We chat openly today about the parenting choices we totally judged pre-mamahood and how we now view the things we so casually judged previously.

There is so much to consider when deciding whether or not to stay at home or at work and it is such a joy talking it through with Emily because she provides such a well thought-out and conscientious perspective.
Having our babies has radically altered our perspectives, priorities, and passions. We share about what, specifically, changed for us after welcoming Eli and Lola, what we had to sort through emotionally, and how we have emerged as new moms with determination to do what makes us happy. Having a MOMent, Beach Body, and LuLaRoe have given us the MOMentum to feverishly pursue our personal goals, actively working to be the best versions of ourselves not only for our littles or our husbands, but also for OURSELVES.
Today we chat about the good, the bad, and the loud. We are actively trying to raise good humans by consistently and positively reinforcing their good behaviors, while also navigating the mine field of modifying negative behaviors. We discuss what our littles are currently doing (the good and the ... challenging) and we share our successes and obstacles thus far working with our little ones' behaviors.
MILESTONES - what a loaded word! We take on so much pressure for our babies to hit important developmental milestones at a specific time and it is super stressful!
