Und du darfst entscheiden, was dich weiter begleitet.
Did you know that the menopause transition creates an inflammatory response in your body, and everything you've been doing to "fix" it might be making it worse? In this eye-opening episode, I'm joined by Dr. Shivani Gupta, author of The Inflammation Code, to break down why perimenopause and menopause trigger inflammation, how ancient Ayurvedic wisdom can guide you through this transition, and why the extreme diets you're trying are sabotaging your metabolism. Dr. Shivani shares why this season of life is a Vata season (characterized by dryness, anxiety, and feeling ungrounded), and how to counteract it with nourishment, rhythm, and the practices your body is actually craving. You'll Discover: ● Why the menopause transition creates an inflammatory response (and what that really means for your body) ● How your Ayurvedic constitution (Vata, Pitta, or Kapha) determines what your body needs right now ● Why perimenopause and menopause are Vata seasons (and what that means for dryness, anxiety, brain fog, and joint pain) ● The one daily practice that grounds your nervous system: Abhyanga oil massage (and why it's a game-changer for aging skin) ● Why extreme diets like carnivore and keto damage your gut microbiome ● How to eat for nourishment instead of depletion ● Why turmeric needs black pepper or fat to work ● The "Tea Time is Me Time" practice that helps you reset your nervous system five times a day ● How to stop chasing your 20-year-old body and build metabolic health that lasts Ready to Balance Inflammation and Feel Like Yourself Again? This transition requires new strategies, and you have more control than you think. Watch the full episode now, and share this with every woman who's tired of fighting her body instead of supporting it.

Send us a textThere's no sense in being successful if you're too burned out to enjoy it — or if there's no one left to enjoy it with.In this episode, I'm breaking down how to get three days out of one using a simple framework: Me Time, Money Time, and Meaning Time. It's not about cramming more into your day — it's about bringing awareness, intention, and purpose to the time you already have. You'll learn how to take care of yourself first, focus on what really moves the needle, and make space for the people and moments that matter most.By the end, you'll stop just surviving your days and start living them on purpose.Support the show

When was the last time you felt truly at ease with someone? Do you feel that kind of ease often, or was it rare? In this special live episode recorded at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., Jay sits down with bestselling author and therapist Lori Gottlieb to explore the hidden dynamics that shape our relationships. Together, they unpack why so many of us feel the need to “perform” for love and how fear of rejection, perfectionism, and old emotional patterns can quietly erode connection. Lori shares how true intimacy begins with acceptance, not just of our partners, but of ourselves, and why showing up authentically is the only way to feel genuinely seen. Through humor, warmth, and real audience interactions, Jay and Lori dive into topics like vulnerability, emotional safety, and the balance between “me time” and “we time.” They share how to stop trying to fix or control your partner, how to communicate without defensiveness, and how to build relationships rooted in curiosity and compassion instead of criticism. This conversation is a reminder that love isn’t about finding someone who reads your mind, it’s about learning each other’s language, embracing imperfections, and creating a safe space where both people can grow. In this interview, you'll learn: How to Stop Performing for Love How to Create Emotional Safety in a Relationship How to Let Your Partner Be Vulnerable How to Build Connection Through Acceptance How to Communicate Without Getting Defensive How to Balance “Me Time” and “We Time” How to Love Without Trying to Fix Love is not a performance, it’s a practice. It’s built in the quiet moments when we choose to listen instead of defend, to understand instead of control, and to show up even when it feels uncomfortable. Every relationship, whether romantic or otherwise, becomes stronger when we replace judgment with curiosity and fear with honesty. Powered by Firstory Hosting
連俞涵 FB https://www.facebook.com/babyfishtube IG https://www.instagram.com/lienbaby ・ 節目監製|凱特文化 K.A.T.E Publishing/Intergrate Marketing 合作洽談|podcast相關合作請來信 katedog@ms35.hinet.net 聆聽回饋|cindyharriet@gmail.com ・ 視覺設計|萬亞雰 製作統籌|Lan 節目剪輯|房子共同工作室 音樂來源| Falling Slowly by Peter McIsaac Short forest ambience, birds, distant river, Cat Tien National Park, Vietnam (sound from https://www.zapsplat.com)>) -- Hosting provided by SoundOn -- Hosting provided by SoundOn

Kara Reich is the founder of Me Time Botanicals, a clean, high-performance skincare line born out of her personal journey of healing and self-care. After navigating an abusive relationship and battling hormonal acne from stress and burnout, Kara discovered the power of natural skincare rituals in transforming both her skin and her spirit. Her passion led her to study organic cosmetic science and launch Me Time Botanicals—a simplified, affordable skincare line rooted in plant-based ingredients, science, and self-love. Today, Kara empowers women to pause, prioritize their well-being, and glow from the inside out. _________________________________ If you're a skincare lover (or just skincare-curious), this episode is a must-listen!
