There were several things that dropped in my spirit when I knew that I was going to be preaching to this group of pastors this morning. They were all young women. Esther It's a new day but the same message I am here today affirm them today.
Pastor Appreciation (Bro. Rick Pruitt)
Everyone in here this morning, ask yourself this question, Am I fulfilling the gospel? Chances are that you are not. How can you say that Pastor? Maybe we should bring back the question, “What Would Jesus Do?
This week's message examines the biblical truth of God's surpassing glory in the new covenant in contrast to the old covenant. Through understanding Paul's imagery, we can see the reality of God's glory in Jesus and the challenge to change old habits that hinder what God is doing.
Do you feel yourself naturally gravitating toward people like you? How can you be more intentional about serving everyone? We'll help our city know Jesus better when we serve and sacrifice like he did.
Big Lee travels the country as an Evangelist, Storyteller and Motivational Speaker. In this message he challenges the listener through the story of a guy in the scripture named Shamgar. Powerful word. Ending with his world famous Deer Hunting poem. You don't want to miss this message.
Have you ever listened to someone preach the word and then afterwards think to yourself, Man I could listen to them all day. You will feel this way after you listen to this message from Big Lee. He travels the country as an Evangelist, Storyteller and Motivational Speaker.
You need to hear this word from Pastor Mackenzie. It will bless you and challenge you.
As Christians, we must do more than simply listen to and study the Bible; we must apply its words to our life.
When we live out our faith for the world to see, our actions should draw others to God. Let me ask you this question - In a world that's all about identity, How do you identify? What do others notice about your intentional and unintentional conduct? Does it point them to Jesus? The Sermon on the Mount is a wide-ranging teaching by Jesus, but toward the beginning, he makes a pronouncement about the identity and purpose of his believers. He states that followers of Jesus are (1) “the salt of the earth” (5:13) and (2) “the light of the world” (v. 14).

God empowers us to know his love and to be changed by it. If you love God, then you have love for everyone. If you do not have love for everyone then you do not have the Love of the father. We can only love others to the measure that we are full of God's love.
Pastor Shannon dives in to the life of Job for Fathers Day. Job's high moral character and devout faithfulness to the Lord provides a godly example of how fathers are to faithfully love and lead those under their care.
What a powerful word for Rick Pruitt. You have to tune in and listen to this.
You have to hear this. Jordan and Natalie are great leaders and great pastors. You will not be disappointed by this word.
Pastor Mackenzie always knocks it out of the park. Even on short notice. Pastor Shannon was not able to be in service and she got the call that morning just hours before service time. We are BLESSED First Fam.
One of the most important characters in the deliverance of the Israelites from Egyptian slavery is an unnamed mother who exemplifies the characteristics of a godly woman for us to follow today. When faced with an impossible family circumstance, Moses' moms faith in God teaches us to trust God's protection, care for the most vulnerable, and take every opportunity to share our faith with the next generation.
Graduation Sunday 2023
You will be blessed by this message. It is such an honor and blessing to have someone that can fill in when the pastor is sick. We are truly blessed here at HFA with several people that are ready and willing to step up at a moments notice. We love you Rick Pruitt.
Jesus is the source of resurrection and life. His miracle of resurrecting Lazarus shows Christ's glory and compassion, points to his own resurrection to come, and offers us an invitation to trust in him.
Greg Davis has become a good friend and is a gifted pastor and Bible teacher known for his ability to communicate fresh insights from God's Word. Greg and his wife, Nancy, have served together in ministry for over thirty years. They grew up together in a very small town in the south and have been sweethearts since the 2nd grade. But the uniqueness of their story goes far beyond their early days. Greg's family has persevered through an astonishing number of life-threatening health issues. And those experiences have developed a passion in Greg to encourage and equip people to thrive during the most difficult seasons of life. You will be blessed by their ministry.
“How well God must like you— you don't walk in the ruts of those blind-as-bats, you don't stand with the good-for-nothings, you don't take your seat among the know-it-alls. Instead you thrill to God's Word, you chew on Scripture day and night. You're a tree replanted in Eden, bearing fresh fruit every month, Never dropping a leaf, always in blossom. You're not at all like the wicked, who are mere windblown dust— Without defense in court, unfit company for innocent people. God charts the road you take. The road they take leads to nowhere.” Psalms 1:1-6 MSG The blessed person distinguishes himself or herself from others in actions and desires.
Vulnerability So let's talk about Vulnerability.
Love within a marriage is about commitment, sacrifice, and intimacy, not just emotion. We can love our spouses better when we realize the importance of covenant and permanence.
Loving our enemies is important because, by doing so, we display the love of the Father. God loved us while we were still sinners, living as enemies of him (Romans 5:10). God's kindness and love for us while we were his enemies are the reason we have salvation in Christ Jesus.
One of the most common desires humans have is for love. Everyone wants to be loved by someone and to love them back—no matter if it's romantic love or love for family and friends. The Bible has much to say about love and the different kinds that we experience in our relationships.
Romans 12:1-2 The Message Translation says- 'So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. Christ transforms us as we trust him with our futures. Heres what you have to do- Move confidently into the future, putting your hope in Jesus to save and protect you at every turn.
Real Transformation in Christ inevitably shows up in relationships—in family, friendship, work, and community. Lets face it, some of us need to find new friends, or some of us need to just find friends.
We are renewed or transformed in Christ as we learn to engage the world and its authority with integrity.
Over the next few weeks, we are gonna discover how Romans 12–16 describes in sometimes uncomfortable detail just what it means: transformation of who we are, of what we do, with whom we do it, and of that to which we look forward.
You need to hear this. What an awesome message by Pastor Mackenzie. Powerful word.
Jesus' birth, life, death, and resurrection ushered in an everlasting kingdom for all who believe. Jesus is the believer's path home to a right relationship with God.
Mary and Joseph faced adversity, but with faith in the hope of Jesus. They pushed thru. They both had an encounter with the Lord and did not ignore it. Encountering Jesus gives the believer strength in difficulty— This is a reason to celebrate.
Being thankful is an important aspect of being human. But ultimately God is the one who deserves thanks.
Great Missionary Great Word
All of your relationships should pale in comparison to God.
Judas immediately regrets his actions, but he cannot undo their consequences. Rather than look to Jesus for forgiveness, Judas' guilt leads to his destruction. Peter, tho he messed up, he found forgiveness and in Acts 2 he preached a message and over 3000 got saved.
Many people struggle with things that have happened in their past—things they have done and that have been done to them. Through this series we will look at people in the Bible who had rough pasts and at passages that speak about forgiveness and restoration.
Are you excited about your growth? Personally, spiritually? We just read in Ezekiel - God asks can these bones live. He answers with a question. Only you know Lord.
We spend a lot of time indecisively spinning about the gray matters. What the scripture says or does not say. Is this right or is this wrong.
Pastor Ronnie and Sis Diana Morris serve as the Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Arkansas District. You will be blessed and challenged by this very timely message of our Leader.
Terry and Sam Allen, cofounded MVP Leader Group. Time after time I have met with pastors who I know are overwhelmed, stressed out of their mind, and unable to successfully cope, but they never quit or complain. Suicide has even crept into our ranks as good men and women have succumbed to pressure and illness. I will not sit idly by any longer and do nothing. — Terry Allen, MVP Founder
Lets talk about John the Baptist. For some, the word revival evokes images of fiery preaching and miracle healings. For others, it has little meaning. During this series I hope to rightly define and help you understand revival and its effects on individuals and communities.
Nehemiah's commitment to prayer enables him and the returned exiles to have the faith and perseverance to rebuild Jerusalem and renew their city. For some, the word revival evokes images of fiery preaching and miracle healings. For others, it has little meaning. During this series I hope to rightly define and help you understand revival and its effects on individuals and communities. Though the word revival isn't found in the Bible, there are accounts of significant outpourings of God's Spirit on his people, times of spiritual reform, and times of awakening in the spiritual lives of God's people. We'll explore these events and discover how we might experience this same revival in our lives and churches today.
No matter how hard we try, there are some things we just can't do ourselves. We need a team, a group of people working together to achieve a common goal.
In Matthew 9:1–38 - Jesus stirs in his followers a compassionate love for others and calls them to share his truth with the world. How many of you believe that Evangelism is important? All our dreams and work toward making our world a better place must also include the hope and the invitation Jesus offers us of eternal life.
Miracles of God, such as the feeding of the five thousand, provide opportunities to be part of what God is doing. We should remain watchful for opportunities to be used by God in a miraculous moment.
Profound healings take place when Jesus is near. How many of you believe that We can pray for healing and be God's agents of healing in our society?
