What do you do when life suddenly falls apart? In the final message of our study through the Book of Job, we explore one of Scripture's most powerful stories of suffering, perseverance, and restoration. Job's journey takes him from unimaginable loss to a deeper intimacy with God, revealing timeless truths about faith in the midst of hardship.Using the imagery of a 9:01, 9:02, and 9:03 moments—from the Oklahoma City National Memorial—this message examines how believers can navigate seasons of pain, disappointment, grief, and uncertainty while holding tightly to the faithfulness of God. We'll discover why suffering often moves us from simply knowing about God to truly knowing Him, how forgiveness becomes part of the healing process, and what biblical restoration really looks like.Whether you're walking through a difficult season yourself or helping someone else through theirs, this message offers hope that God is still at work—even when the story doesn't make sense. In this episode: What the Book of Job teaches about suffering and God's sovereignty How pain can deepen our relationship with God The role of repentance, surrender, and forgiveness in healing Why restoration doesn't always mean replacing what was lost How God can bring purpose, hope, and redemption out of hardship Practical encouragement for navigating life's "9:02 moments" No matter what chapter you're in, God is still writing your story.

Mercury is known as the trickster—flipping perspectives, reshaping ideas, and pushing you to see things from a completely new angle. So if things feel different… they are. This isn't confusion. This is a rewrite.

On this week's Nation to Nation, host Karyn Pugliese discusses the federal government saying we may need to double electricity output as a nation by 2050. The cost of Canada's electricity demand is increasing and to handle the demand, projects may cross First Nation territories. Karyn also speaks to Indigenous leaders in the electricity and renewable energy sector to discuss who benefits from these projects and who will control them. • • • APTN National News, our stories told our way. The Subway Series ended with a shocker, as the Mets pulled off the kind of ninth inning comeback their fans had been conditioned not to expect. Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber react to Tyrone Taylor's stunning homer, the empty seats at Citi Field, and the rare feeling of the Mets actually delivering a magical late game moment. The guys also break down why the loss should worry Yankees fans beyond just one ugly afternoon. David Bednar's latest collapse, Austin Wells' growing struggles, Aaron Judge's quiet series, and a rough road trip all become part of a bigger conversation about a Yankees team that is still in good shape but suddenly has real problems to solve.
This is the season where we get to rewrite our story and repaint our picture!
Professor Nancy Pearcey joins the Pro-Life Podcast today to unpack the worldview behind abortion, euthanasia, transgenderism, hookup culture, and more.In this powerful conversation, we discuss:- Why today's culture separates the “person” from the body- How abortion and euthanasia are connected- Why Christianity actually teaches a high view of the body- How modern culture devalues motherhood and fatherhood- How you can communicate truth with a hopeful, positive messageProfessor Pearcey also shares insights from her book Love Thy Body and explains how understanding worldview helps us defend life more effectively.
God has woven the need for relationships into the fabric of our DNA. Our culture, however, has hijacked what God intended for our good. If we're not careful, unhealthy relational advice can cause pain and destruction. But that doesn't have to be the case. God presents a different picture of relationships than our culture does. Instead of letting culture set the expectations for our marriages, families, friendships, etc., we're flipping the script and doing relationships God's way.
In Hour 2, Andy and Randy talk about the Browns QB competition and if the Raiders rookie QB is “mean enough”, the NBA Playoffs possibly seeing some teams advance after nobody closed out a series last night, and Backpage with Beau.
With their backs against the wall, the Knicks responded in a crucial Game 4, quieting the noise and shifting momentum in the series. Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber break down how the pressure on Mike Brown reached a boiling point and how his long awaited adjustments helped New York even things up heading back to Madison Square Garden. They dive into the decision to run the offense through Karl-Anthony Towns, the reduced role for Mikal Bridges, and whether those changes came too late to fully trust the coaching. The discussion also explores Bridges' uncertain impact moving forward, the importance of keeping him engaged, and why the Knicks may suddenly have the edge despite inconsistencies and a heavy reliance on outside shooting.
Between graduation teas, birthday parties, and showers, I attended a women's conference where my friend April Brock Scott taught a tool that completely shifted how I process my thoughts. We talk a lot about renewing our minds in our Whatever Letter community, but this framework gave me a clearer way to interrupt the cycle of stinking thinking. It starts with naming the emotion first, not the lie, because sometimes those lies are so sneaky we can't even identify them. In This Episode: The TEAR method: how our Thoughts create our Emotions, our Emotions drive our Actions, and our Actions create our Results in a powerful chain reaction Why starting with the emotion instead of the lie makes it easier to identify what's actually running on repeat in your head without you realizing it Walking through two real examples: feeling overwhelmed and feeling disappointed with God, and how flipping the script changes everything from your peace to your relationships A practical journaling exercise you can do right now: fold a paper in half, write out the negative cycle on one side, then flip it and write what's actually true on the other Connect with us! Send us Fan MailIn this special role-reversal episode of the Being An Engineer podcast, longtime host Aaron Moncur steps into the guest seat while previous guest Mike Romance takes over as interviewer.Aaron shares the story behind his journey from a laid-back childhood growing up in Hawaii to becoming the founder of Pipeline Design & Engineering in Phoenix, Arizona. After being laid off during the 2009 recession, Aaron faced a moment of uncertainty that ultimately pushed him to start his own engineering business—learning sales, marketing, and leadership along the way. What began as a one-person consulting effort grew into a thriving engineering services company focused on automation, custom machines, fixtures, and product development. During the conversation, Aaron reflects on the early challenges of entrepreneurship—cold-calling for his first customers, figuring out how to quote complex engineering projects, and learning to build a team and culture from the ground up. He also shares one of his favorite Pipeline stories: rallying his team to design and deliver two complex automated test systems in just ten weeks—an effort that required nights, weekends, and a fully committed team. The discussion also explores Aaron's broader mission: accelerating the speed of engineering by sharing knowledge across the industry. That vision led to the creation of the Being An Engineer podcast, the online engineering community The Wave, the PDX – Product Development Expo, and Pipeline's CAD Club for middle and high school students. Together, these initiatives aim to highlight the often-unsung role engineers play in shaping the modern world. Along the way, Aaron and Mike dive into topics like engineering education versus real-world learning, the challenges of running an engineering services business, the importance of culture and leadership, and why engineers deserve more recognition for the impact they have on society. If you've ever wondered how Being An Engineer started—or what drives the person behind the microphone—this episode offers a candid look at the story, philosophy, and vision behind the show. Jesus' Palm Sunday ride into Jerusalem wasn't the kind of entrance you'd expect from a king—and that's the point. Everything about how Jesus showed up flipped the script on power, purpose, and what it means to follow someone worth everything. Jesus showed up in a way that invites us to see him with fresh eyes and rediscover the joy of who he really is. It's not loud, flashy, or expected—but it's real, personal, and full of meaning.

"Kids don't need perfect parents—they need united ones!"In this message, Pastor Wayne drops wisdom on building strong families through unified parenting.
""The giants today are my testimony tomorrow!""Pastor Wayne breaks down how fear kept Israel from their promise, but faith opens doors to victory.
Carl and Mike close out the show with final thoughts on the Hawks win over the Pacers today to extend their win streak to three games in a row and agree it is good to see them get the win as they have been struggling of late. They then get back to Falcons talks as they share thoughts on why the Falcons have to find a way to be one of the teams 'to flip the script' after seeing the Patriots reach the playoffs in Mike Vrabel's first season as their head coach and Drake Maye's second year as QB1.
"The greatest warfare isn't casting out demons—it's crucifying the flesh daily."In this message, Pastor Wayne teaches us how we can crucify the flesh by daily denying it authority and choosing Spirit-led obedience over self-led desire.
Why Most Agile Teams Build Features Instead of Value and How To Flip the ScriptFor a long time, I believed that the number of features we shipped was a sign of a healthy product team. New capabilities meant progress. More releases meant momentum. A packed roadmap meant ambition. And during sprint reviews, when we showcased everything we had delivered, I felt proud as if quantity itself was proof of impact. But something always nagged me. After each launch, I would look at the data or talk to users and feel this uncomfortable tension between what we had built and what had actually changed. The features were there, polished, documented, deployed but the world around them stayed strangely still. The metric didn't move. The user behavior didn't shift. We were launching features into the void, and the void was yawning back. How to connect with AgileDad:- [website] https://www.agiledad.com/- [instagram] https://www.instagram.com/agile_coach/- [facebook] https://www.facebook.com/RealAgileDad/- [Linkedin] https://www.linkedin.com/in/leehenson/

(3:00) He shares a story of how the locals were friendly and helpful. He didn't, however, engage with a pina colada as planned. The first caller is Ty. He got to meet Anna at a fundraising comedy show, and it was better than Disneyland. (17:00) He and his partner, Michelle, are members of the VIP group and love the community. (19:00) Ty's question: Summarize for newcomers to NSNG, the easiest first step one can take when starting. Anna: Start with your favorite proteins and build around that. Grilling and stovetop first—quicker and easier to get into. (25:00) Vinnie reminds you to be mindful, but avoid being carb-phobic. Cruciferous veggies are your friend. (29:00) Second call-in guest is Trish: Trish has been NSNG off and on for years. She is struggling to get back into it mentally. They discuss various reasons. Be careful of the story you tell yourself. You need to flip the script in your head. (40:00) Leslie is starting her own trail mix company with clean ingredients. (43:00) She's done a lot of research, and it'll be especially great for camping and hiking. Nutrition and Meds Amy is the next caller, and she has a nutrition question. She recently had an intestinal blockage and was in the hospital. (53:00) They discuss possible options as Amy transitions back to regular foods from IV fluids. She is a former triathlete who wants to transition into weight training. (59:30) You can get strong without hours of training. Wayne is next and needs to be wearing some different t-shirt merch. (1:24:00) He tried to transition slowly into NSNG—he's not a "cold turkey" kind of person. He has some concerns with his blood pressure and the medication he is on. Vinnie does not give medical advice, but they discuss what could be causing it. They advise Wayne to get a full health workup and to let his doctor know that he has changed his meds. (1:25:00) Never stop medications without consulting your doctor first!
