“Just End The Show†is your weekly podcast by Jets fans, for Jets fans. Because misery loves company. Hosted by lifelong Jets fans Seth Wallach, Colin Kuntzler and Kevin Thomas, Just End The Show brings you game reaction and analysis each week, a preview of the week ahead, team news and insights, gambling and fantasy advice, and so much more. But mostly… we’re just here to laugh and cry with you every week.
Rob Saleh refuses to remove a clearly broken Mike White, and the Jets drop a tough one to the Bills. [UPDATE: Mike White has been ruled out against the Lions so our “Jets Bets” segment is null and void!] Some questionable-at-best coaching decisions in game, and Seth and Kevin are beginning to spiral. Is this the beginning of the end?
The Jets drop a heartbreaker to the Vikings, but there were plenty of bright spots in this one. Mike White leads a two-score comeback, Greg the Leg is an absolute machine, and in case you haven't noticed: Garrett Wilson is THAT GUY. Seth and Kevin take stock after a game that got away. Don't panic against Buffalo. The playoffs are still within reach.
The Mike White stancast is BACK as our hero leads a commanding 31-10 victory over the Bears, and Seth and Kevin are in full victory-lap mode. The sky is the limit for this Jets team with Mike White under center and we're feeling confident even going into Minnesota next week. Stellar individual performances all around in this one, including a record-setting NFL debut for Zonovan “Bam” Knight! Who's smarter than us?!
We've learned to stomach losing to the Patriots, but not quite like this, man. Zach Wilson somehow finds a way to play worse, and the inevitable has finally become a reality. Bring on the Mike White era. Seth and Kevin discuss the worst QB performance in Jets history, heap some praise on a defense that deserved better, and get you ready for next week against the Bears. We for one, are hoping for a Trevor Siemian revenge game.
We apologize for yelling but THE JETS BEAT THE BUFFALO F*CKING BILLS! Seth and Kevin have no idea how to act after this unfathomable win: possibly the biggest [regular season] victory of their Jets fan lives. High marks all around for this coaching staff, especially Offensive Coordinator Mike LaFleur. The NFL's #1 defense did their thing in this one, and the sky's the limit for this Jets team. Do we need to change our theme song?
Stop me if you've heard this one before… the Jets lost to the New England Patriots on Sunday. Zach Wilson throws away a winnable game at Metlife as the Patriots cruise to their 13th straight win against the Jets. Our quarterback may be trash but our guests are all class! Friend of the show and in-house Patriots analyst Johnny Kristofferson is back! Some trade deadline talk as well, and it wouldn't be an episode of JETS without a little SAUUUCE!
The Jets beat the Broncos on Sunday, but at what cost? Young stars Breece Hall and Alijah Vera-Tucker are done for the year, and we gotta say, this one feels pretty hollow. Seth and Kevin are sucking down copium as Joe Douglas makes the move for Breece's replacement, and speaking of sucking, how about those announcers on Sunday? Elijah Moore wants out, but we're stuck with this team forever. No rest for the weary, it's Patriots week. Never a dull day in Jetsland.
This is not a drill! The New York Jets are good! Sauce and the boys pound the Packers in Lambeau for their third straight win. It's a double-dip episode as we talk Dolphins week as well, plus a look ahead to another winnable game in Denver. Seth may have to move to Greece to keep the good vibes going.
It's our second victory episode in four weeks as the Jets ruin Kenny Pickett's NFL debut with three interceptions and possibly end Mitch Trubisky's career? Lucky for us we've got the world's last remaining Trubisky Truther to help us break it all down. It's Dan's JETS debut!! Zach is back! Hide your wives! Some Dolphins talk as well. This was a fun one.
The Jets get outclassed by the reigning AFC Champs 27-12 and it never felt that close. We're on to Plan D at left tackle as Connor McDermott can't keep Joe Flacco upright in this one. Seth and Kevin hand out their first "player of the game" honors and look ahead to the return of Zach Wilson against Pittsburgh. Apologies for the late ep, everybody.
The Cleveland Browns have absolutely outdone themselves this time, and we could not be more appreciative. The Jets get their first win of the year in stunning fashion, as the unlikeliest of heroes leads the unlikeliest of comebacks. It ain't over till it's over. Seth and Kevin break down an unbelievable win in Cleveland and look ahead to a Week 3 against the Bengals.
It's only been a week but safe to say we were right about everything. Joe's gotta go. Seth & Kevin discuss the good, the bad, and the should-be-retired of a predictable week one loss to Baltimore. Kevin reveals his top 10 QB's he would rather start than Joe Flacco, plus a look ahead to next week against the Browns. Can we sign Lamar Jackson in free agency?
Did you miss us? Football season is back and so is your favorite Jets podcast, here to laugh and cry with you through another season of New York Jets football. Seth and Kevin take you through the entire 2022 Jets 53-man roster and give their predictions for the season, including Week 1 against Baltimore. Maybe, just maybe, things will get a little easier this season. SAUCEEEEEE!
The season may be over for the Jets, but New York has given us plenty of reason to keep watching football if you know what we mean. Seth and Kevin wrap up the Jets season finale in Buffalo and we say goodbye to those we lost [to free agency] in 2022.Just End The Show will return in April for the NFL Draft, but we won't rule out an emergency episode or two before then so stay tuned.
A predictable ending sure, but this one was worth watching. Zach Wilson the franchise QB has arrived, though we can't say the same for Antonio Brown. Have we mentioned there's never a dull day in Jetsland?
We did say it was going to be a weird one... Zach Wilson has his best performance of the year as the Jets hang on to defeat the Jaguars 26-21. Seth and Kevin discuss some of the more "interesting" coaching decisions in this one, go on a beer run before Tom Brady comes to town, and have some serious questions for Hall of Fame nomad Josh Johnson.
A true rivalry match in the AFC Least. Who will be worse: Tua or Zach? Only time will tell. Seth and Kevin recap a surprisingly entertaining Jets/Dolphins game, sing the praises of our new hero Eddie Piniero, and reveal their most egregious gambling mistakes of the year. Some Jaguars week talk too of course. Our last winnable game!
We told you this one was a winnable game and we were right ... for about three quarters. Taysom Hill didn't even need all of his fingers to blow this one open late. The Jets lose to the Saints 30-9 as "Christian Zachenburg" rears his ugly head again. Seth and Kevin break down another ugly one and look ahead to Dolphins week part deux. Gamblers beware.
It's gotta be the mustache, right? Gardner Minshew and the Eagles light up the Jets secondary on route to an easy victory. Alex Kessman we hardly knew yee. A full recap of Eagles week plus a preview of Saints week. A winnable game! (We think)
It's upsetting we have to ask this after a victory, but is Zach Wilson a bust? What NFL teams would you not trade QB's with? Seth and Kevin discuss, plus a preview of Eagles week. Spoiler alert: we still like Gardner Minshew.
The Jets are bad. The Dolphins are also bad. Just less bad? This one goes exactly how you'd expect it to. Seth and Kevin wrap up a predictable snoozefest at the Meadowlands, officially say goodbye to Matt Ammendola, and give their predictions for next week's game against frisky Houston! It's a Toilet Bowl!
The Jets got absolutely demolished by the Bills and we can't say we didn't see this one coming. Managing Editor of USA Today's “Bills Wire” and friend of the pod Nick Wojton joins Seth and Kevin to discuss why this one got so out of hand. We talk Buffalo's recent success and what it's like to root for a good team after decades of disappoint (because we genuinely can't relate). The guys rank their NFL fan misery top five plus some Dolphins talk as we look ahead to next week. Remember Jets fans: there's always a rockier bottom…
Our savior has fallen and we can't get up. Jonathan Taylor and the Colts drub the Jets after Mike White is forced to leave the game with an injury. Matt Johnson of "Colts Fans in Bills Land" stops by to help us break it all down, plus a preview of the week ahead again Buffalo. Who will start at quarterback? Zach Wilson? Mike White? Josh Johnson? Joe Flacco? What's Vinny Testeverde up to these days?
Welcome to the Mike White stancast! The Jets somehow beat the Bengals 34-31 and it's Mike White Mania at Metlife! Seth and Kevin have some apologies to make as they break down this wild win. A preview of next week's game against the Colts as well. Never a dull day in Jetsland!
In-House Patriots Analyst Johnny Kristofferson joins the show to discuss the Jets 54-13 loss to the Patriots. Is Mac Jones good? Plus what to expect against the Bengals next week as we officially begin the Mike White era, and Joe Flacco is back! So that's … something?
The Jets dug themselves a hole they just couldn't dig out of on Sunday. Even the Falcons couldn't blow this lead. Seth and Kevin discuss the team's latest loss in London and check in at the BYE week to take a look at the schedule ahead. Winnable games! (maybe?)
THIS IS NOT A DRILL! The New York Jets have won a game! We talk about how the f*ck that happened, what went right, what went wrong, and what they'll need to do to make it happen again next week across the pond. A full preview of next week's game against the Falcons in London plus the latest on Marcus Maye watch 2021. Never a dull day in Jets land.
It never gets any easier. The Jets scored zero points on Sunday. Zero points. It literally can't get any worse... right? The boys recap what went wrong in Denver and preview the week ahead against Derrick Henry and the Titans. Is it too early for draft talk?
It was a rough afternoon for Zach WIlson, but Seth and Kevin aren't pushing the panic button just yet. Remember Jets fans: there's always a rockier bottom. The boys recap a week 2 loss to New England and preview the week ahead against Teddy Two Gloves and the Broncos.
