This week we heard House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) signal that President Biden's $3.5-trillion Build Back Better spending bill will have to be trimmed down in order for it to get enough votes to pass both houses. So which programs get prioritized and which get cut from the bill? Jared and FOX News Congressional Correspondent Chad Pergram discuss the latest on the spending bill negotiations. Who will control Congress after the 2022 Midterms? Many Americans aren't thinking of the next year's elections yet, but one element that could potentially impact the upcoming midterms is redistricting. Kyle Kondik, Managing Editor, Sabato's Crystal Ball at UVA Center for Politics and author of the new book "The Long Red Thread: How Democratic Dominance Gave Way to Republican Advantage in US House Elections" breaks down what to expect from redistricting and who will benefit from it in the upcoming elections.

Farahnaz Ispahani is a Public Policy Fellow at the Wilson Center in Washington, DC and the author of the book Purifying The Land of The Pure: The History of Pakistan's Religious Minorities (Oxford University Press, 2017). In 2015, she was a Reagan-Fascell Scholar at the National Endowment for Democracy, where she worked on women and extremist groups with a particular focus on the women of ISIS. A Pakistani politician, Ispahani served as a Member of Parliament and Media Advisor to the President of Pakistan from 2008-2012. She returned to Pakistan with Former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto in 2007 after opposing the Musharraf dictatorship in the preceding years. In Parliament she focused on the issues of terrorism, human rights, gender based violence, minority rights and US-Pakistan relations. The most notable pieces of legislation enacted with her active support include those relating to Women's Harassment in the Workplace and Acid Crimes and Control, which made disfiguring of women by throwing acid at them a major crime. She was also a member of the Women's caucus in the 13th National Assembly, which was instrumental in introducing more legislation on women's issues than has ever been done before during a single parliamentary term. Ms. Ispahani spent the formative years of her career as a print and television journalist. Her last journalistic position was as Executive Producer and Managing Editor of Voice of America's Urdu TV. She has also worked at ABC News, CNN and MSNBC. She has contributed opinion pieces to The Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, The National Review, and others.

James Aquilone was raised on Saturday morning cartoons, comic books, sitcoms, and Cap'n Crunch. Amid the Cold War, he dreamed of being a jet fighter pilot but decided against military life after realizing it would require him to wake up early. He had further illusions of being a stand-up comedian until a traumatic experience on stage forced him to seek a college education. Brief stints as an alternative rock singer/guitarist and child model also proved unsuccessful. Today he battles a severe chess addiction while trying to write in the speculative fiction game.He writes the Dead Jack series of horror/fantasy novels and short stories. The books have been optioned and a TV series is in development. His short fiction has been published in such places as Nature's Futures, The Best of Galaxy's Edge 2013-2014, Unidentified Funny Objects 4, and Weird Tales magazine. James is also the Managing Editor of Weird Tales magazine and is editing the upcoming anthology Classic Monsters Unleashed for Crystal Lake Publishing and Black Spot Books. On "EWTN News Nightly" tonight: A federal judge has suspended the pro-life Texas Heartbeat Law that bans abortions after a baby's heartbeat is detected. Host and Managing Editor of EWTN Pro-Life Weekly, Catherine Hadro, joins to share her reaction and what this ruling means for the Texas law. Pro-life groups announced they “are confident that the Texas Heartbeat Act will ultimately withstand this legal challenge.” The White House says the law violates women's rights to “safe and legal abortion.” As the Senate continues to work on the debt ceiling, Congressional Republicans want action on stopping the flow of illegal migrants surging into the country. Republicans say President Biden and the vice president are ignoring the crisis at the Southern Border. And, there are new developments in the trial at the Vatican of Cardinal Angelo Becciu and others accused of mismanagement of funds. The defense acknowledged weakness in its case and said it will do more investigating. The trial will resume on November 17th. Vatican Analyst for EWTN News, Andrea Gagliarducci, brings us up to speed on the trial. Finally this evening, a few weeks ago we had pro-life filmmaker and President of the Vulnerable People Project, Jason Jones, on the show to talk about the work his organization is doing for Afghanistan. The interview helped him get in contact with an American citizen seeking to get out of the country. Jones tells us more on that.
