Skye Marsh from SWEAR give us the update! Toucan Sam flew into a homeowners garage in the the northwest part of the valley and was able to get rescued! The homeowner, who knew about the missing toucan, quickly shut the garage door to keep him from escaping and called for help. Members of Southwest Exotic Avian Rescue rushed over and were able to safely catch him. Sam was taken to Aloha Animal Hospital, where vets said he was dehydrated and missing a few head feathers, but otherwise okay.
