If you listened to last week's episode, you know this series isn't about demonizing the internet or pretending we can all move to the woods. That would be nice sometimes— real life gets exhausting. Uncomfortable. Hard. Confusing. But also, it is soooooooo good and so sweet— and my fear? That we miss so much of that. Not because we aren't “spiritual enough” or because our faith is lacking; it is simply due to a lack of awareness.Online isn't the enemy.Constant availability is.When we live perpetually “on,” something in us begins to thin out—our awareness, our presence, our capacity to receive what God is actually doing right in front of us.**More in-depth notes and outlines on https://cleerelystated.substack.com/

It is possible to practice the rhythms of faith and still miss the Person those rhythms were meant to lead us to. We can read Scripture, attend church, adopt the language of discipleship, and build entire spiritual lives around the habits of Jesus—while quietly drifting from intimacy with Jesus Himself. This week on Win Today, Hosanna Wong joins me for a clarifying and deeply confronting conversation about the difference between performing Christianity and actually knowing God. We examine how selective obedience slowly erodes intimacy with Him, why legalism has learned to rebrand itself as passion for holiness, and how seasons of hiddenness and crushing are often the environments where authentic discipleship is formed. Hosanna also unpacks six roadblocks that frequently prevent believers from experiencing genuine connection with God, revealing how easy it is to substitute religious activity for relational transformation. The invitation of Jesus has never been behavior management or spiritual performance—it is repentance, surrender, and relationship. If you've been doing the practices of faith but still feel distant from God… if you've sensed the quiet conviction that something deeper is being asked of you, or if you're realizing that obedience in some areas has been selective rather than surrendered, this episode will bring needed clarity. Guest Bio Hosanna Wong is an international speaker, best-selling author, and spoken word artist known for helping everyday people know Jesus in a real and personal way. Widely recognized for her viral spoken word piece "I Have A New Name," Hosanna shares her message in churches, conferences, prisons, and ministries around the world, reaching across denominations, cultures, and backgrounds. Raised in an urban ministry on the streets of San Francisco, she later spent years traveling throughout the United States speaking and sharing the gospel through spoken word poetry while living out of suitcases. Through her speaking, writing, and creative work, Hosanna equips believers to deepen their relationship with God and pursue authentic discipleship. Geordie and Michelle deep dive a confusing Australian true-crime case: Gilham family murders. In 1993 in Woronora, Australia, Stephen and Helen Gilham were stabbed to death, their house was set on fire and their son Christopher was found dead downstairs from multiple stab wounds. Older son, Jeffrey Gilham, claimed he had been sleeping in a boatshed in the back yard before rushing to the house after hearing screams, telling police his brother Christopher confessed to killing their parents before setting their mother's body on fire. Jeffrey admitted stabbing his brother in a rage and initially pleaded guilty to manslaughter, however, after a few plot twists, prosecutors eventually charged Jeffrey with the murder of his parents as well. But that's not the end of this true-crime story... Listen now to discover how Jeffrey was eventually released from prison and why his conviction was overturned. So grab a brown lemonade and settle in as the duo chat the Epstein case, Andrew Mount-Batten and reality TV, only on Eavesdroppin' comedy podcast. Tonight we're breaking down WWE NXT from March 10th, 2026, and folks… this show had some good wrestling, some strange decisions, and a few moments that made you say “what exactly are we doing here?”We start the show with new NXT Women's North American Champion Tatum Paxley celebrating her title win. The fans were behind her and chanting “you deserve it,” which was nice to see.But the celebration didn't last long.Izzi Dame interrupts, plays a video package exposing Paxley's past in NXT, and claims her current personality is just another mask hiding the “weirdo” she's always been. Then things get worse.Dame, with Shawn Spears and Niko Vance from The Culling, traps Paxley in the ring and destroys her with a jackknife powerbomb while holding up the championship. So the brand new champion immediately looks like a complete dork on the very first night with the title.Interesting booking decision. We also got a very strange triple threat between Jasper Troy, Eli Knight, and Sean Legacy that ended in a double pin — yes, a double pin in a triple threat. Confusing finish. Then we had a major storyline development.Charlie Dempsey and Tavion Heights vs Lexis King and Uriah Connors looked like a normal tag match… until Dempsey turned on Heights with a brutal German suplex on the floor. After the match, with William Regal and Finlay watching, Dempsey officially joined The Birthright faction.Huge development.Tony D'Angelo also issued a serious warning to NXT Champion Joe Hendry, making it clear that winning the NXT Championship is now his mission.Other highlights included:• Sol Ruca defeating Lainey Reid with the Sol Snatcher in a fun match• Thea Hail winning the Speed Tournament to earn a title match next week• A strong tag team main event featuring Ethan Page & Ricky Saints vs Joe Hendry & Myles BorneThe big shock?Ethan Page pinned NXT Champion Joe Hendry after hitting the Twisted Grin behind the referee's back.Overall this was a solid NXT episode with a few questionable moments and some interesting storyline developments. We break down everything that happened on the show, what worked, what didn't, and where things might be heading next.Visit our website ➡️➡️➡️ https://www.majesticproduction.com/Watch our full podcast here ➡️➡️➡️ anchor.fm/majestic-production
Medicare is one of the most confusing parts of retirement planning. In this episode, Alex and Wade break down the basics, including the difference between Medicare Parts and Plans and the key choice retirees face between Original Medicare (Parts A, B, and usually D with a supplement) and Medicare Advantage (Part C). They discuss the tradeoffs between lower premiums and provider flexibility, how Medigap supplements like Plan G can reduce out-of-pocket costs, and why switching from Medicare Advantage to a supplement later may not always be possible. The conversation also touches on what Medicare does not cover and how retirees can estimate healthcare costs as part of their retirement plan. Listen now to learn more! Takeaways Most Americans become eligible for Medicare at age 65. Retirees must choose between Original Medicare (Parts A, B, and usually D) or Medicare Advantage (Part C). Medigap supplements, such as Plan G, can help cover deductibles and coinsurance with Original Medicare. Original Medicare offers broader provider access, while Medicare Advantage often has lower premiums but network restrictions. Switching from Medicare Advantage to a supplement later may require medical underwriting. Dental, vision, hearing, and long-term care are generally not fully covered by Medicare. Retirees can compare options using Medicare.gov's Plan Finder or an independent broker. In today's episode, I'm diving into something that so many people get wrong in modern dating: confusing intense chemistry with actual compatibility. If you've ever felt swept up in emotional intensity only to realize later that the relationship wasn't healthy or aligned, you are not alone. We're talking about what secure attachment actually looks like while dating, how to stop letting your nervous system lead you into the same patterns, and how to show up as the calm, grounded, securely attached version of yourself who gathers real data about a partner instead of projecting fantasy.Inside this episode:Why modern dating trains us to chase chemistry and intensity and how this keeps insecure attachment patterns aliveThe mindset shift of becoming a “securely attached dating scientist” who gathers real data about compatibilityWhat secure attachment actually feels like in dating: peace, emotional safety, curiosity, and consistencyIf you've been stuck in cycles with avoidant or emotionally unavailable partners… if relationships keep starting fast and burning out… or if you're ready to finally experience a calm, healthy, secure love, this episode will give you a new framework for how to show up differently.Because the truth is: secure love doesn't start with trying harder or going on more dates. It starts with rewiring your identity, healing your nervous system, and learning how to trust yourself again. And when you do that work, you stop chasing relationships that drain you and start attracting the kind of partnership that truly adds to your life.Want support in doing this work at the deepest level? At the beginning of the episode, I mentioned my Empowered.Secure.Loved Private Coaching program, where we help you completely rewire your attachment patterns and step into your securely attached identity so you can attract and maintain the healthy relationship you deserve. You can apply for Private 1:1 Coaching here: https://www.drmorgancoaching.co/esl-breakthrough
Julia Dhar, Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group and founder of the firm's Behavioral Science Lab, joins us to discuss why most organizational change efforts fail and what leaders can do differently. Drawing on behavioral science and her work advising major organizations, she explains why the challenge of change is rarely about strategy alone and more often about human behavior. Julia begins with a simple but powerful discipline used by many successful consultants: asking two questions repeatedly. First, "what is true about this situation?" and second, "what do I believe is true because of my perspective?" Confusing facts with assumptions is one of the most common causes of poor decisions, especially when leaders begin to treat their own expectations as evidence. The conversation explores why roughly seventy percent of organizational change efforts fail to reach their stated objectives. Julia explains that many leadership teams concentrate on defining the strategy but devote far less attention to the conditions required for people to adopt new behaviors. Successful organizations focus on the "how" of change: shaping incentives, clarifying expectations, and reinforcing specific behaviors that make a strategy real in daily work. Several practical insights emerge from the discussion: Leaders often overestimate how comfortable employees are with change. In surveys, executives typically report feeling positive about change, while most employees feel neutral and a meaningful portion feel anxious. Recognizing this gap is the first step toward leading change effectively. Emotions and incentives must be addressed together. People rarely adopt behaviors that conflict with their incentives, and fear or anxiety makes sustained change unlikely. Leaders who want durable change must create optimism about the future, give people agency in shaping how change unfolds, and offer clarity about expectations. Behavior must be defined precisely. Broad goals such as "be more accountable" or "be more customer centric" are not actionable. Effective change requires specifying the exact behaviors expected and creating routines that make those behaviors repeatable. Recognition plays a powerful role in shaping behavior. Leaders who identify and praise specific actions reinforce the habits they want to see more frequently, often at little cost and with lasting effect. Organizations frequently underestimate the value of listening. Employees are usually willing to provide feedback, but they become disengaged when their input leads to no visible response. Closing the feedback loop—demonstrating that input leads to action—builds credibility and energy for change. Julia also discusses the pressures executives face as organizations adopt new technologies such as artificial intelligence. Rather than framing the challenge as a threat to relevance, she argues that automation may free leaders to focus on neglected responsibilities, including understanding frontline work and strengthening human relationships across the organization. Throughout the discussion, she returns to a broader principle: effective strategy requires an equally disciplined approach to human behavior. Leaders who combine clear strategy with attention to emotions, incentives, habits, and feedback loops dramatically increase the likelihood that change will succeed. Julia closes with a perspective that reflects both her research and her experience advising organizations around the world. In any team or company, every individual has the ability to "bring joy and inspire hope." That ability, combined with the belief that people and organizations remain capable of change, is often the most powerful force available to leaders. Confusing messages are the only guarantee after the Cowichan ruling and the Musqueam deal. The August court case confirmed a First Nation band has “title” over B.C. land that belongs to private property owners, while the federal government's deal confirms Musqueam rights and title over Vancouver. Dwight Newman, a law professor specializing in Indigenous rights, tells Brian that assurances to private property owners that they won't lose their land only go so far. What might not be targeted today could be tomorrow, he says. They discuss how the court case and government deal, along with the growing power of UNDRIP in Canadian law, only give more power and leverage to First Nations. And not just in B.C., but across Canada. (Recorded March 5, 2026) Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Kyle Kauffman | Mar 8 2026 One of the most universal problems that people face in every culture and in every age is the problem of self. We may be prone to have to high a view of ourselves or too low a view of ourselves, but either way we are prone to think and focus on ourselves way too much. This was a problem in Corinth, and it remains a problem in our own day. So often we try to solve the problem of self by focusing more on ourselves with self-esteem, self-help, and self-care. This never cuts to the root of the issue and deals with the pride that is the source of all the problems with self. While we long to be free of the problem of self, none of our human solutions end up working. Only the gospel is able to liberate us from ourselves so that we can live a life of self-forgetfulness. This is what then frees us to joyfully live to glorify God and love others rather than being so focused on ourselves. This is what Paul found in Christ and this is what he invites us to find as well.

Is Lent actually a historic Christian practice… or did we just turn it into a 40 day sugar detox? In this episode, the guys unpack what Lent really is, what it means, and why Christians have observed it for centuries. They talk about the church calendar, fasting, repentance, spiritual discipline, and why the number 40 keeps showing up in Scripture. It is less about chocolate and more about formation. They also get honest about how Lent plays out in modern church culture. Is it meaningful? Performative? Confusing? Somewhere in between? This conversation looks at faith, leadership, family rhythms, and everyday discipleship without assuming everyone listening grew up with ashes on their forehead. Nate and Dr. Joseph Tillman approach the topic the way they approach everything else. Thoughtful. A little sarcastic. Not impressed by religious busywork. Curious about what actually shapes people over time. It is theology, but grounded in real life and real questions Christians and skeptics both tend to ask. Follow or subscribe to the podcast
Kyle Kauffman | Mar 1 2026 Many of the best gifts we receive in this life also come with responsibilities and challenges. Whether it is friendship, a job, marriage, children, owning a home, or any other gift, we can see how the gifts we are given also bring responsibilities and challenges in our lives. The same is true of ministry in the church. While Paul is mainly referring to himself and Apollos in 1 Corinthians 3:1-17, what he says here applies to every Christian. We are all called to minister to one another in the church. We have been given specific gifts, abilities, and interests that God wants us to use to love and serve one another. This ministry is both a gift and challenge for many reasons. And 1 Corinthians 3 is a great source of encouragement to us as we seek to do the work of ministry God has called us to.

Nicole Melillo Shaw, Managing Director of Volvo UK, joins Big Boss Interview at a pivotal moment for the electric vehicle market, as the company recalls 10,500 EX30 electric cars following four battery fires globally.“It's against everything we stand for,” she says, reflecting on a situation that challenges a brand built on nearly a century of safety leadership. Despite a global failure rate of just 0.02% and no fatalities, Volvo identified the root cause in late December and immediately instructed owners not to charge beyond 70% while a fix is implemented. Repairs are scheduled to begin in late March. For Volvo, the response reflects what she describes as a precautionary, safety-first culture, even when the commercial implications are uncomfortable.Melillo Shaw examines what the recall means for consumer confidence in electric vehicles — a technology already under heightened scrutiny — even though petrol vehicles statistically present a greater inherent fire risk due to flammable fuel systems. The recall comes as electric vehicle adoption remains slower than manufacturers once anticipated, despite annual growth exceeding 20%. Volvo's UK electric sales peaked at 28% following the EX30 launch but have since stabilised at just over 22 per cent as more than 160 additional models enter the market and buyers opt for “one more petrol” or hybrid before fully switching.Range anxiety, she argues, is no longer the central issue, but infrastructure concerns persist. Confusing government messaging — pairing incentives with discussions of pay-per-mile charges and benefit-in-kind changes — continues to add to consumer hesitation.Global instability adds further complexity. Volvo has been regionalising production, partly in response to tariff pressures, building vehicles closer to the markets in which they are sold. That turbulence elevates the UK's importance as Volvo's third-largest market, where a direct-to-consumer model has delivered 40% growth and lifted market share from 2.5% to 3.5%.Government Zero Emission Vehicle mandates now require manufacturers to meet steep electrification quotas or face fines of £12,000 per non-compliant vehicle from November. Volvo discontinued diesel models in the UK in 2023 and says it could sell 100% electric vehicles tomorrow if demand existed. However, meeting regulatory targets while absorbing development costs and discounting pressures presents a commercial balancing act. Finally, Melillo Shaw reflects on her own trajectory — from Scunthorpe through healthcare brands to automotive leadership. Volvo deliberately recruited her because she had never bought a car, valuing the perspective of someone who understood the anxiety of a major purchase. She argues the industry must broaden access and challenge assumptions about who belongs in automotive careers, creating clearer pathways for talent from working-class communities.

In this episode of The Birth Lounge Podcast, HeHe is joined by Tracy aka Modern Day Midwife (a hospital-based midwife in Arizona with a NICU background) for a candid, behind-the-scenes conversation about the realities of modern healthcare. Together, they unpack how the U.S. healthcare system is failing both patients and providers, from provider burnout and lack of mental health support to the pressures of hospital politics, insurance reimbursement, and productivity quotas. They explore the difference between “Medicine 1.0” (acute care) and “Medicine 2.0” (preventative care, functional medicine, wellness), and how insurance-driven, fee-for-service models often prioritize sick care over true health. The result? Confusing medical bills, rushed care, poor patient experiences, and providers who are stretched thin despite doing deeply meaningful work. HeHe and Tracy dive into the unique challenges facing women's health, maternity care, and birth: over-medicalization, the cascade of interventions, the limits of 10-minute OB-GYN appointments, maternity care deserts, and the need for individualized care, informed consent, and continuity of care. From ACOG guidelines to ever changing evidence and research, they explore possible solutions including a midwifery-led model of care, better transfer systems for home birth and birth center patients, coverage for doulas and health coaching, and shifting consumer demand away from traditional insurance and towards alternatives like health shares. Tracy shares her exciting vision for an integrated wellness hub that could include midwifery, obstetrics, pelvic floor PT, lactation, chiropractic care, and community-based health supports, and ends by sharing how to connect with her at Premier OB GYN in Phoenix and via Modern Day Midwife online and on Instagram. 00:00 Why Healthcare Breaks Providers 02:24 Burnout and Speaking Up 04:59 Fear and Privilege in Advocacy 07:18 Who Supports Clinicians 12:32 Medicine 1.0 vs Prevention 17:25 Billing Confusion and Fee for Service 19:06 Burn It Down or Reform It 23:55 Disrupting Insurance and Incentives 26:49 Birth Care Needs a New Model 29:36 Preeclampsia Prevention Debate 30:47 Rethinking Maternity Care Roles 32:04 Money in Wellness Care 34:55 Building a One Stop Birth Hub 37:43 Continuity Across Birth Settings 41:45 Evidence Based Medicine Reality Check 47:56 ACOG Guidelines vs Individual Choice 53:23 Demanding Individualized Care 55:11 Rebuilding Healthcare and Provider Support 56:59 Where to Find Tracy 58:15 Closing Thanks and Resources Guest Bio: Meet Tracy Burns, Board Certified Nurse Midwife. Dating today feels exhausting. Confusing. And for people from divorced or dysfunctional families, it can feel even heavier — because one wrong choice doesn't just mean heartbreak… it can feel like repeating your parents' story. In this episode, Joey sits down with Emily Wilson, Catholic author and co-founder of Sacred Spark, to talk about the most important factor in building a healthy marriage: choosing the right person — and why modern dating culture makes that decision harder than ever.Emily shares what she's learned from helping nearly 20 couples get married through her viral matchmaking posts, why you can't “analyze” your way into certainty, and how real discernment only happens when you actually meet people in real life.In this episode, we cover:Why choosing who you marry matters more than anything elseThe fear of repeating your parents' mistakes (and how to move past it)How real discernment happens through in-person datingA NEW way to meet high quality, virtuous peopleIf you're single, want marriage, but feel anxious, stuck, or afraid of choosing wrong — this episode is for you.Download Sacred SparkFREE Video Series: Dating 101Visit SacredSpark.appGet the Book or FREE chapters: It's Not Your FaultGet Dakota's FREE Guide, The Biggest Fitness Mistakes to AvoidWatch the Documentary: KennyWatch the Trailer: Kenny (3:31 min)Shownotes
Pregnancy is one of the only times in life where we're asked to think in weeks instead of months, and for many people, it's confusing, frustrating, and sometimes anxiety-provoking. In this episode, we break down how pregnancy is actually counted, why clinicians use weeks and days instead of months, and how to make sense of phrases like "halfway there," "almost seven months," or "full term." We also explain where these conventions came from, what they're used for medically, and how patients can translate them into something that feels more intuitive and human. If you've ever wondered: Why pregnancy is 40 weeks but "nine months" Why doctors talk in weeks and days What "halfway" really means Or why your app, your provider, and your friends all seem to be using different math This episode is for you. At Maternal Resources, we believe understanding your body and your pregnancy shouldn't feel like decoding a foreign language. Clear information is a form of care. What You'll Learn in This Episode How pregnancy is dated and why it starts before conception Why weeks (not months) matter for medical decision-making How months map onto weeks and where the confusion comes from What people mean when they say "halfway through pregnancy" How due dates are estimates, not expiration dates How to think about pregnancy in a way that's both medically accurate and emotionally grounded Pregnancy Counting, Explained Weeks and days are the medical language of pregnancy. Clinicians count pregnancy from the first day of the last menstrual period, not from conception. That's because ovulation and implantation vary, but menstrual cycles give us a consistent starting point. Using weeks allows for precision when it comes to growth, development, testing windows, and clinical decision-making. Months are less precise and that's where confusion begins. Calendar months don't divide evenly into pregnancy. Some months have four weeks, some have more. That's why "nine months pregnant" can mean different things depending on how you're counting. So what about being "halfway"? Halfway through pregnancy is around 20 weeks, not five months. This is often when people have anatomy scans and start to feel more connected to the pregnancy, which adds to the emotional weight of that milestone. Due dates are estimates, not deadlines. Only a small percentage of babies are born on their exact due date. Pregnancy is a range, not a single day, and understanding that can help reduce unnecessary stress. Episode 267 How We Learn From OthersSensers! I believe there's so many people that we meet in life as well as so many cultures and customs we come across. I also believe the various cutlures provide many ways for us to learn from the differences in which we come from in families and other forms of social groups. Ask yourself, what's something that you've learned from other cultures outside of your own?“If you can change one thing, then you change everything”, I believe most of us have heard this when it comes to things we would change about our past. However, looking back at how our lives went, what is something that you would have actually changed? There's much ground to go over in our minds when it comes to that, but what would you do?Expressing yourself in a perfect world seems so simple to accomplish, but in reality we all have dealt with the fears that our own worlds have put on us causing us to not say what we actually feel for fear of rejection or possibly that we might just get what we ask for emotionally. Telling how you feel to someone who feels they don't deserve love causing them to retort to old habits of chasing what does not love them. Confusing and frustrating one can be from experiencing such, but that's humans in short. Let's talk about vulnerability.May God and His Universe remove any negative energy you may have stored from reading this. If you dig the episode, click, like, and share on your page. Kyle Kauffman | Feb 2026We live in a day of almost limitless information and knowledge. We can access it all at the hands of our fingertips. And the ability to know and find more information will likely only increase as our technology continues to increase. But is all this information and knowledge making us wise? Or is it making us fools? God tells us in 1 Corinthians 2 that true wisdom is not the same as simply knowing more or being culturally or technologically savvy. Rather true wisdom is found trusting God even when trusting him seems to go against the wisdom of our day. This trust should lead us to seek wisdom in what God has revealed rather than simply in more knowledge and information. And this wisdom is displayed in pursuing a life of living more like Christ. It's this posture, source, and pursuit that define what true wisdom looks like in an age of limitless information and knowledge.

I stopped into a Shell station tonight to grab a couple things. Quick in and out. That was the plan. Instead I walked into one of those forced self checkout setups. No regular checkout. No cashier. Just this open area with cameras hanging over it where you're supposed to set your stuff down and trust that some mystery system scans every barcode at once. It is not a normal self checkout with a screen and a scanner you control. It's just awkward. Confusing. And honestly a little uncomfortable. I asked the person behind the counter if I had to use it. She said no, she could check me out “over there,” pointing at the regular register. The same register that was blocked off and covered in signs telling everyone to use the self checkout. So clearly that was not the plan. She was visibly irritated that I even asked. She rang me up manually. Didn't ask if I needed a bag. I had four items that were not exactly pocket sized. Didn't offer a receipt. The whole interaction felt like I was a problem for simply wanting to pay for what I was buying. What happened to basic customer service? Nobody asks if you need a bag anymore. They just assume you don't. You get side eyed if you want to use cash. And more and more, it feels like asking someone to do the core function of their job is some massive inconvenience. I work in customer service every day. Different space. Software, podcast hosting, support tickets, real technical problems. But the principle is the same. When someone asks for help, especially something completely reasonable and within scope, you help them. You do not act annoyed. You do not make them feel like they are in the way. And you definitely do not expect applause (A Tip) for doing the bare minimum.
On Friday's Mark Levin Show, the Supreme Court majority issued a very messy and problematic decision on tariffs. The fact is the majority agreed on an outcome but not so much on the reasoning for the outcome. It struck tariffs under a single statute, yet created chaos or, actually, left it to the president to decide if and/or how to treat the revenue those tariffs already created for the federal Treasury. The question is not who has the power to tax per se, but a more complicated question about where the separation of powers is. The majority, apparently, chose to duck the question and stick with the indirect tax characterization and focus on a single statute, which is outrageous. Also, Tucker Carlson is an indecent grifter with inexplicable ties to Qatar and an attraction to the Third Reich. He is gravely damaging the Republican Party, the midterm elections, and the Trump administration. Later, Jon Levine of the Washington Free Beacon calls in to explain that NYC Mayor Mamdani is fulfilling his campaign promises by staffing his administration with individuals from radical Islamist and far-left progressive circles, united by a shared hatred of the West and Jews. Mamdani is also pressuring Governor Hochul to impose a wealth tax by threatening massive property tax increases on roughly 3 million homeowners—effectively holding the entire city hostage in a "look what you made me do" tactic. If you're trying to grow closer to Jesus and keep hitting resistance, you're not alone—and you're not failing. In today's MY Devotional, Dr. Michael Youssef shows why obstacles are part of the journey of faith and how your response to them can either stifle spiritual growth or strengthen it.You'll learn the three common blockers that quietly weaken intimacy with Christ:An inability to accept correction — A teachable heart is a clear sign of maturity. In Episode 339 of My Favorite Mistake, Mark Graban talks with Genevieve Skory, executive coach and former Chief Field Development Officer, about a leadership mistake that many high performers make: confusing performance with alignment. Episode page with links, video, and more For years, Genevieve defined winning by revenue and results. Pressure was normal. Constant pivoting felt strategic. Intensity was rewarded. The numbers came in — but so did exhaustion, turnover, and a culture operating in fight-or-flight mode. In this conversation, we explore the hidden cost of performance-at-all-costs leadership, the neuroscience behind fear-driven decision-making, and why teams don't always tell leaders the truth when the environment feels unsafe. Genevieve shares what changed for her and how she now helps ambitious leaders build sustainable success without burnout. If you've ever sensed that strong results were masking deeper misalignment, this episode will resonate.
