In this episode, Santana accidentally comes up with a slogan for Nerdacious Behavior: What's the point?   She also learns about her Myers-Briggs type (ISFP) and Yvette learns why she likes Santana so much (and why she should find more ISFP friends).  At first Santana rejects the notion that she is artistic and immediately thereafter gets inspired to turn a collection of (two) lighters into a piece of art.   Then Santana complains about dating and catch-fishing and Yvette asks potential Santana suitors to submit their materials of interest to NerdaciousBehavior@gmail.com for evaluation by Yvette the fire-breathing dragon.   --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/NerdaciousBehavior/message

Have you ever wondered what the most beautiful black woman in the room is thinking?  Lucky for you, she's been one of Yvette’s best friends for over a decade and has little, if any filter. In this episode lovelY (Yvette’s given name in colorful circles) interviews Black Kryptonite (aka Samantha) who offers listeners unique insights on dating and adulting that only a stunning, bisexual African American attorney in her 30s who is looking for a health conscious life-partner can give.  Listen as the two law nerds openly discuss the impending obsolescence of contract law, age purgatory, women’s intuition, the joys of delayed gratification, why Yvette thinks no one is good enough for Samantha, the unpredictability of chemistry, pretentious polyamorous ugmos, Samantha’s quick-exit first date strategy, puppy fever, a taste of Yvette’s kitchen witch tips, the Shakespearean nature of the hormone monster gender libido divide and Yvette’s 19th century dating sensibilities. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/NerdaciousBehavior/message

In this episode, Santana and Yvette warn listeners about the innate deficiencies in a vegan plant-based diet (like zinc, selenium, protein, iron, D, A, B12, calcium, long-chain omega-3 fatty acids, iodine and DHA), literally most of which play important roles in balancIng hormones they just learned the hard way after several ER trips, google searches and at least one nipple lancing.  On a related note, Yvette wants to start organizing anti-vegan advocates and making cheese. Then Santana talks about her first acupuncture experience and Yvette loses friends over her relentless enthusiasm for Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Afterwards, with no warning or segue, the two spend 40 minutes discussing what their very different types have in common with octopuses and one 8 week old puppy.   --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/NerdaciousBehavior/message

Welcome to the first episode of Nerdacious Behavior! The new podcast where audacious nerds, Santana and Yvette, discuss their pursuit of wellness, mild attempts at dating and other hilarities of adulting. In this episode, Santana spends the first half recommending the documentary What the Health (even though it catalyzed a vegan experiment that is making her feel like death) before segueing into her dream career of eating donated shellfish. In the second half, for the first time ever, Yvette remembers to tell someone about the nightmare she had before being on Eddie Pepitone's podcast last week and her Neal Brennan inspired Aspergers Syndrome. Please like and subscribe and tell us that we're pretty and smart and that you want to give us cool jobs that pay loads of money so we can buy a second microphone. PS this draft was accidentally published when the podcast was put on the back burner because Yvette was in the hospital. We haven’t listened to it but we hear the audio gets better. On a related note, we’re very open to working with a volunteer producer or sound engineer since we’re just talent and can’t actually do most things. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/NerdaciousBehavior/message
