Citações e trechos do livro “A Marvelous Garland of Rare Gems”, de Nyoshul Khenpo Rinpoche.

Pretend you are walking along a trail, he explained, and there is a cliff in 500 yards. The catch: The cliff is death and we will all walk off it. “Buddha died. Jesus died. You will die. I will die. I would like to die on that bed,” said the Khenpo, pointing to a twin mattress on the floor. “Don't you want to know that there's a cliff?” he asked. Because only then can we change our course. We could take a more scenic route, notice the beauty of the trail before it ends, say the things we truly want to say to the people we're walking it with.

The Heart Sutra(བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་མ་ཤེས་རབ་ཀྱི་ཕ་རོལ་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་པའི་སྙིང་པོ) is the most widely known sutra of the Mahayana tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. It is part of the Prajnaparamita Sutras, which is a collection of about 40 sutras composed between 100 BCE and 500 CE. The Heart Sutra is a presentation of profound wisdom on the nature of emptiness. The Sutra famously states, "Form is emptiness (śūnyatā), emptiness is form." It is a condensed exposé on the Buddhist Mahayana teaching of the Two Truths doctrine, which says that ultimately all phenomena are sunyata, empty of an unchanging essence. This emptiness is a 'characteristic' of all phenomena, and not a transcendent reality, but also "empty" of essence of its own. Specifically, it is a response to Sarvastivada's teachings that "phenomena" or its constituents are real. It has been called "the most frequently used and recited text in the entire Mahayana Buddhist tradition." The text has been translated into English dozens of times from Chinese, Sanskrit, and Tibetan as well as other source languages. Khenpo Karma Tseten is a scholar and a dharma teacher based in Rumtek Shedra, Sikkim

"Throw your mind into the lama's wisdom mind, like tossing a stone into a lake! (...) Were we to meet the Buddha in person, we could expect to receive nothing more than we receive from our spiritual teacher (...) who is the embodiment of all the buddhas in one." - Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche Khenpo Sherab Sangpo guides students in the theory and practice of Guru Yoga according to the Nyingma Longchen Nyingtik transmission lineage. Guru Yoga is an essential practice that opens a student's heart/mind to the blessings and realization of the buddhas, bodhisattvas, and lineage masters. It is also a crucial to practice Guru Yoga before learning Great Perfection (Dzogchen) teachings. Retreat on Tara, "Mother of all Buddhas," with instructions on how to practice a short, daily practice, "The Sadhana of the Noble White Tara." White Tara is practiced to increase one's own or another person's health, wisdom, and merit; especially the long life of one's teacher and lineage masters. Although known for these benefits, White Tara's seed syllable TAM may also be practiced to recognize the nature of mind and all phenomena as birthless; as the simplicity and unconditioned quality of the dharmakaya. Because Tara is unborn, she is beyond all conditions and empty in essence; yet her manifestation and appearance is blissful. Meditating on Tara in this way allows one to realize the ultimate, unborn and empty nature of one's mind. This is the awakened essence of all the Taras - white, green, red, or another color. Many great masters, such as Nagarjuna and Atisha, have realized enlightenment by relying on Tara.Retreat on Tara, "Mother of all Buddhas," with instructions on how to practice a short, daily practice, "The Sadhana of the Noble White Tara."
