    According to legend, a werewolf is a man who turns into a wolf at night and devours animals, people, or corpses but returns to human form by day. Some werewolves change shape at will; others, in whom the condition is hereditary or acquired by having been bitten by a werewolf, change shape involuntarily, under the influence of a full moon. If he is wounded in wolf form, the wounds will show in his human form and may lead to his detection. Belief in werewolves is found throughout the world.     On this episode of Obsessed with the Palmers, we meet the boo hag, which is probably the creepiest creature you probably haven't heard of.  According to the legend, boo hags are similar to vampires but unlike vampires, they gain sustenance from a person's breath, as opposed to their blood.  Boo hags have no skin, so, in order to be less conspicuous, they steal a victim's skin wear it like clothes.     On this episode we learn all about the mysterious Alaska Triangle. The Triangle is a place in the untouched wilderness of Alaska where people go missing at a very high rate.  Where are they going? What happens to them?  Listen while hosts Caitlin and Clay Palmer piece together the evidence to discover the truth behind the myth.  The Alaska Triangle connects the state's largest city of Anchorage in the south, to Juneau in the southeast panhandle, to Barrow, a small town on the state's north coast.   The area began attracting public attention in October 1972, when a small, private plane  vanished into thin air while flying from Anchorage to Juneau.     On a monster hunt for chupacabras

    The name Chupacabra comes from the animal's reported vampirism—the chupacabra is said to attack and drink the blood of livestock, including goats. Each of the animals was reported to have had its body bled dry through a series of small circular incisions.     ​Why the legend of the Jersey Devil won't die

    For more than three hundred years, the tale of the Jersey Devil has fascinated people. According to the legend, in 1735 mom of twelve, Mary Leeds was giving birth to her 13th child at her home in the Pine Barrens in south Jersey when, out of frustration with the birth, she cursed the baby. What happened next? The child was born with wings, hooves, a tail, and a thirst for the blood of animals.
