If I asked you if it were possible to get into the best shape of your life, we could agree that it is. If I asked you if it were possible for you to become smarter than you've ever been, I think we could agree that you could work hard, study, learn, and practice more than you ever had. But strangely, learning to be your best self seems so unattainable to many. To some, it even seems impossible. But it isn't. It just requires you to work harder and more diligently than you ever have. Is it worth it?- For the entire article check out lifehack.org
Are you coachable? Being coachable means being open to asking for and receiving feedback, looking inward at how you can move forward, and being interested in growth. You don't take things personally or as a criticism, instead you see it as an opportunity.
Can YOU count on YOU when everything is on the line?
Write down five good things... “I like to reflect on five journal prompts at the end of each day — and doing so has become a part of my nightly routine. The five topics are: a daily highlight, someone who helped me that day, someone whom I helped, something I learned, and gratitude. I record my responses before I go to bed, and it helps me recognize all of the good in my life.” - ladders.com
In the morning when you wake up before grabbing your phone do this...
We spend a LOT of time focused on the past and on the future but neither one of those are now. Spend time in the present that is focused on the present. This is why the present is called a gift! It is right here with us.
Learn how to endure in kindness! Kindness is a type of behavior marked by acts of generosity, consideration, or concern for others, without expecting praise or reward. -From Wiki
Don't allow your ego to run the show. When you do, your spirit has to take a back seat. Ego is an acronym that means "edging God out." Don't edge God out. Always keep God first place in your heart and mind.
Wake up with a happy focused heart! Declare blessed words over your life! Have a great day!
Don't go looking for joy or happiness in things, situations and circumstances. Joy is an eternal work that happens in the heart. Joy is having contentment and bliss from within. When you have this joy inside it will add flames to your romantic relationship indeed.
A romance sure shot is to write your spouse a poem. You might say "I'm not a poet." Cool, look up a sweet poem (quote it) and send it to your loved one. If you want to spice it up even more, send it to them through the mail. Have fun with this one!
We live in a news clip society. We post the nice things on special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, dinners, special times... But romance is not just about showing others these "news clip" moments. Powerful romance happens daily. Of course you SHOULD post your favorite and special moments but stay focused on romance daily!
You remember back in grade school when we first learned fractions? Remember when you had to solve for the lowest common denominator? Some times that's exactly what happens in our relationships. We go to the lowest thought and lowest emotion after someone else shows their anger or nastiness, we stoop to that nastiness. Instead of going to the lowest common denominator we need to elevate and go to the highest denominator!
True romance is forged through the ups and downs, highs and lows, struggles and victories. SO keep working on your romance through every circumstance with love and anticipation and watch it grow!
**Romance Series**Surprise your partner! Have some fun. Let us know what you choose and share the outcome of your adventure
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all. -Psalm 34:19
Psalm 1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners,Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
Discernment is defined as the ability to judge well. God help us to discern better.
In this prayer edition of the One Minute Mentor the reminder is to think about what we think about. The scripture: "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things."- Phil 4:8
"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." -Phil 4:7
Instead of worrying about our difficult situations we should pray and make our loving petitions known to God. Worrying won't change anything but prayer will change us. Check out this prayer edition of One Minute Mentor.
Stay committed to loving yourself. When you love yourself it makes it easier for those around you to love you. The more you love yourself the less you care about what those on the outside say about you. You will go from caring about if they like your post or de-friending you on social media to a confidence and self reliance that is bold enough to not care one way or the other. True love is more powerful than a post, true love is within you. Never forget this. God made you for love. Love God, love yourself and love others.
Choose to be better. It is honorable to be thankful and content with your current progress but don't forget to keep that intensity up. Stay focused on constant growth and improvement. Stay humble, stay focused and keep getting better!
Don't focus on revenge! It does not bring resolution or peace. Look for Godly and helpful resolutions if at all possible. Invest your time in people and things that are positive. Life is short. Be wise in how you invest your time and resources.
Sometimes when we make a mistake we ask others for forgiveness and we definitely check in with God but we don't forgive ourselves. Forgive yourself, get up, and keep moving forward. Do NOT dwell on your failures.
Make a gratitude list. Having a gratitude list, reading it and adding to it daily is an excellent way to stay positive

Friends. You must have the right ones! If you discover that the friends you have are NOT for you or if you determine they are not honorable and trustworthy, leave them alone and get yourself some new friends! It's better to be friendless than to have weak unstable friends that don't have your values.
