The real spirit of Christmas can be found through a serving heart. I often have to remind people that we were created to serve one another and, we all need a little help from time to time because no one is meant to go through life alone. If life has given you blessings, it's important to share those with your community. When people find out I worked with victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse, they ask me what does that entails and what can they do to help. I tell them to serve the people in their community by finding out the need and supplying it or connect with an organization that's already providing the services.
