We now have word the owner of the vehicle that was stopped by the Tennessee Highway Patrol with Kilmar Abrego Garcia driving and filled with people, says he paid Garcia several times to run people into the country from the border. Next, we go to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's testimony on the Hill yesterday. To illustrate the level of intellect inherent to the Democrat Party today, we turn to Rep. Nydia Velazquez (D-NY). Then, for the added cherry on top, we turn to mad Maxine Waters (D-CA) regarding DOGE. This leads to a short segment on why DOGE needs to continue working daily to find and root out the fraud, waste, abuse and corruption. Then we shift to the live show from Tuesday, May 06, 2025 at AFP. We start with a short conversation with Jeff Thompson of AFP before turning to Tony West. West joined AFP in Georgia in 2015. He has served in various roles before being elevated to State Director in October of 2023. Our keynote guest is Beverly Peyton, newly elected head of the GOP for Bartow County, GA. A new report from the state identifies key challenges in Connecticut's victim response in human trafficking cases. The Regionalized Human Trafficking Recovery Task Force, which was formed in 2021, released the first of its kind report, using data from 49 case studies. State Senator Mike Halpin has introduced a measure aimed at strengthening the fight against human trafficking by empowering local authorities. Under Senate Bill 1422, municipalities would gain the power to enforce compliance with human trafficking recognition training at hotels, restaurants, and truck stops, with fines of up to $1,500 per violation. Born in the South and raised in poverty, her childhood was marked by sexual abuse from her grandfather while her mother turned a blind eye. School offered no escape—bullied mercilessly for her appearance, she dropped out in seventh grade, seeking acceptance wherever she could find it.The streets provided temporary community but ultimately led her into the hands of human traffickers when what seemed like an innocent car ride became a nightmare. Trapped for years under threats to her family's safety, Charlie witnessed murder and endured repeated assaults. Yet in this darkness, an unexpected light emerged—her pregnancy and the birth of her daughter gave Charlie a reason to fight for freedom."I looked at her every day and thought, 'I don't see that person,'" Charlie explains, referring to her attacker. Terra has been a committed educator, advocate, and trainer in the fight against human trafficking for over 20 years. In 2010, Terra founded “Stop the Traffick: Make Some Noise,” an annual Human Trafficking Awareness Day Rally in her hometown of Oshkosh, WI, which inspired similar events in surrounding cities. She has played a key role in the establishment of Damascus Road Project, a faith-based non-profit organization located in Oshkosh, WI since it began in 2009 and currently serves as the Education and Engagement Director teaching and training the community about human trafficking awareness and how to get involved. She also shares the morning show mic with Crash from 6-9am Monday - Friday.
