You may be wondering what does "Prodigal" mean? Well, in our church culture it is another term for "Lost", and it comes from parable that Jesus gave in Luke 15:11-32. The Prodigal son wanted his inheritance, and walked away from his father's house to live his own life. In this parable Jesus was explaining how so many of his children walk away from him, but when they return home he accepts them with open arms. So feel free to do a little digging, and read the beautiful parable that Jesus taught. Welcome back to the first episode of the Perfectly Scarred Podcast. In this first episode I just wanted to dive into what it means to surrender. We all have to make a choice to surrender our brokenness, trauma, doubts, and fears to God. It is at that point where God can come into our lives to direct us, but only if we humble ourselves in the process. It was scary for me, but God has proven himself to me when I gave myself to him. Here I share a little of how I came to the place of total surrender in order to commit my whole heart to Christ. This episode does contain content that may not be suitable for the young babies so go ahead and put your headphones on while listening.
