Transmission 12: Reverend Briana Lynn discusses when pain, judgement, or stereotypes are projected onto an entire group of people, based on this made up motion of race, and said party ELEVATES themselves because they are not a part of said group of people, that is RACISM. I’ve had a challenging time with this theme. Being a white-presenting (no i do not ID as white) human, who loves all humans, and who allies with any one who has been oppressed, I have been on the front lines of the race war. In the past two years, I have also been attacked for being “white-presenting.” I have been attacked by people of all backgrounds, even other white-presenting people. I have also been deeply loved and received some powerful learnings. This Wild Woman Rhapsody and Transmission #12’s intention is to share a conversation about “how can we all move beyond racism.” And that attacking anyone for their race, and making yourself superior to another, is racism. Even if it’s your own “race” Ps - race isn’t real. It was made up. But the strata in our society does rely heavily on oppression, and racism helps keep the rich richer, and the poor, poorer. I have a lot more questions than answers in this one. Blessings.
