Johnny sits down with Tim Griesheimer to hear one of the wildest crime stories to ever come out of Texas. What started as a teenager running burglaries quickly turned into a seven-year journey through some of the toughest prisons in the state. Along the way, Tim navigated race politics, brutal jail fights, and the chaos of prison life — eventually becoming a shot caller for the 59 Bounty Hunter Bloods despite being a white inmate. In this episode, Tim breaks down how he got caught up in burglaries as a teenager, what really happens inside Texas county jails, and the brutal moment he had to stand up for himself his first night locked up. From small-town crime to prison survival, his story shows how quickly a reckless life can spiral — and the crazy situations that come with it. This is a raw, unfiltered look at prison politics, street crime, and the reality of doing time in Texas. In this episode: -Growing up around crime and getting pulled into burglaries as a teenager -The arrest that led to seven years in the Texas prison system -Breaking into houses to steal guns in rural Texas -Getting betrayed by someone in his own circle -His first night in county jail and the brutal fight that followed -How race politics and gangs operate inside prison -Becoming affiliated with the 59 Bounty Hunter Bloods Go Support Tim! You're at the cusp of your initiation in the healing arts. You know it because every medicine you touch is giving you the same answer. Your connection to nature and elemental spirits are undeniable. You know it because the synchronicities are getting louder. The signs are everywhere. You keep seeing the same numbers, hearing the same words, dreaming the same dreams. You know it because there's a pull in your intuition that you can't explain and can't ignore. It doesn't make complete logical sense. But it's undeniable. If you've been listening to the Soul Sovereignty Podcast for a while, you have heard me talk about the importance of connecting to your womb space. If you want to embody your divinity and reclaim your sovereignty, it is an essential practice.A lot of people on the spiritual path tend to focus on the “upper chakras,” such as the third eye or crown. However, deeper levels of embodiment necessitate moving the consciousness of your divinity INTO your “lower chakras,” such as the root and womb. By the way, your energetic womb includes your sacrum and tailbone. Men and women have an energetic womb.In this week's Soul Sovereignty Podcast, special guest Laura Hosford and I dive into:* The gifts of accessing the wisdom of your womb* What NOT to do when you begin to connect to your womb* Why your womb is an energetic portal to the earth and the divine mother* The multidimensional gifts and healing potential that is possible when you enter the womb space consciously* Why opening your heart is the first step in opening your womb space* A simple practice you can do to begin reconnecting your heart and womb (which, in ancient times, were united as ONE)Both Laura and I guide our clients to connect to the wisdom of their womb, remember their divine feminine power, and reunite their divinity with their humanity (to bridge heaven and earth through your very own consciousness). If your ADHD brain struggles with procrastination, or you often find yourself thinking, "Why can't I just do this thing?!" episode 344 is for you. We often think "getting started" is one simple action. But for the ADHD brain, task initiation is actually a complex chain of 5-6 distinct steps, each of which demand our executive functions. When we collapse these steps all into one, we miss the nuance of where the breakdown happens and we default to shame instead of solutions. In this episode, we're taking apart the "I'm just a procrastinator" narrative. You'll learn how to identify which of the 6 stages is actually blocking you from starting and find one small, specific way to make it remove the friction and take the next step. In episode 344, you will discover: The 6 hidden layers of task initiation (and why 'just doing it' is biologically harder for us). How to pinpoint exactly which step has you stuck. One specific micro-step to remove the friction from the step that's holding you back. Work With Me:
In this week's episode we're answering one of YOUR questions with a combination of expert tips and personal experience. The Question: "Is there a way for someone with responsive desire to initiate sex? Do you have any recommendations?" What We Cover in This Episode: • Can you initiate with responsive desire? Yes. Initiation does not have to mean you are ready for sex right away. This episode explores how people with responsive desire can start connection in ways that feel safe, honest, and pressure-free. • What responsive desire actually means. Why some people need emotional or mental build-up before physical arousal, and how explaining your “longer runway” can change the way your partner understands intimacy. • The fear of being a tease or changing your mind. A real conversation about hesitation around initiating, including the pressure to follow through and how to reframe initiation as starting foreplay, not promising sex. • How to talk about initiation with your partner. Scripts and examples for getting on the same page about timelines, expectations, and what initiating looks like when you need more build-up before intimacy. • Creative ways to initiate without pressure. From morning cuddles and daytime flirting to teasing PDA and slow-burn make-outs, we share playful techniques that help build anticipation while honoring responsive desire. • You are not too much for needing more. A reminder that responsive desire is valid, that foreplay and communication create better sex for everyone, and that your needs matter whether you are dating, single, or in a long-term relationship. The fastest way to elevate your leadership doesn't require a new strategy, a bigger budget, or a corner office. It starts with one word: hello. In this episode of The Better Boss, Gregg breaks down a deceptively simple yet transformational practice called "Be the First to Respect." Drawing from his early career at John Jay College and the unforgettable example of a president who made everyone feel seen, Gregg reveals why initiating a greeting, and using someone's name, carries far more influence than most leaders realize. Backed by social psychology and practical experience from the R-Factor Leadership Workshop, Gregg explains how being the first to acknowledge someone removes hesitation, builds instant rapport, and creates a powerful ripple effect of respect throughout your organization. This isn't about small talk. It's about intentional connection. It's about sending the message that every person matters. If you want your team to warm up to your ideas, receive your feedback openly, and genuinely respect your leadership, this episode gives you a technique you can use today. What if perimenopause isn't a breakdown… but a biological upgrade? In this episode of Why Isn't Everyone Doing This?, Emily sits down with Dr. Maritza Snyder to dismantle one of the most damaging narratives women have inherited: that midlife marks decline. Dr. Maritza reframes perimenopause as a powerful remodel. A hormonal recalibration that, when understood and supported, can lead to deeper clarity, stronger boundaries, sharper cognition, and expanded vitality. They explore: Why perimenopause is not “pre-menopause” in the way we've been taught What's happening in the brain and nervous system during this transition How stress physiology impacts symptoms The connection between hormones, identity, and purpose Why this chapter can feel like an initiation rather than an ending Dr. Maritza also shares her personal healing journey after a concussion forced her to radically reimagine her health, and how envisioning her future healthy self became the turning point in her recovery. This conversation is both science-based and soul-based. Practical and empowering. If your body feels unfamiliar…If your sleep, mood, or metabolism have shifted…If you want tools instead of dismissal… This episode is for you. Jeff and Lois were both raised in Christian households, and Lois's parents were missionaries. They met at a Wesleyan school, and began ministering together while still attending college, eventually serving as a pastoring couple for 34 years. Growing questions about what was meant by “the Church” bothered them, as well as difficulty in resolving theological disputes within their own congregations. Who had the right interpretation of Scripture? After two of their children became Catholic, Jeff and Lois began to explore the Church, eventually resigning ministry and receiving the Sacraments of Initiation.

Initiation into the Poro, or secret society, constitutes the rites of manhood for the Mende people in Sierra Leone. As a means to develop the emotional landscape of this piece, I sought to put myself in the shoes of initiates, attempting to capture their feelings of excitement and anticipation. I was particularly intrigued by the call-and-response singing between the leader and choir. This inspired me to resample the field recording into a looper/FX unit. I then re-recorded it playing forwards and backwards at varying speeds. Stitching several of these processed samples together into a new sonic tapestry helped to form the rhythmic backbone of this piece. Sounds from the Mende Poro flutter among an energetic and hypnotic drum beat. Psychedelic layers of rich, analogue synthesizer enhance the musicality of the field recording samples, bringing about a sense of wondrousness and mystique.Mende Poro song reimagined by Hellcat Sneer.———Part of the project A Century of Sounds, reimagining 100 sounds covering 100 years from the collections of the Pitt Rivers Museum at the University of Oxford. AC and Isaac welcome John Michael Greer back to the Plant Cunning Podcast for a wide-ranging conversation on mundane astrology and the Saturn–Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries on February 20. Greer explains mundane astrology as astrology applied to world events, emphasizing traditional tools like ingress charts for solstices and equinoxes, eclipse charts, and great conjunctions, and describing astrology as an empirical craft built from long historical observation. The episode explores why 0° Aries functions as a zodiac “reset button,” why Saturn (form, limits, structure) combining with Neptune (dissolution, unity, imagination, delusion) suggests major shifts. They discuss competing ways of timing the Age of Aquarius, including the 2020 Jupiter–Saturn conjunction in Aquarius as a possible “dawn” marker, and critique utopian 1960s portrayals of Aquarius, noting traditional rulership by Saturn and the difficult, disruptive qualities associated with Uranus (and Rahu as co-ruler in Vedic astrology). Greer ties Uranus-in-Gemini cycles to U.S. history and “elite replacement” periods, framing current politics as another transition that may include bureaucratic contraction and social conflict without necessarily implying “the end of everything.” Additional themes include long-term decline versus sudden collapse, climate volatility, ice-sheet destabilization, karmic causality as “action and consequence” rather than retribution, and esoteric ideas like Dion Fortune's “initiation of the nadir” as a potential collective turning point amid peak global population. 02:53 Mundane Astrology101: The Oldest Branch of Astrology & How It Works04:26 Tools of Mundane Astrology: Ingresses, Eclipses, and Great Conjunctions06:29 Why 0° Aries Matters: The Zodiac ‘Reset Button'08:27 Saturn Meets Neptune: Form vs Dissolution—and Why This One's Unprecedented11:50 Axial Age Echoes: Religion, Philosophy, and What Might Change Next15:50 Age of Aquarius: Uranus Energy, Myths of Utopia, and Saturn's Reality Check21:07 Tech, AI, and Civilizational Fragility26:25 When Did the Age of Aquarius Begin?5:26 Wheels Within Wheels: Stacking Cycles and What We'll Notice in Our Lifetimes36:42 Historical Parallel: Early Democracy, and How Big Shifts Start Small37:56 Athens' Democratic Experiment & the Rise of a Cultural Powerhouse38:36 Thales and the Birth of Philosophy: Reason Replaces Myth39:34 Where the Next Breakthrough Comes From: Fringe Ideas That ‘Work'41:07 Screens, AI, and a Return to Being Human (in a New Way)42:46 The Star of Bethlehem, Magi as Magicians, and Modern ‘Messiah' Speculation44:37 Aquarius vs Pisces: Why We Can't Imagine a Truly New Age45:11 Reading Dead People: Ancient Epics as a Portal to Other Mindsets46:20 Kali Yuga vs Satya Yuga: Are We in the Spiritual Winter?48:43 26,000-Year Cycles, Ancient Dread, and ‘This Is as Bad as It Gets'52:33 Saturn's Lesson: Endure, Do Your Dharma, and Get to Work54:34 Initiation of the Nadir: Hitting Rock Bottom and Rounding the Buoy58:48 Uranus in Gemini & America's Elite Replacement Cycles (Revolution–Civil War–WWII)01:05:43 Mundane Astrology Methods: Updating Planetary Meanings for the Modern World01:09:06 Mars vs Mercury Masculinity—and What a Future Dark Age Might Look Like01:13:20 Post-Collapse Cities in ‘Star's Reach': A Byzantine-Style Future01:14:06 What Determines the Shape of a Dark Age? The panel explores childhood conditioning, anger as information, burnout from over-initiating for others, and the deep re-learning required to trust your voice, your timing, and your need for rest.Rather than explaining Human Design mechanics, this episode focuses on real experiences: what was silenced, what erupted as anger, what led to burnout, and what it looks like to reclaim peace. In this episode, we explore:What it's like to grow up as a Manifestor and learn to play smallAnger as a core Manifestor signal, not a flawWhy silencing, interruption, and unsolicited advice hit Manifestors so deeplyInforming as an act of love, not permission-seekingThe cost of initiating for everyone else and leaving nothing for yourselfBurnout cycles in Manifestor women, especially in midlifeRest, creative flow, and learning when to stop pushingParenting Manifestor children and allowing emotional expressionHealing the throat and voice after years of suppressionYou'll hear real conversations about:Being told to “think before you speak” and learning to distrust your instinctsFeeling seen but not understood from a young ageAnger turning inward when expression isn't allowedThe pressure to keep up with Generators and Manifesting GeneratorsLearning to set boundaries without guiltReclaiming peace by honouring rest and energetic limitsThis episode is for you if:You are a Manifestor (or have one in your life) and feel misunderstoodYou've experienced burnout from always initiating, leading, or holding things togetherAnger has been labeled a problem instead of informationYou struggle with rest, boundaries, or asking for helpYou're ready to stop shrinking and start trusting your voice againThis conversation is a permission slip — to rest, to inform...

There are moments in life when the ground shifts beneath us—moments that ask us to release who we have been and surrender to who we are becoming. In this conversation with Christine Eck, we explore these initiatory thresholds: the postpartum window, identity shifts, creative rebirth, and the deeply human experience of meeting ourselves in the dark.Whether it's the identity rupture of new parenthood, a dream dissolving, a relationship shifting, or a calling echoing from somewhere you can't yet see, these moments feel like freefall. They feel like failure. They feel like we are being unmade. And yet—they feel like that because it is a death. And it is also the beginning of a profound becoming. The only way out is through. The gift is at the bottom. And you cannot effort your way into becoming—you can only surrender into it.Enjoy this episode. This week, Ryan and Alex dive into the natural spiritual process known as initiation. They explore Rosicrucianism, Egyptian mystery rituals, guiding spiritual forces, the path of the mystic, and the teachings of Rudolf Steiner unpacking how these ancient currents continue to shape spiritual awakening today.
In this episode of Eros Money Power, we step under the rose. The red rose has always been more than a symbol of romance. It is an emblem of erotic power, secrecy, devotion, and sacred containment. The Sanctum is a private world…one that operates under the rose. Historically, sub rosa meant what was spoken beneath the rose was protected—carried in confidence, revealed only to the initiated. I'm sharing why The Sanctum is built on this energy. This is not light, surface level work. This is red work. The type of work that asks for discretion, standards, and reverence. The kind of work that unfolds slowly, layer by layer, when a woman is ready. I share why secrecy, eros, and discretion are not luxuries in my work, but necessities. We explore the symbolism of the red rose, the ancient meaning of 'sub rosa', and why the most powerful transformations do not happen in public spaces. This is a conversation about erotic intelligence, standards, and a level of reverence, devotion, and safety that allows desire to be named freely. Not everyone will understand this work. And that is exactly the point. If you've felt the pull of mystery…this episode is an invitation into the center of the rose. Inside this episode we reveal… Why the red rose is a symbol of erotic leadership, desire, and world-shaping power The ancient meaning of sub rosa and what it means to work in privacy and devotion How secrecy becomes safety, and containment becomes potency Why access, standards, and discernment are essential for deeper initiatory spaces What it means to be a keeper of knowledge, codes, and transmissions not everyone gets to hold Under the rose... The Sanctum is not open to everyone. It was never meant to be. This is a private world, carried under the rose

February 2026 marks an unprecedented astrological and numerological shift. As we move from the grounded stability of Earth and Water into the primal lifeforce of Fire and Air, the ground beneath us is shifting. With Chinese New Year ushering in the Year of the Fire Horse and the monumental Saturn-Neptune conjunction at the zero point of Aries, we are being refined, fine-tuned, and asked to move with absolute precision. In this episode, we break down the three essential themes you need to embody to navigate this volatile yet expansive energy: Say Less: Why "Yes" and "No" are complete sentences in this new era of coherence. Your Question is More Important Than the Answer: Moving from "Why me?" to "What is this making space for?" Self-Pity Won’t Hold: Why the victimhood timeline is closing and how to reclaim your power through personal accountability. The heat is on, and the momentum only builds from here through July. It’s time to stop over-processing, stop over-explaining, and start initiating. In this episode, we cover: The transition from the Snake to the Fire Horse (Feb 17th). The impact of Saturn and Neptune at the zero point of the zodiac (Feb 20). The start of a new Eclipse season in a new axis (Feb 17). How to handle Mercury Retrograde in Pisces (Feb 25). The Dad Edge Podcast (formerly The Good Dad Project Podcast)
In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Nicole McNichols, psychologist, professor at the University of Washington, and author of You Could Be Having Better Sex, for one of the most honest, research-backed conversations we've ever had about sex, intimacy, and connection in long-term marriage. This isn't about sex positions, tricks, or "trying harder." It's about why good marriages lose momentum over time, how pressure and expectations quietly kill desire, and why emotional connection is often the real foreplay. Dr. Nicole breaks down why scheduling sex can backfire, how shame and guilt around sex are learned early, and how curiosity—not performance—creates the kind of intimacy couples actually crave. I also share personal stories from my own marriage about connection, timing, and why mediocre sex just to "check the box" no longer works. If you want a healthier, more connected sex life, this episode gives you a roadmap grounded in science and real-life experience. Timeline Summary [0:00] Why this episode isn't about sex positions or tricks [1:26] Introducing Dr. Nicole McNichols and her background [2:09] Why scheduling sex can quietly backfire [2:36] How pressure and expectation kill intimacy [2:58] Emotional connection as the real foreplay [3:36] Why intimacy dates matter more than sex calendars [5:18] How Dr. Nicole became a "sex professor" by accident [6:10] Loneliness, disconnection, and the role of sexual health [7:08] Shame, stigma, and misinformation around sex—especially for women [9:14] Why healthy sex improves forgiveness, health, and longevity [10:25] The failure of shame-based sex education [12:10] Countries with sex-positive education and better outcomes [13:18] Identifying the sources of shame we carry into marriage [15:09] Why sex shouldn't be the first thing sacrificed in busy seasons [16:07] Why conversations about sex should happen with clothes on [17:00] Using curiosity instead of pressure to improve intimacy [18:11] Announcement: Dad Edge Alliance February focus on intimacy and attraction [20:03] Curiosity vs. agenda in hard conversations [21:17] Why scheduling sex alone doesn't work [22:09] Creating the right context and mood for intimacy [23:24] Sexual effort that creates pressure instead of desire [24:55] Emotional lead-up and responsive desire [26:01] Initiation–rejection cycles and resentment [27:23] "Intimacy dates" and reconnecting outside the bedroom [29:11] Larry shares a personal story about connection over convenience [31:26] Choosing quality connection over mediocre sex [33:17] Maintenance sex vs. meaningful sexual connection [35:04] Balancing connection and realistic expectations [37:22] Long-term rejection cycles and rebuilding intimacy [39:00] Hormones, menopause, and why libido changes aren't personal [41:29] Division of labor, resentment, and loss of identity [43:48] Gottman research and why distance doesn't heal intimacy [45:43] Making your partner feel seen and heard [47:23] Listening vs. fixing in emotional conversations [49:13] Resources for better conversations with your wife and kids [49:31] Dr. Nicole's book and New York Times features [50:44] Where to find Dr. Nicole and her work [53:08] Why improving your sex life is a powerful way to start 2026 Five Key Takeaways Pressure and expectation kill desire, while curiosity and emotional safety create attraction. Emotional connection is often the real foreplay, especially in long-term marriages. Scheduling sex without context can backfire if couples don't create space to reconnect first. Sexual shame is learned, and identifying its sources is the first step toward healthier intimacy. Better sex isn't about frequency—it's about quality, safety, and connection. Today I'm sharing my second conversation with writer and astrologer Erin Kelley. We tell our personal (and planetary) stories of loss, seduction, codependency, and people-pleasing — as we explore how mid-life transits can become portals to authentic intimacy. We also discuss Erin's Slow Magick practice and how to change your life in sacred time.
