On this Formation Sunday, Christine leads us in teaching on the generous worship of Mary as she offers Jesus an anointing with perfume. We continue with a formation practice of giving and receiving – offering what we have, and asking for what we need.
This year our theme is Jubilee: the Year of Radical Release. We've been exploring the Economics of Jesus and this March we are practicing Releasing Control as our Formation Practice. Jubilee: the Year of Radical Release – pt. 1 The Economics of Jesus. This week is Formation Sunday and Christine is teaching from the story of the Rich Young Ruler. We will be doing another formation practice of release: releasing fear, using the Welcoming Prayer.
This Sunday we are looking forward to welcoming two guests: our very own, Blythe Hill, the founder of Dressember, and Kohl Crecelius, a friend of Redemption and the CEO and Co-founder of Krochet Kids International. Both these organizations offer a response to the call of Jubilee to set captives free – and that's what we'll be honing in on this weekend as we hear their stories!

Mike teaches today and closes out our study of Colossians with chapter 4! The Advent season is all about waiting in expectation for the coming Christ – and this month we will be unpacking that more with our formation practice!
This weekend we continue in our exploration of Abundant Community, but focused in on the Advent themes of Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love in their lives. A panel from our community will be leading the exploration.
Last weekend, we began exploring Christ in All with Lisa Rodriguez-Watson and now we will be stepping further into the Colossians 3 with Christine. This month for our formation practice, we will be practicing Imagination. The past few months we've been walking through our values as a community as our formation practices: Committed, Generous, Imaginative.
We have been exploring Abundant Community through the lens of Colossians, and today we are stepping into Colossians 3. We are looking forward to welcoming a guest, Lisa Rodriguez-Watson, to lead our exploration this month!

We have been highly anticipating this Exploration Sunday as we we welcome our next exploration guest – Meredith Miller. Meredith Miller is a pastor, parent, and writer who helps grownups, and the kids they love, engage with the Bible and faith in ways that are life-giving, fun, and a fit for their real lives.
This week is Formation Sunday and Christine continues to give us snapshots of the Abundant Life. Our formation practice this month is contentment through stillness – using breath prayer and another Anti-Psalm.
These past few months we have been preparing for the abundant life. We have evaluated what we need to unlearn and leave behind and practiced receiving the abundance and love of God. This month, we are taking the next step in unpacking what the Abundant Life is, and we'll be focusing in Psalm 23. Jeff Tanner is leading us into this next exploration!
