This is a huge week because the Giants not only have their second series in 10 days against the Dodgers but they also have to make big decisions before the trade deadline on Friday.

It's no secret the Giants will be buyers at the trade deadline. Here are some players who I think would be nice additions to the starting rotation.

After winning the 4-Game series against the Marlins, the San Francisco Giants have now won 5 of their last 6 series, they now have 14 wins on the year, and they are one of the best teams in baseball. You absolutely cannot convince me otherwise, so please don't try. 

There are only 5 teams in all of baseball who have at least 12 wins this year and the Giants are one of them. After last night's win against the Marlins, the Giants now have a 6-1 record at home and will look to pick up a few more wins during this four-game series against the fish.

Despite losing a tough series to the Miami Marlins the Giants still have a record of 9-6 on the season and have won 7 of their last 10 games. The upcoming series against the Phillies might be the biggest factor in determining whether this early success is sustainable or not.

Giants are winning and its fantastic. After sweeping the Rockies and winning five of their last 6 games, the Giants now have a record of 6-3. The only other teams in baseball who have a better record are the Dodgers and the Padres.
