The Chicago Bulls squandered a 19-point lead in a crushing 128-122 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, exposing critical execution flaws and questionable coaching decisions. Host Haize breaks down Billy Donovan's puzzling choice to bench red-hot Jalen Smith (18 points, 11 rebounds, plus-17) in favor of struggling Nikola Vucevic during crunch time, despite Smith's perfect 6-for-6 shooting performance. The Bulls' bench exploded for 58 points—led by Jaylen Johnson's flawless outing and strong contributions from Patrick Williams, Kevin Huerter, and Ayo Dosunmu—yet late-game mismanagement and Josh Giddey's ankle injury derailed Chicago's momentum. Matas Buzelis struggled significantly, while the absence of Coby White became glaringly apparent in critical fourth-quarter possessions. With the Bulls now 6-3 and facing their first losing streak of the season, this analysis reveals what went wrong and what must change as they prepare for upcoming matchups against San Antonio, Detroit, and Utah. Local shares bounced back from a two-month low on Thursday, with miners leading the charge. The ASX 200 lifted about a third of a per cent, supported by gains in gold and iron ore prices. Materials stocks were easily the day’s best performers, up around 1.5 per cent, with names like Emerald, Ramelius and Bellevue all climbing strongly. But it wasn’t all positive as NAB dragged the broader market lower after falling more than 3 per cent despite hitting a record high earlier in the day. Westpac slipped after going ex-dividend, and James Hardie tumbled more than 10 per cent after being dropped from a key index. It's Tuesday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' losing streak, Tuesday's game against the Senators, line combos, and much more. After a few left-hand turns on topics, the boys kicked off the Tuesday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about what to expect from Jake Walman's return to the lineup after missing training camp and the pre-season with a mysterious upper-body injury. Despite not playing yet this season, there's little doubt that Walman is one of the Oilers' best puck-moving defencemen, and having him back in the lineup will surely help.Changing gears, the guys dissected the Oilers' current three-game losing streak and how the lack of production from the big boys is undoubtedly contributing to the results. While the slumps won't last forever, it's hard not to be frustrated about the ways things are going offensively, and how the Oilers haven't yet made the adjustments needed to kick this snake bite. The good news is that there are adjustments to be made that can hopefully make a positive impact. Can they turn things around? Yes. Will it take work and adjustments? Absolutely. Finally, we wrapped up the first episode of the week with another (flawed) round of Baggedmilk's Trivia that had the boys looking ahead at at Tuesday's matchup between the Oilers and Senators. Despite one of the questions being factually incorrect, it was a good time to hear the fellas work through their logic in what was a haphazardly put together bit by Baggedmilk. As it turns out, it's not just the Oilers that are struggling to produce offence right now. What was THAT? Nebraska surrendered 9 sacks and gave up 186 rushing yards to a team that had just 30 yards rushing in their previous game (a win vs. Purdue)…lots of questions to answer and a fan base who witnessed a 5-1 start last year before 4 straight losses now has uncomfortable thoughts Nebraska played a poor first half and still only trailed, 7-6…a 14-play, 98 yard TD drive that took 8:43 of game time in the 3rd quarter was too much to overcome for an offense (and defense) that had few answers for an average Gophers team… Show Sponsored by SANDHILLS GLOBALOur Sponsors:* Check out Avocado Green Mattress: https://avocadogreenmattress.com* Check out Hims: https://hims.com/EARLYBREAK* Check out Infinite Epigenetics: https://infiniteepigenetics.com/EARLYBREAK* Check out Uncommon Goods: https://uncommongoods.com/EARLYBREAKAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
