On the podcast myself and my Co-Host Ty Tracey talked about the NFL Free Agency and how the NFL is already looking going into this upcoming season. We also talked how Women's college is more exciting to watch than the college Men's basketball.

On the ShutUp & Listen Podcast myself and my returning guest Edwin Duodu talked about how the NBA All- Star weekend was not a success because the All-Star game and the Slam Dunk contest was absolutely trash. We also talked about the Kansas City Chiefs winning back-to-back Super Bowl Champions.

On Monday myself and Ty Tracey talked about our thoughts on NFL Championship weekend. The Chiefs went on the road and beat the Ravens and are heading to their 4th Super Bowl in 6 years. On the other hand, the 49ers came down in the second half after being down 17 points at the half. Brock Purdy lead the way.

I had the privilege to bring back my returning guest and Edwin Duodu who is someone that always talks sports knowledge. We talked about the Divisional Round and who will survive and advance to the next round.

The Cowboys fall to the Green Bay Packers 48-32 in the first round of the playoffs. With the loss, the Cowboys have been eliminated from the playoffs once again. I also talked about the Lions beating the Rams in there first playoff game in 30 years. The Kansas City Chiefs overtook the Dolphins in one of the coldest games in the NFL history. CJ Stroud was sensational in the his first playoff debut against the Cleveland Browns.

We talked about the return of Ja Morant and how big his impact is for the Grizzles. We also talked about more teams and players in the NBA. We also discussed the hottest topics in the NFL and who's playing the best in the AFC and NFC.

Last night, myself and Ty Tracey talked week 9 in the NFL and how CJ Stroud is the front runner for MVP right now as rookie etc.

Damian Lillard is headed to the Milwaukee Bucks'. Lillard is starting a new journey in Milwaukee after being with the Blazers for over a decade of greatness with the franchise that's drafted him.

Coach Prime and the Buffalos rally in overtime over there rival Colorado State. The Buffalos won 43-35 after being down by 28-17 in the 4th quarter. Week 2 of the NFL was a success. There was a lot of great things to unfold with the Cowboys, Dolphins, Ravens, etc.

Aaron Rodgers season ended as a Jet before it could start. Rodgers tore his Achilles on his first possession for the New York Jets. What's next for Aaron Rodgers?

Yesterday on the podcast, we talked about Kobe Bryant's legacy because Kobe's birthday is on August 23, and Mamba Day is on 8/24. We talked about Steph Curry vs. Magic Johnson. Steph Curry said he was the Greatest point guard of all time on Gilbert Arenas's podcast a few days ago. We ended the podcast talking about the NFL and college football's upcoming season.

Had a great conversation with my guy Ty Tracey about the NBA finals and how Nikola Jokic is putting the world on notice as the best player in the world.

The Miami Heat went on the road in a game 7 against the Boston Celtics and came out victorious with a dominating 103-84 victory. The finals are set between the Miami Heat vs Denver Nuggets. Both Miami and Denver has been the two best teams in the playoffs and now we will see who will take home the Larry O'Brien trophy and be the 2023 NBA Champions.

Ja Morant back at it again on Instagram with flashing his gun for the second time within 3 months. Morant is suspended indefinity for this upcoming season. The Lakers and Denver closed out their series in game 6 of the conference semifinals. The Lakers will face the Nuggets in the Western conference finals. In the Eastern conference finals, the Miami Heat will be facing the Boston Celtics. Both teams will be facing each other in the conference finals for the third time in four years.

I had the opportunity of talking to talk with my good friend Edwin Duodu about the NBA Playoffs and who we think will win the first-round matchups and who we think will hold that Larry O'Brian trophy when it's all said and done.

This evening on the show me and Ty talked about the LSU Lady Tigers and UCONN Huskies won the NCAA Championship. We also talked about the Angel Reese situation with her and Caitlin Clark at the end of the game that everyone is talking about in the sports world. With the NBA playoffs starting in few weeks, we talked about who are the best teams going to the playoffs and etc.

Tonight on the ShutUp & Listen Podcast we talked about the Ja Morant gun situation leading to him getting suspended for the next few games. We also talked about Daniel Jones signing a 4 year contact worth $160 million dollars for 4 years and Lamar Jackson getting a non franchise tag for $32 million. We talked about the NBA and etc.

We talked Tom Brady retirement from the NFL after his 23 great seasons in the NFL and the Super Bowl between the Eagles vs the Chiefs, and the Cowboys deciding to part ways with Kellen Moore and Moore is now the offensive coordinator for the Los Angles Chargers.

LeBron James is not far away from making history in the National Basketball Association. LeBron is 399 points from being the all-time leading scorer. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had been the all-time leading scorer for over 40 years and this record is something we thought would never happen. Kareem has scored 38,387 points in his hall of fame career and his greatness is something you have to respect and honor.

I talked about the NFL Wildcard matchups for the playoffs. I also talked about the college football national championship that will be played between Georgia vs TCU. In closing I talked about the greatness of LeBron James and how he's on the path of passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the all-time leading scorer in NBA history.

The first podcast of the 2023 year was a success with my brother Edwin Duodu. We talked about week 17 of the NFL season and we talked about the college football semifinals between Georgia vs Ohio State and Michigan vs TCU.

The NFL playoffs are slowly approaching, and the playoffs are shaping up to be one of the funniest playoffs runs when it comes to the matchups.

The Lakers are 8-2 in their last 10 games and it's been because of the play of Anthony Davis. Davis has been playing like a top 5 player in the NBA for the past nine games. If Davis keeps playing like this the Lakers can compete to make the playoffs this season.

The NFL will appeal Deshaun Watson 6 game suspension and seek a tougher penalty for violating its personal conduct policy for egregious acts of sexualized contact with message therapists, the league said Wednesday.

Kendrick Perkins said on first take that he thinks Steph Curry has surpassed Kobe Bryant. Kendrick Perkins is blowing smoke with this take. I also talked about Russell Westbrook future with the Lakers.

KD shocked the basketball world today when he requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets.

Had returning guest Edwin Duodu on the show yesterday and we talked Aaron Donald's new contract worth 95 million dollars over the next three years. With Donald signing a new contract are the Rams the favorite in the NFC. We also talked about the NBA finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. With team has the edge in this series.

This morning I had the opportunity of talking with my guy Eric Vinson who knows his basketball. We talked about The Golden State Warriors on back in the NBA finals for the 6th time in 8 years. They beat the Dallas Mavericks in 5 games and the Warriors have a chance at winning their 4th championship since 2015. In the Eastern Conference, the Celtics can book a trip to the NBA finals with a win tonight over the Miami Heat.

The Celtics bounce back and sent a message to the Miami Heat and that their overwhelmingly the better team when fully healthy. Boston beat Miami 127-102. Marcus Smart had his impact all over this game. 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 12 assists. His leadership and play making ability was the difference in this ball game. Is Boston the best team in remaining in the playoffs?

The Eastern finals game 1 tipped off last night between the Miami Heat and The Boston Celtics. Jimmy Butler scored game high 41 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. The Heat outscored the Celtics 39 to 14 in the third quarter. Heat win game 1 118- 107. The Warriors and Mavericks will tip off tonight at 9 P.M. Who will take game 1 tonight?

The NFL Draft Day is upon us, and players lives will change forever because their hard work has finally paid off. Yesterday I had the opportunity of being my guy Eddie Duodu who is a diehard New York Jets fan and we talked about his Jets and who they should draft. We also talked about the NBA playoffs and what's transpiring right now.

The NBA playoffs have been worth all the hype and it's there's been a lot of things transpiring in both the Eastern and Western conference.

I had the opportunity of interviewing another Coffee High School legend Trevis Simpson who is a professional athlete at the professional level overseas. Trevis and I talked about his journey from being highly ranked coming out of high school and having a good college career at the University of North Carolina Greensboro and being an athlete at the professional level.

The NFL world is in disbelief on the tragic news on Dwayne Hawkins tragic passing over the weekend. Prayers for the family. The Lakers were a disappointment because they missed the playoffs and they came into the season as one of the favorites to win the championship.

I had the opportunity of bringing my childhood friend Brandon Roe who is a Coffee High legend in both basketball and football. Brandon is professional athlete who plays for the Sioux falls Storm, and he's been pursuing and living out his dream of being a professional athlete. Every athlete has a story to tell, and this podcast is about the untold story of the one and only Brandon Roe. 

After Giannis Antetokounmpo great performance on the road against the Brookyln Nets 120-119. Giannis finished the game with 44 points, 14 rebounds, and 6 assist. Hitting the clutch 3 pointer to send the game in overtime. Is he now the best player on the planet?

LeBron James passed Karl Malone 2nd all-time scoring. LeBron has scored 36,395 and counting but he's never been labeled as a great scorer like players such as Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, and the list goes on.
