THE TRUTH makes movies for your ears. They're short stories that are sometimes dark, sometimes funny, and always intriguing. Every story is different, but they all take you to unexpected places using only sound. If you're new, some good starting places are: Silvia's Blood, That's Democracy, Moon Graffiti, Tape Delay, or whatever's most recent. Listening with headphones is encouraged! We're a proud member of Radiotopia from PRX.

    Ivy Insights

The Truth podcast is an absolute gem in the world of audio drama. As a landscaper who spends long hours with headphones on, this podcast quickly became my favorite way to distract my brain while working. The stories are artfully acted and each episode features different actors and actresses, making it even more enjoyable. I completely lose myself in the riveting stories, often leaving me wanting more. If any of the writers from The Truth were to release full-length books, I would happily purchase them.

One of the best aspects of The Truth podcast is its ability to captivate listeners with its unique and diverse range of stories. Each episode offers something different, whether it be thrilling mysteries or thought-provoking explorations of humanity. The storytelling is top-notch, with each story being intriguing, smart, and beautifully entertaining. The sound quality and production value are also outstanding, creating a truly immersive experience for listeners. It's like movies for your ears.

However, one minor criticism I have is that some episodes don't always have satisfying endings. Occasionally, they feel more like thought experiments that taper off instead of coming to a conclusion. Despite this, even those episodes are enjoyable and still offer moments of intrigue, humor, sadness, or disturbance. Overall, The Truth podcast is an amazing show that I highly recommend to anyone looking for engaging audio dramas.

In conclusion, discovering The Truth podcast has been a game-changer for me. With 12 years worth of episodes to enjoy and devour during my long work days as a landscaper, this show has become my go-to source of entertainment and escapism. It's disheartening to hear that they may no longer be producing new episodes, but I am hopeful for their return in some form or other related projects in the future. Regardless of what happens next, I will cherish the incredible stories and experiences provided by The Truth podcast.
