WHERE THE BODIES ARE BURIED is a first of its kind True Crime podcast from Audio Up and Grinning Dog that features renowned serial killer profiler Phil Chalmers. Each episode features Phil conducting behind bars interviews with incarcerated psychopathic serial killers. His unprecedented connections within the prison system coupled with his law enforcement relationships and the entrusted “friendships” he's made with notorious killers provides this series access to information thought otherwise impossible to obtain. Producers Samantha Gutstadt and Adam Kaloustian join Phil and offer the listeners a unique perspective when Phil shares details with them that are as intriguing as they are horrific.
The Where the Bodies Are Buried podcast is truly captivating. Hosted by Phil Chalmers, the show delves into the minds of serial killers through interviews conducted by Chalmers himself. As I had the chance to meet Phil in person, I can attest to his calm demeanor and genuine curiosity that shines through in each episode. His early career experiences have undoubtedly prepared him for this unique role as an interviewer in the true crime genre.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is Phil's ability to maintain a non-judgmental stance during his conversations with these criminals. He allows them to speak openly without interruption or imposing his own opinions. This approach provides listeners with a chilling insight into the twisted minds of these individuals, allowing us to better understand the motivations and thought processes behind their heinous acts.
However, this approach also brings up one of the worst aspects of the podcast. At times, it feels as though Phil allows the interviewees to shift blame onto external factors such as movies, society, or their own victims. This can be disrespectful to both the victims and their families who have endured unimaginable pain. While it is important to gain rapport with these criminals for investigative purposes, it would be beneficial if Phil were to provide more commentary challenging their perspectives and holding them accountable.
In conclusion, The Where the Bodies Are Buried podcast is a gripping and unique addition to the true crime genre. It sheds light on horrifying crimes while also aiming to assist in solving cold cases and bringing justice to victims. Despite its few flaws, it remains an engrossing listen for true crime enthusiasts who enjoy diving deep into the minds of serial killers. I eagerly anticipate future episodes and hope that they continue their impactful work in raising awareness and understanding surrounding these disturbing crimes.

Looking back on Sam Bankman-Fried's rise and fall, Anthony Scaramucci walks us through what we can learn from his stumbles.
The Mooch is in the front row as the legend of Sam Bankman-Fried comes crumbling down in a matter of days including spending the day in SBF's Bahamas war room the day where FTX's fate became clear.
As crypto stumbles, SBF and his FTX step in as the savior of an industry. Amidst that glow, SBF and The Mooch partner with Sam Bankman-Fried purchasing a piece of Scaramucci's firm. Now business partners, their first stop is the guided halls of the Middle East where The Mooch will help SBF raise more money for FTX.
Belly's childhood demon, French Montana brings an evil spirit home from Morocco and JaVale McGee described a mysterious stranger who broke into his bedroom and watched him sleep.
The Mooch explains what he saw in SBF - why he liked him and was excited to be in business with him. The halcyon days of the now infamous Crypto Bahamas conference - with guests like Bill Clinton and Katy Perry - give way to crypto's bruising spring and summer with the fall of several high profile projects.
The Mooch and SBF meet in person for the first time. A fast friendship will eventually lead to a partnership. Scaramucci liked and admired the young visionary.
Bloodied but not defeated from his very public White House firing, Anthony Scaramucci dusts himself off and looks to bring his firm into what he sees as the future: cryptocurrency - it's during this pivot that he's introduced to wunderkind crypto founder Sam Bankman-Fried - aka “SBF”.
The Mooch ascends to Donald Trump's White House where a stint with the Import-Export Bank of the US exposes him to the future: cryptocurrencies before he is called into the game as the new White House Communications Director. Eleven days later, he's fired.
Wall Street veteran turned crypto evangelist Anthony Scaramucci - aka “The Mooch” - runs us through his crypto origin story - his rise from blue collar Long Island to Wall Street and on to the White House.
Anthony Scaramucci and Sam Bankman-Fried were the unlikeliest of business partners. “The Mooch” is a nearly sixty-year-old son of a Long Island crane operator who sprung from Harvard Law to fight his way up the ranks of traditional finance with an infamous eleven-day stint in the White House along the way. “SBF” is a newly-thirty-year-old son of two law professors raised on an elite campus who aimed to revolutionize all that people like the Mooch represented and he'd already become a multi-billionaire on the way. But partner they did – on a series of conferences and with SBF closing a deal that could have led to his owning the Mooch's Skybridge Partners outright - but they became something more than that and before the story ends with SBF in handcuffs, their friendship would take them everywhere from the Bahamas to Riyadh – with rumors of polycules, plentiful cups of noodles, and the Mooch toting a bag of suits he bought SBF out of instance that he could not meet the rules of Saudi Arabia in a worn out t-shirt and dirty white socks.
