Believers are not to be shaken by the trials we all face, but rather should align with Christ and His Word, in all aspects of our faith life, for the building of faith in the community and the rescuing of the lost in the world!
The boastful man will lack the submissive heart required to align with the Savior!
The faith-filled follower endeavors to align their actions, words, and mind with the Spirit of God!
How can one who has seen and experienced the words, the character, and the deeds of the Savior not believe and do in faith?
God tests and blesses so that the observed qualities of our heart reflect our faith, wisdom, and humility in Christ!

Before YELP, before Twitter, before the digital age, Clod sat down at her baby blue Corona electric typewriter and pounded out letters to companies whose products had failed her in some way. As if that's not weird enough, she saved copies of these letters, as well as the responses (written by some poor intern, I'm sure). In this episode I cold-read Clod's ridiculous letters and we dissect what in the world she was thinking when she penned all this foolishness. Gilmore Girls S7 E12 "To Whom it May Concern"/Buffy S7 E12 "Potential"Dawn and Christopher realize they may not be "the one." These realizations are narrated by the women they can never seem to win over. As Andrew continues his ascent into good guy territory, Anna takes a straight nose dive into villain town. Rory makes amends with Lucy. Buffy reunites with Clem. Clem and Jackson both revel some upsetting secrets. (We don't see Clem's, but Jackson's is inarguably worse.) Both episodes end by tugging on heartstrings. (one pretty literally) P.S. This one gets derailed a FEW times, and we laugh harder than we've ever laughed on the podcast. Here's an article about Amy Sherman-Palladino's new show, Étoile!Don't forget to check out our music video for "Getaway (Stars Hollow)" from super talented musical artist, The Other Realm. To Whom It May Concern Michael Lodge, Speaking Pastor As we wrap up our study on Acts, we will turn our attention to the letters that were written during this story. Over the next several months, we will be looking at each letter to understand why we desperately need it. Today, we look at Paul's life and travels to understand the desperation it must have taken to write, deliver, and walk these letters into the communities that received them. Do you understand who Paul was, who the communities were, and the passion behind the 10,000 miles of travel? Click on the links below for additional Cascade Church resources. Theatre-Five (aka Theater-Five or Theatre 5) was a radio drama series, presented by ABC between 1964 and 1965. The series used an anthology format, presenting several short (20-minute) radio plays across several genres, several which reflected topical issues contemporary with its airing. Writers for the show varied, as did actors, although a principal cast included George O. Petrie, Brett Morrison, Jackson Beck, Robert Dryden, Elliott Reid, Court Benson, Cliff Carpenter, and Bryna Raeburn. The show's 1965 run featured several well-known actors, including an early role for James Earl Jones (Incident on US 1), a pre-M*A*S*H Alan Alda (A Bad Day's Work), and Ed Begley (The Pigeon) three years after his Academy Award win. Another Theatre-Five actor was Romeo Muller, who also drafted stories for the series but who became best known for his work with Rankin/Bass Productions such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (TV special).
