In this vulnerable and enlightening Part 2 conversation with Britton and Carolee Beckham, we dive deep into what it means to truly rewrite the rules around love, sex, healing, and relationships. From the ashes of betrayal and religious conditioning, this powerful couple rebuilt their connection through ritual, shadow work, astrology, and sacred sexuality. Together, they now guide others through spiritual awakening and conscious intimacy. We explore how Carolee and Britton ritualized their healing using moon cycles, embraced the practice of sex magic to anchor in new beliefs, and redefined what relationship and sovereignty truly mean to them. This is an unfiltered look at what healing with your partner can look like—messy, magical, and radically free. What We Cover in This Episode: What shadow work really is and why it's key to healing emotional and generational wounds How ritual and astrology (especially moon phases) shape their spiritual practices Reclaiming sexuality after betrayal and trauma The power of sovereignty in relationships, especially for women How sex magic and sacred intimacy amplify spiritual healing Redefining monogamy, polyamory, and relationship labels Real talk on kink, play parties, boundaries, and radical honesty Finding personal truth through divine feminine embodiment Connect with Eve: Support the Podcast: Become a Patreon member for ad-free episodes, exclusive content, and early access Website: Please Me Online - Reach Eve and stay connected. In this deeply personal and transformational episode, Eve sits down with Britton and Carolee Beckham, a married couple who share their powerful journey of healing, reconnection, and radical redefinition of love, sex, and spirituality. Raised in the Mormon church and bound by purity culture, Britton and Carolee candidly open up about the infidelity that rocked their marriage, the church's damaging response, and how plant medicine, spiritual deconstruction, and sacred sexuality led them to a new foundation—one built on truth, desire, and liberation. From psilocybin journeys to moon rituals, from shame to self-love, this episode dives into: The impact of religious conditioning on sex and identity Why traditional approaches to healing didn't work—and what did The role of plant medicine (including their first mushroom ceremony) in spiritual awakening How moon cycles and ritual baths became a gateway to feminine empowerment The transformative power of sexual reeducation and ISTA training Why radical honesty was the key to saving—and elevating—their marriage Whether you're navigating your own healing, redefining your relationship with sex, or exploring spirituality beyond religion, this episode is a permission slip to do it your way—with love, courage, and full-body liberation. We're continuing our Recruit Reflection series with incoming North Carolina freshman Jillian Fisher. Fisher is a three-time Level 10 national qualifier from Brandy Johnson's. In her own words, she was a little “late to the party” — she didn't take her official visits until the summer before her senior year of high school. That summer, she visited Iowa State, Arizona State and NC State, ultimately committing to Arizona State.About two months later, Fisher switched her commitment to Iowa State, where she signed in November 2024. A few months ago, she was released from her national letter of intent with Iowa State and signed with North Carolina — which had actually been her top choice from the beginning.Fisher's recruiting story is unique in that she changed her mind a few times, but ultimately ended up where she felt she was meant to be. She joins us to talk about what led to her commitment switches, the process of being released from her NLI and more.Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Claudia, Siona, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Lauren D, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Amy C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B, Katie E, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D, BC & Caroline M!

The female cochineal beetle may not be aware of it, but it owes a debt of gratitude to Joshua Britton. In February, Britton's Debut Biotech unveiled a breakthrough set to disrupt how beauty products are formulated. Using biotechnology, the San Diego-based company created a vegan, bio-identical alternative to a common red cosmetics colorant traditionally harvested from the cochineal beetle. This beetle pigment can be found on ingredient labels as “carmine,” “cochineal extract,” “crimson lake,” “natural red 4” or “C.I. 75470.” A quick online search reveals carmine in products from Stila, Fenty Beauty, Maybelline, M.A.C., Chanel and dozens more brands. Britton has had a team of 10 researchers working on this for around four years. Debut has invested around $10 million in the project thus far, and the new, vegan pigment will soon be available for the industry at scale. Britton has a PHD in biochemistry and organic chemistry and launched Debut six years ago. Debut is backed by L'Oréal's science-focused incubator arm Bold and was named a Time 100 2025 Most Influential Companies of the Year. The company also launched its first in-house skin-care brand, called Deinde, in 2024. Glossy awarded Britton a Glossy 50 award last year. Britton joins the Glossy Beauty Podcast to discuss the breakthrough and its impact, and provides a primer on the power of biotechnology in beauty today. But first, Lexy Lebsack is joined by senior reporter Emily Jensen to discuss the news of the week. This includes early results from Amazon Prime Days, which is on track to be the retailer's largest annual sale yet. Jensen and Lebsack also discuss Sephora's newest brand, Beauty of Joseon, which is known for its viral and hard-to-get sunscreens. Founder Sumin Lee joined the Glossy Beauty Podcast late last year to discuss its stunning growth in the U.S. market. The company hopes to sell $120 million in the U.S. market this year.

The gap between what neurodiverse children need and what traditional education provides continues to widen, leaving parents desperate for answers while waiting years for diagnoses and appropriate support. In this eye-opening conversation, Lizzie Shearing and Liz Britton share how Learning DNA's revolutionary approach is transforming outcomes for children with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other neurodevelopmental differences. At the heart of their methodology is the recognition that most children don't fit neatly into diagnostic boxes. "I think what really struck me in my role as a SENCO was that there isn't really one child I've ever met that only has one difficulty," explains Lizzie, highlighting why the traditional siloed pathways to support often fail our most vulnerable learners. Their 360-degree assessment evaluates fourteen distinct learning skills, creating a comprehensive picture that prioritizes interventions based on individual needs rather than diagnostic labels. One of the most fascinating revelations is how frequently visual processing difficulties are misdiagnosed as dyslexia. Lizzie shares how proper screening and intervention improved her own daughter's reading speed by 25% overnight through specialized glasses and vision therapy. This exemplifies Learning DNA's evidence-based approach, which looks beyond labels to identify and address the root causes of learning barriers. The conversation explores their innovative therapeutic programs, including movement therapy using AI tracking technology, personalized learning programs, vision therapy, and auditory integration training. What makes their approach particularly powerful is how they bring together families, schools and specialists to create holistic support systems with practical strategies for both home and classroom environments. For parents navigating the overwhelming journey of supporting a neurodiverse child, this episode offers both hope and practical guidance. Discover how understanding your child's complete learning profile – rather than chasing diagnoses – could be the key to unlocking their potential and transforming their educational experience. We're back with another Recruit Reflection, and we're especially excited about this one because it's the first time we're featuring someone who went through the recruiting process but ultimately decided to step away from gymnastics to focus on academics. This week, we're joined by Leah Fontaine, a member of the Class of 2025 from Capital Gymnastics. Fontaine was a Level 10 gymnast for six years and spent time on the elite track during her younger years. She had dreamed of competing in college gymnastics for as long as she could remember and took six official visits when the recruiting period began. However, around that time, she began dealing with an ankle injury and faced the challenge of recovering while maintaining the interest of college coaches. After much reflection, she made the difficult decision to walk away from the sport to focus on her future. Georgetown University was one of the schools Fontaine had been interested in, although it doesn't have a gymnastics program. She was only able to consider it seriously after stepping away from gymnastics. Since leaving club gymnastics, she has embraced new opportunities — including starting a nonprofit organization and participating in high school gymnastics during her senior year. Now preparing to start her college journey at Georgetown this fall, Fontaine joins us to reflect on her unique recruiting experience and what lies ahead.Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Naomi S, Claudia, Siona, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Lauren D, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Amy C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B, Katie E, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, Catherine, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D & BCAll Things Scoreboard Episode: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/all-things-scoreboard-introducing-ncaa-gymnastics-new/id1508390381?i=1000685173734

What if everything you believed about love, sex, and marriage was built on shame—and it nearly destroyed you? In this raw, rebellious, and soul-awakening episode of the Sex and Bacon podcast, Sarah sits down with Carolee and Britton—former devout Mormons turned sexual freedom seekers—for an unfiltered conversation about unlearning religious programming, healing from infidelity, and discovering the power of sex magic. They dive into how growing up Mormon created deep repression, guilt, and silence around sexuality—and how it all came to a head in their marriage through betrayal, disconnection, and years of internalized shame. But instead of falling apart, Carolee and Britton chose the path of radical self-responsibility, spiritual awakening, and shadow work (with a few smashed picture frames and moonlit rituals along the way). From smashing purity culture to manifesting their dream home mid-orgasm, this episode is a masterclass in rewriting the rules—and reclaiming your body, your voice, and your pleasure.

This week, Britton kicked off our Parables series in Luke 6:46-49 where Jesus teaches what it is to follow and obey Him.
A run-in with a badger, a gentlemanly pee break, a spectacular sunset and some amazing competition—those were just a few of the features of Rob Britton's record-breaking Unbound Gravel XL win. It set his rough gravel season right, even if after more than two weeks following the race, the Victoria rider was still not fully recovered. Before the big event in Kansas, Britton's season wasn't going well. Bad luck, mostly, led to a series of results that left the Victoria rider frustrated. To change things up, he registered for the 350-mile version of Unbound. At 3 p.m. on May 30, he set off with a group of riders that included Ted King, Laurens ten Dam, Robin Gemperle and the rider Britton jokingly refers to as Gravel Jesus, Lachlan Morton. The next day, 17:49:51 after the race began, Britton crossed the finish line, winning Unbound XL with a record-setting time.In this episode, recorded just before gravel nationals in Water Valley, Alta., (but with a short clip following that event), Britton gets into the details of the race, including gear, fuelling and some of the tactical decisions he made. He discusses his long-time relationship with Lachlan Morton, which goes back to some of the Australian's earliest road races in North America. Today, there's a “Morton effect” on gravel racing that even had an influence on Britton's race beyond the one-on-one duelling on the rough roads of Kansas.Back in 2017, when Britton was a pro roadie, he won the Tour of Utah stage race. How does the biggest win of his road career compare with his victory at gravel's main event? How long does he think his Unbound XL record will last? And does his win in Emporia, Kansas, change anything or open any new doors for Britton? Find out.
This week we chat to Bob Britton. We are so pleased that Bob agreed to chat to us. Bob is a distinguished military and corportae leader with over 30years of expertise in revenue generation and related fields.
We're continuing Season 3 of our Recruit Reflection series with Anika Most, a rising sophomore and member of Kent State's 2025 regular season MAC championship team. Anika always dreamed of becoming a Division I gymnast, but her recruiting journey wasn't easy. She faced a lot of rejection early on because she was a bit behind skill-wise at the time. Still, she never gave up. She kept working hard in the gym, held down two jobs to pay for training, and stayed persistent with coaches — eventually finding her home at Kent State. Anika is living proof that hard work and determination really do pay off. We hope her story brings comfort and hope to future recruits navigating their own journeys.Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Naomi S, Claudia, Siona, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Lauren D, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Amy C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B, Katie E, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, Catherine, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D& BC
A former baseball standout from one of Texas' top-ranked high schools, Britton made a bold pivot from the field to the stage in 2022. After an accomplished athletic career filled with championship victories and junior college play, he chose to follow his musical calling instead of pursuing sports scholarships. Music has always been in his blood. His father was a gospel singer before founding a church with Britton's mother, where Britton continues to develop his voice through worship as well as writing his own music. Though transitioning from teammate to solo artist has been an adjustment, he sees "The Voice" as the perfect opportunity to combine his love of mentorship and teamwork with his passion for music.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-unplugged-totally-uncut--994165/support.

We're so excited to kick off Season 3 of our Recruit Reflection series — where we sit down with athletes who've gone through the college recruiting process to hear all about their journey, from their first contact with coaches to making their final decision. With June 15th right around the corner, the Class of 2027 will soon be able to talk to college coaches. Our hope with this series is to shed light on the many different paths athletes can take, and to highlight both the highs and the lows that come with each individual journey. We're kicking things off with Annalisa and Maea Milton, who joined the elite ranks in 2022 and are identical twin sisters that are committed to LSU. Being twins ourselves who are inseparable, we were super interested in their stories and how they navigated the process. Did they do their calls together? Did they consider going separate ways? We discuss it all!
