AARON SMYTH is such a talented human; he’s a dancer, director and actor. He has trained and danced all over the world, moving to New York when he was just 17 to join the American Ballet Theatre. Aaron started dancing when he was just 8 years old and still remembers falling in love with dance then. He’s since been on both Americas Got Talent and Australia’s Got Talent (he came 3rd in the Aussie show). Since then he’s dancer for Michelle Obama (as you do) and even been in the Disney movie “The Nutcracker” with Morgan Freeman and Keira Knightly, and yep he’s trailer as opposite Keira’s! We’ve sped up the release of this episode because due to Corona virus i didn’t get to see Aaron in Billy Elliot (my ticket was for the night we need up recording this episode) and he shared as a creative and performer how he went form sell out shows to being told at 11:30pm after a show that they wouldn’t be coming back to perform this show again, and to pack up his room and head home. Aaron has such a positive outlook even in these confronting times, i hope this episode inspires you as much as it did me. On this episode I had the opportunity to sit down and chat with Aaron Smyth who is a professional dancer now living in the UK and performing in the Westend show "An American In Paris"Aaron left Australia at the age of 17 and traveled the world after being accepted into the very prestigious School of American Ballet. From here it has been a dream life for Aaron being able to live out his dancing career while performing in multiple shows all over the world and earn a living doing what he loves.In this episode we talk about how difficult it is to be a dancer and what it takes to be the best in this highly competitive field. I feel that many of you will face similar hardships and long hours in your own chosen field and you will gain a lot of insight into what it will take to go after your dreams and make it work. Aaron also dedicates a lot of his time to the charity that he started called Dance for Humanity which helps a number of different causes all over the world.This was a great chat and I really enjoyed talking with Aaron to learn more about him, his career and what it takes to become one of the best in your field of work.
