Mike Vacanti and I Talk Origins and Quitting Your Job To Follow Your True Passions

On this episode I had the absolute pleasure to talk to Mike Vacanti a fitness professional, entrepreneur, former trainer to Gary Vaynerchuk and a guy who instead of saying he will quit his job one day and follow his passion, actually did it.I will be the first to admit this Podcast held a special significance to me as you find out in this episode, it was watching one of Mike's first youtube videos back in January of 2015 that set me on a path that has seen me not only change my life, but save my sisters life. It was great to sit down with someone who I truly admire and have learnt so much from in this coaching, weight loss and body reshape space as well as how to be a great human being.Mike is your typical guy who grew up in America with a loving family which gave him a great start to crush his school years and receive a job offer at a prestigious Accounting Firm. However, within a few weeks he knew this job was not for him and with a passion in the fitness space he sought out to put himself into a place that would allow him to quit that job and chase his true passion in life. As the saying goes, the rest is history and I invite you to listen into this episode and find out the story of Mike as well as some practical advice to quit your day job and follow your passion.Again, I would like to thank Mike for dropping in to have a chat and I hope you all enjoy this episode as much as I did. Below you will find links to all of his social media, websites and products. I highly recommend you give him a follow as I am sure you will not only enjoy his content but learn a thing or two along the way.Have a fantastic day and I will see you next episode where I get to ask my next guest "How The Focaccia?"CheersMike Details:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEtrSsxLOSLvcCd5syaFgegInstagram: @mikevacantiWebsite: www.ontheregimen.comBest macro and calorie tracking app around (iTunes and Android): Mikes Macros

On this episode I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down to talk to a Robin French who is an Ex Professional Basketball player turned Elite OCR Athlete.Never heard of Obstacle Course Racing or OCR? Well neither had I up until around 3 weeks ago when I was introduced to Robin through Instagram. Many of you will most likely know what OCR is and have heard of the race series called tough mudder. Robin likes to say that tough mudder is the "fun run" of the OVR world, however, admits it is a great way for people to get involved in the sport.Robin has only recently taken up fasting and even with his hectic training schedule has found that the no breakfast life is one that has helped his energy levels, training capacity and ability to recover as well as his mental capability to think fast and confident throughout a OCR Race.Robin is one of the UK's top OCR athletes and will be off to compete in the world champs being held in Canada in October of 2017. We spoke about his training, his introduction in the fasting world and how he ties it all together to have him at peak conditioning for race day.I hope you enjoyed this chat as much as I did and learn something about a new and quickly emerging world sport. If you wish to follow Robin on his journey to the world champs and beyond, his Instagram details are below.Thank you again to Robin for coming onto the show and I will see you next time on another episode of How The Focaccia?Robin French Details:Instagram: @robin_essex
