    I was talking to ChatGPT recently about what it would look like to start an online business from zero today - no audience, no email list, no content, nothing - and it reminded me how differently I'd approach things now compared to what most people are still teaching.A few years ago, the common advice was always the same: post on Instagram, create a freebie, grow your list, and slowly build an audience before you even think about selling anything.It took time, but back then, it still sort of worked. You could post consistently and new people would actually see it.But that's just not how things work anymore.Organic reach has dropped, there's more noise than ever, and I see so many incredible yoga teachers putting in hours of effort without seeing momentum. Not because they're doing something wrong, but because the approach itself is outdated.If I were starting completely from zero in 2026, I wouldn't spend months trying to build an audience before creating something to sell.
