We got into some back and forth on that video but got along despite our disagreements, so I invited Blossom on the show along with transexual speaker and activist Buck Angel to respectfully discuss some of the most contentious questions surrounding the trans debate, from athletics and bathrooms to child transitioning. Big thanks to Buck and Blossom for joining me in studio and I hope we all learn something from this fascinating conversation! CNN made history this week when they joined forces with HRC to present the first ever LGBTQ Town Hall, (live!) with all of the 2020 democratic presidential candidates. Taking it one step further, Julie & Brandy also made history when they conned their way into being a part of it.  Julie asked California Senator Kamala Harris a question about homeless LGBTQ youth, and then Brandy did her best to lurk-creep on Blossom Brown & Beto O'Rourke's viral moment. All in all, the Town Hall was a resounding success, only to be overshadowed by Trump's insane Kanye-rantings at a series of rallies, and the near-arrest of his personal thug, Rudy Ghoulliani. Julie & Brandy do attempt to break it all down for you, while basking in their small (and meaningless?) CNN-fueled glory.  **************************************************************************************************************************** *** Subscribe to our Patreon Podcast! https://www.patreon.com/dumbgaypolitics **** *** Check out our website! https://www.julieandbrandy.com  *****  *****  Dumb Gay Politics with Julie & Brandy  **** Julie Goldman ****  Brandy Howard  **** Julie and Brandy ***  The People's Couch ***  DGP *** Gay Podcast ***  Starburns Audio Learn more about your ad choices.
